Fantastic experience: Angelique from Kawana Flight Centre team was just fantastic (again) to deal with. Super easy to communicate with, as a returning customer she fully understands what I’m after, nails the pricing and delivers in a cost effective and timely manner. I’ve introduced some friends to her as well and I will definitely continue to work with Angelique on future travel needs.

Fantastic experience: Kaitlyn was excellent, from our initial appointment where she helped us plan our eight-week trip through Europe providing a comprehensive itinerary both bound document and an electronic version. Kaitlyn arranged transport from the airports to the hotels and day excursions at each city. I highly recommend Kaitlyn if you want help planning your next adventure.

Fantastic experience: Kaitlyn was FANTASTIC organising my latest 6 week European trip just like my previous two overseas trips. Her knowledge is fantastic and she made everything so easy for me. Prague and Budapest as well as numerous other places. The right Hotels and connections etc. Everything was smooth thanks to Kaitlyn. What an amazing young lady she is. Kaitlyn even helped out when I lost my bag in Singapore and tracked it down for me! Goes the whole nine yards. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Just want to thank Jelly at Flight Centre Kawana for helping us put together a flight and accommodation package for our 20th wedding anniversary in the Philippines. We received plenty of accommodation options and a very quick response to ant changes we wanted to make. Highly recommend Jelly and the team at Kawana.

Negative experience: What we thought was going to be a positive experience has turned into an ongoing nightmare. First up we were pressured and tricked into buying the so called. 'Captains Pack's which we didn't want but was added to our costs. Secondly the flight were $250 more each than what we found when we checked the flights at home. Then after being talked into getting Flight Centre travel insurance and being told we could cancel with no problems. We'll that's where the problem started. We cancelled the insurance after 48 hours and were told we would receive a refund within 5 days. 15 days later...no refund....and apparently they don't know when we will get a refund. Apparently as we were told Kawana flight centre only has one refund transaction a week and they don't know when it is coming. OMG this is not good enough with ETF these days it should be within 24 hours, 48 at the longest. Very disappointed with the blatant rip off and appalling customer service. Why is it so hard to provide a refund within 5 days. One would wonder how difficult it would be to make a claim with this company if you can't even get a refund of money which belongs to you.

Negative experience: I phoned at 930 this morning with the intention of making appointment at 6pm this evening to discuss and book an overseas trip. I was advised on the phone, that appointments were not necessary and that it was a walk in centre. I turned up just before 6pm and upon entering, there was an unwelcome facial expression on the staff member as we approached. We expressed we would like to talk about booking an overseas trip and the response given was that they had an appointment booked at 630 to see someone else. This was the opposite advice given this morning on the phone. The customer service, especially in a sales environment, was extremely poor, along with the contradictory advice given.

Fantastic experience: Jazmin is exceptional at her job, & a true Professional. She booked me an incredible day tour to Abu Dhabi & a Desert Dinner Tour in Dubai, which was "one of the best days of my life"! My hotel was perfect, & I had further flights to/from London. I felt so looked after every step of the way, & being on the other side of the world & travelling alone, I was initially worried before I left, but "Superstar Jazmin" had it all 100% sorted! So grateful for her expertise & care - she gets a 10/10 from me.

Fantastic experience: Jazmin was excellent ! She explained everything to me and she dealt with a difficult booking agent on the phone and she got my elderly parents booked into a limited mobility cabin. Highly recommended !

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service or lack of service. We walked into the shop with hopes of planning a big overseas trip but the assistant clearly could not be bothered to help, instead she said the airlines didn’t have their prices out yet so we should come back in a few months. We are looking at August 25 so we know flights are already available!,. We are frequent flyers domestically and internationally and we know this was absolutely incorrect. We left the shop feeling how poor we had been treated. We are mid 50’s and actuallly own shares in the company so it was even more annoying. I have a lot of respect for Graham Turner and I am sure he would also be very upset hearing that legitimate customers would be treated like this. I suggest the owners of this shop look at retraining their employees to protect the flight centre brand. The share price has been significantly affected by COVID and needs to recover, this level of service will not help….

I needed some hotel bookings overseas and she was able to get everything booked for me without any issues and was able to answer all of my questions/concerns. Jelly made the process super easy and pleasant so she definitely deserves 5+ stars.

She saved me $3000.00 in flight changes in ensuring the airline I was flying stayed true to my initial ticketing.

Fantastic experience: Kaitlyn Jensen at the Kawana branch made my recent trip to London and back seamless. Being a first time overseas traveller she spent time with me mapping everything out. Transfers to my accommodation and printing out and highlighting my connections through Dubai and back home. I felt like I had a virtual assistant and that to me, reduced my anxiety and concerns. 10 out of 10 experience and would recommend her highly. Thanks Kaitlyn you went above and beyond!!! Ps. Fantastic experience: Jelly is our family's travel agent at Flight Centre Kawana. Whilst we live on the Gold Coast we always book our holidays through Jelly because she has proven herself to be an outstanding agent time and time again over the years. We book at least 4+ holidays a year with her, mostly overseas holidays (post covid) and she never lets us down. She is always quick to reply to my emails with a million questions and uses her experience to find the best locations based on what she knows we like. I strongly recommend Jelly. L,H&S.

Negative experience: I come in not sure how to book a hoilday or whens the best time of year to go to country i wanted to go to which I explained to the girl, at kawana store and all the respond i got was rude and acting like i was interuping their day you need better customer services. People are just trying to book a holiday, it's not that serious.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely have to give 5 stars to Angelique who is at Kawana Flight Centre; for years I have been solely using her to organize flights between Europe and Australia for myself and my family. She is absolutely amazing and offers above and beyond what is required - she is on hand for any questions and gives a personal experience to booking your trip. She has shown compassion during times when we had to change travel plans due to a death in the family and she acts quickly to find us the best options and secure great prices when we wanted/needed to visit family back and forth around the world. She even made even our wedding celebrations smooth and possible between the Netherlands and Australia - helping to fly my brother over to walk me down the aisle, then all of us back to the Sunshine Coast for our reception with my family here. I cannot recommend her enough. My combined family here in Australia and Europe would follow her anywhere to be able to book with her all our future travels. Thank you for such exceptional service.

I booked through Jack and he was incredibly helpful and took the time to make sure I booked exactly what I wanted. Negative experience: We paid deposits for a cruise from Brisbane to Hobart and return on Quantum of the Seas departing 30th January 2023 with 1day in Sydney, 1day in Eden and 1 day in Hobart. We were notified the itinerary had changed and now the was 2 full days and 2 nights docked in Sydney. As we have been to Sydney so many times before, this did not suit us so asked Flight Centre for a refund or at the very least, a credit to rebook on a more suitable cruise. We were told Royal Carribean would not refund or credit our deposits even though "they" had changed the itinerary. We feel this is not the cruise we booked and should be entitled to a refund. I reached out to Flight Centre to see if they could help but the response amounted to "not our fault" We certainly will not use Flight Center again. Overall we feel robbed of our deposits and Flight Centre don't care.

Negative experience: Didn't call me back. Went to another FC and had great service.

Negative experience: Booked a business trip for flights only to China before the virus was known. Lots of hidden undisclosed fees to loose $630 from the refund. Will be booking directly with airline next time instead of Flight centre as i did with hotel and got a full money refund back. Flight Centre Kawana is slow in response, would not recommend. :-(

Negative experience: Booked a very expensive USA trip and everything from flights, car rentals, hotels, transfers had mistakes and hidden charges. 2 no shows to confirmed transfers. Lots of hidden undisclosed fees and costs to pay along the way. So many issues and no support. Would not recommend.
