Negative experience: I am so confused or maybe I am just gullible and naive. I was looking at a holiday to Fiji which advertised the holiday as $3,579 for two people. I expected because I wanted to leave from Melbourne instead of Sydney, it would cost a bit more, but the final quote was $5,575.26. I do think it's false advertising to add approximately $2000 in hidden costs. I just hope this review saves you the time.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I was unlucky enough to get a young girl, who I later found out that I was her fiest customer. She mucked up nearly every aspect of my holiday/s. I asked for quotes on 3 different holidays including annual travel insurance. Holiday 1, Central Australia to meet my daughter in Yulara/Uluru, she got the dates and flights wrong (my son in law ended up organising it all). Holiday 2, flights and cruise. She booked the wrong date, she didn't check the cabin configuration and booked bunks for a big fellow and an ill 70yo lady. For some reason she booked a motel for the 10th June when we could have flown home to Bendigo on this night. The flight on 11th to Bendigo was cancelled due to weather and I had to endure a 2 hour bus trip from Tullamarine while suffering from terminal bone cancer. Not ideal. Holiday 3, I opted to book myself. Also she cancelled the travel insurance at the last minute so infrustration I organised my own

Prior to confirming a booking, each customer is required to check their invoice, confirming their details, names and travel arrangements are all correct before any payment is taken or booking made. We can understand your frustrations, we do work to ensure all information is made clear prior to booking, so when customers book, they are making an educated decision. Positive experience: I have travelled with Flight Centre before but now 2 with Morgan as she is a good operator and gives a traveller confidence if its their first trip so now I go straight back and talk to her as I dont want spin talk if I fall into difficuties over there as anything can happen . Very happy with her and her approachable demeanor .

Negative experience: I don’t have a great deal of faith with this team. On Monday (19/05/2025) I tried to book flights for the family. When they sent me the invoice I noticed two issues. The first I addressed by phone the second by the email I forwarded. The first issue was the dropping of my wife and the adding of my son twice onto the ticket list. I don’t feel my wife would appreciate being left behind. The second was the adding of a ‘captains pack’ by the team which had not been discussed. Watch out for that extra fee if you feel you will go with FC. When I contacted the FC team, they removed the captains pack and reissued the invoice. THEN We had a potential issue with my families’ middle names. The when they tell names must be as on passports, I take it seriously. This took more time for them to resolve. THEN The next invoice a 6th family member added on. I had acquired a second daughter from somewhere, awkward. Given that at this stage flight centre cannot seem to get it right, I am not filled with a great deal of confidence. They assured me the whole time that this was due to glitches in their system. I was nervous, but OK. However, this took so long to resolve, that the price went up by $536. When I raised this the team at FC said there was nothing they could do as this was done at the airlines end. At this point I lost patience. The FC’s inability to take accountability for the delays their system caused was not acceptable. I ended up organising my own flights, with a better airline for $3000 less. I will not bother with a travel agent again.

Positive experience: Impossible to get through on the phone to make an appointment, and the message box is always full, so you have to go to the store and sit and wait for a consultant. However, my face-to-face dealings with Zac and Christian have been first class.

Negative experience: My husband and I came in. We had a booking. The person who served us did a fantastic job but then passed on our details of what we want to someone more senior saying he will work on our flights and info to get a even better deal. Guess what, we never got a call back... so we had to do the calling. They would answer and say we'll get back to you guys or 'we have your details we'll get back to you. To this day NOTHING. What's the whole point of saying you'll do this then don't.. a complete waste of our time. Booked our flights with a different flight centre.

Negative experience: The lady behind the foreign cash wouldn’t accept my USD because of a fold in the note, the note that was taken out of a bank in America but then folded to fit in my wallet she couldn’t accept it and didn’t do any other test to see if it was real or fake. Think if she’s going to work behind a counter dealing with cash she needs to know everything to do about notes in all countries as I know multiple ways to determine whether a US not is fake. Absolute joke

Negative experience: I have always chosen flight centre bendigo as my first option in bookings but recently I have senr email and left messages for call back and have not received any response. Its like thay are doing so well they dont need anymore customers. I feel terribly let down.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service I got for my booking to Japan was told E mails and phone calls would be sent which didn't arrive . and why I was sent to Tokyo airport which was very stressful to find transport to my Hotel then the Bullet train to Kyoto wasn't easy. Why I wasn't sent to Kyoto Airport where the tour started which would have been so easy I will never understand' Never again will I book with Flight centre

The majority of travellers do choose to catch the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto due to the flight pricing and availability in comparison to the ease of the bullet train. Negative experience: Poor service beyond belief. Return flights to Hobart request on 2/11/22 and still today no confirmation. A paying customer shouldnt have to follow up with any business multiple times. Either under staffed , poor attitude or a combination of both.

Positive experience: It took this store 30 minutes to do our booking for flights to Cairns. Very Happy with results. This flight centre got straight back to us where Flight centre in Mitchell St still haven't got back to us. We were waiting on a reply since 25th Jan, and still waiting on a email., with detail of flight. Very poor service at that flight centre. Go to Flight Centre at Kangaroo Flat. Fantastic experience: Flight Centre Bendigo made my family holiday the best ever. Britt in the Bendigo office went above and beyond with support and making sure we had everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble, even making little packages for my kids Christmas surprise and for them to find out we were going on our first family holiday. Fantastic experience: What a great experience. First time users of flight centre Bendigo, but will return. Such a cheerful person attending to our needs, smiling happy face Britt couldn't do enough for us. My thoughts of going to flight centre being a waste of time, soon evaporated under her happy demeanor.
Negative experience: Have used flight centre prior to covid and was excellent. Tried again recently and service was pathetic. Followed up by phone and email 3 times and got no response from consultant. Don't know why they bother opening the doors at Bendigo, the guy I saw was worse than useless. Feel as though I need to reply to your reply......I did go in there....rang, made an appointment, went to the appointment and was told I would have an email with itinerary that afternoon. Rang and even went in there again after 3 days in case my 3 messages hadn't been passed on. Consultant was conveniently away and I was assured I would have something in the new week. Still nothing!!!!!!!!!!! Please accept that your office and staff need serious attention and stop making excuses.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic customer service from Nikki - Mitchell Street Bendigo. She went above and beyond as we encountered problems even after the tickets were confirmed and paid for. Two and a half hours to organize two separate flights to a Greek Island. We wanted a good price, one stop over, short connection times, good airline company and match up with domestic flights. Nikki patiently waded through all the information to get deals we were happy with and solved a problem with one of my flights a few hours later. Much appreciated:)

Positive experience: Very helpful in explaining the answers to a lot of questions I had for a first time overseas traveller...although one thing was not explained that I found in the books given to me about the countries I'm travelling to. It's something that the staff member should know about that either forgot or didn't know.
Fantastic experience: I have used Flight Centre Bendigo for 2 international trips in the last 3 months and Nikki was fantastic. Very responsive to communications and is very professional and efficient. I will use Nikki and Flight Centre for future bookings for sure. I also reaped the rewards of the Price drop guarantee and had a $400 credit which I used on latest trip. This is from purchasing the Captain’s package and finding a cheaper matching airfare prior to leaving. Well worth it if you don’t mind doing your research!

Melissa organised everything - flights, travel insurance, car hire and even theme park entry! No detail was missed. Negative experience: Will not use flight centre Bendigo again. Poor service by Alex Perry & Mel. A very derogatory text sent by Mel to Alex Perry was accidentally sent to my husband's phone . Left a message for manager Cassy to call us to no avail. We booked our hotel in Manila ourselves at lot cheaper price than quoted by Alex Perry . Fantastic experience: Flight Centre Bendigo help us by listening to what we wanted to see and do. They stuck to our budget and worked out a holiday plan to suit. Our holiday in Vietnam was magical because of the time and effort they took to get to know us. Our accommodation was lovely and our trip on the boat on Halong Bay was beautiful. Negative experience: Very disappointed with their service, would never use them again! We stepped out of our comfort zone and decided to do something we wouldn’t usually do, and put our trust in Flight Centre Bendigo to organise a short holiday to Queensland. BIG MISTAKE, HUGE MISTAKE. We were very specific as to what we were after, which included a luxurious and clean accommodation, a nice car and to go to a dinner show and a theme park, during a short 3 night, (romantic) stay in Queensland. We were very disappointed with the holiday they organised for us, for starters they booked us into the Q1 Resort and spa which sounded great and looked great on the internet, but was nothing more than dirty badly managed serviced apartments. The rooms we were shown all looked tired and in need of a good clean, paint, proper curtains. The furniture was dated dirty and tired furniture, the bed was hard (no topper) and had a big wire seam down the middle. There was a long blond hair on the bed, the cushions on the lounge were full of stains, the airconditioning vent was full of lint, black hair was found on the shelves in the closet area, there was a filthy toilet brush next to the toilet, and these were only a few issues. We refused to stay there and had to make other arrangements ourselves. It took over a week for flight centre bendigo to organise a refund of just over $500 for 3 nights accommodation (no wonder the place was a dump, they only used $500 out of our $2560 budget on accommodation). Not sure what we would have done if we didn’t have extra cash in the bank. We were left to organise our own alternative accommodation as the staff member who was assisting us had to leave work to pick up his child from daycare and left the office and us in a predicament. We were booked in to a dinner show for the evening after arriving at our destination, However on the way to the airport were told that our show had been changed to the evening on the afternoon we arrived. So it was a mad rush to reorganise accommodation and be at the show on time. You’ll save money if you book your own holiday and accommodation. After adding all our costs. We would have saved $300 paying full price for everything, however I found out that you can get great deals if you book when you get there rather than in advance. Never again!!!

Fantastic experience: Always very flexible and helpful (we've booked 4 times now through them). Very supportive when political unrest caused rerouting of part of our trip - an alternative sorted within 24 hrs.
Fantastic experience: Very good service and they are not respected through partnership with the airline so can do most bookings.
