Negative experience: Had a really disappointing experience at the Flight Centre store in Robina town centre today. My friend and I waited around 20 minutes just to be acknowledged—no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. When someone finally came over, it was a man named Wayne Hickey, who was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and unhelpful. We asked if there were any deals available around the time we were planning to book our trip, and he rudely cut us off and said, “No, we don’t have any deals,” in a tone that made it clear he couldn’t be bothered. Then, when we mentioned that we had only booked a one-way flight, he questioned us in a condescending and rude way, making us feel like we were stupid for doing so—even after we explained that we only had enough money at the time to book one flight. There was absolutely no understanding or respect for our situation, and we felt completely dismissed. Overall, the customer service was awful and left us both feeling frustrated and disrespected. Wouldn’t recommend this branch at all.

Fantastic experience: I have to say Jordan was the most helpful travel agent ever yesterday! We came in with a last minute wish, leaving to go overseas in just three days, and he delivered on everything! He was patient when prices for flights were rapidly changing on the portal, and stayed back well past closing time to ensure everything was perfect, and organised! Fantastic experience: We had an appointment to see Jordan at Flight Center so we went in sat down & proceeded to look at some travel plans, while I was there I started flushing then I started getting a rash on my arms then the rash started to travel. As I went to stand up I felt very light headed & as I got to the door someone got a chair & put it under me as Im sure I would have fallen at that stage. I lost all touch with reality at that stage. To say the Flight Center, Center management, Security, Price Line Staff were all absolutely amazing. I really cant thank them enough for the love & care that was shown to me in my hour of need. I do need to Apologies to the lady with no heart at all for interrupting her day but I do hope something like this never happens to her. The Ambulance Staff were also absolutely amazing my hour of need will forever hold a special place in my heart... THANK YOU ALL so very much

Fantastic experience: i would like to respond to Gabriela Luna review, it was my wife that had a major medical episode & the staff Jo,Kat,Chole,Jordan all staff members of Flight Centre are a credit to Flight Centre they were very quick to act in a difficult situation, whilst they have probably never experienced this type of situation before they all stepped up to the plate, they did a fantastic job under extreme conditions, showing care & compassion, looking after my wife until the Ambulance arrive along with security & staff from Price line to all you guys/gals i say thank you all & to Gabriela sorry my wife interrupted your travel plans, i hope this never happens to yourself or any of your family. PS i have been using Flight Centre Robina since they first opened & will never go anywhere else

They do not push a sale, instead they are patient and answer all questions. I have booked many travels with Kat, who I would highly recommend you go and see. Kat always makes booking travel fun. She is knowledgeable, full of insight about locations, and provides a range of options without any pressure to book. You can tell by her friendly demeanour that she enjoys what she does.

Fantastic experience: We have booked multiple holidays with Kat at the Robina Flight Centre branch and have found her to be an excellent travel agent. She is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and really cares. All of this shows through in her diligent and thorough research, well informed advice and radiant positivity. The rest of the staff at the Robina office are also lovely. They really make us feel welcomed and help us build that excitement for a much needed holiday.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the customer service of this place. When I arrived there was a person outside the store with the paramedics checking BP and security around being checked nothing of urgency by the way everything was running, i was told to wait outside while this medical assistance was happening outside the store, but I understood so I waited for about 30 min , I could hear 3 staff inside were having a good time despite the medical case leaving they still did not attend me for another 15 min when I asked to one of them Ken they were very defensive and rude to me, he didn’t want to help me, he said I was yelling, such as wasting of my time of course the situation was already bad and I didn’t do anything else that what i was told but this bunch of people were clearly not wanting to work and clearly have no respect for me as a customer that by the way, I have more than 28 years working in emergency services, and they were not sad or affected as they try to play after. As a business owner i am sorry for the owner of this store having to pay wages so unfairly. I will never go back to this store and I do not recommend it while the same staff is there

Fantastic experience: Kat at Flight Centre Robina was absolutely amazing! She spent so much time helping me check out all the hotels on Koh Samui and gave me some awesome tips along the way. She made the whole process so easy and stress-free, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll definitely go back to her for my next trip, but for now, I’m just super excited to get to Thailand! :)

Negative experience: Poor Service We recently booked and paid for an Alaskan cruise departing from Vancouver through Flight Centre Gold Coast from September 17 to October 4, including return flights from Brisbane on Air Canada. The total cost was $10,556 for both of us. This price also included an additional $150 per person for flight deviations, which allowed us to fly earlier and return later. We opted for the extra cost because the original itinerary only gave us two days in Vancouver before the cruise. We decided to travel earlier and asked Jordan to arrange flights departing Brisbane on September 1, while keeping our return dates. This request was made before any flights had been assigned. Jordan booked the earlier flights but informed us there would be an extra $750 per person to depart earlier. When I questioned the cost, I was told it was the price of the flights. However, after checking the dates and prices ourselves, we found the difference was less than $50. After further discussion with Jordan, he insisted that the additional cost was required if we wanted to fly earlier. I expressed my dissatisfaction, as we were under the impression that the $150 per person we paid for flight deviations would cover the cost of flying earlier. Jordan said he would discuss the issue with his manager, but we have yet to receive any feedback, and we’ve already paid the extra $1,500. For anyone considering booking with Flight Centre, be cautious about what your package includes. We thought we had done all the necessary research, but now we feel we've been charged an extra $1,500 unnecessarily. This year marks the beginning of our commitment to traveling for 8 weeks each year. However, after this experience, we will not be returning to Flight Centre as at the end of the day, it feels that Flight Centre have done very little , apart from take our money. After giving Kiri a brief rundown of our intended trip to New York, within a few hours we received a detailed email with flight options available for our dates. She quickly worked with our interests to set up.a terrific itinerary and booked our hotels and passage on a cruise ship that met our needs as first time cruisers. Her friendly manner and professionalism were very reassuring.

Negative experience: 4 years ago we had booked our Europe holiday, for it to be cancelled by Covid. We lost a lot of money due to this. We have just rebooked our belated honeymoon, we were booked for an international flight from Brisbane to Athens but the Brisbane to Melbourne part was Domestic, so check in was a little clunky. Once we had checked in at the desk, my husband and I, we went to the gate to board when it was called to learn that we had been seated separately on the plane for the entire trip. We called our contact at the Robina Flight Centre who was very positive over the phone and advised that this can happen and there was nothing that could be done. We called the Flight centre emergency number they gave us and was told the same. The airline counter were also very unhelpful. After losing a substantial amount of money the first time we booked with Flight Centre due to COVID and now for our second attempt on trying to go on our honeymoon to be seated separately. I would not recommend or use Flight Centre again. It took me getting very upset with the airline staff for it took he resolved, which shouldn’t have been necessary to get us to be able to sit together for a 26 hour flight. Not a fond memory for what was meant to be an exciting holiday.

Negative experience: Reserved a cabin on a cruise and was told by Jordan this cabin and price would be held for 48 hours. Rang back 10 minutes later to book and was told room was gone and only ones available were $1000+ more than quoted before. Smells like BS to me. Needless to say I didn't go ahead.

Negative experience: Do NOt use Cover More Insurance through Flight Centre. ACL snapped on ski holiday on the first day of a 6 day trip. They are covering absolutely nothing from a 5k claim. Stay clear, get your own insurance. Buyer be ware.

Negative experience: I purchased my ticket from the Robina Flight Centre and was initially assisted by Ella, who later left the company. My case was transferred to Sam, but I have never met him despite visiting the branch twice. He was never available, and my numerous emails went unanswered. Even during a complex 39-hour journey across two countries, I couldn't reach him, leaving me stranded and without support. This is zero customer satisfaction. I am extremely disappointed and will never recommend Sam or the Robina Flight Centre. I have filed a complaint with customer service and will follow up. If I had to handle everything myself, why did I buy my ticket from you?

Fantastic experience: I swore after a negative experience at another Flight Centre that I would never give them my business again. I'm so glad I went into the Robina Flight Centre--I have had nothing but a positive experience. All the staff seem lovely and whilst listening to them interact with their clients, they seem to display a genuine interest in providing their client with a great holiday. I was trying to book a 7 week European holiday (visiting 7 countries), had definite dates, wanted premium economy and flying at a busy time of year. I was lucky enough to meet with Jordan Hayes who worked his magic and got us the tickets and dates, which 2 other agencies hadn't been able to do AND at price that was alot cheaper than the previous quote. He is very well travelled himself and has been so helpful with planning not only where to go but how to get there and suggestions for different things to do. He has been very patient with my constant questions and changes to plans and has always responded to messages in a timely manner. I would also like to add that he has a great sense of humor, it feels like I'm planning a trip with a friend rather than an employee.

Negative experience: We booked a 43-night trip to Europe including 2 cruises and various side trips in-between. On the positive side, our agent Kat did a good job putting together the itinerary to ensure everything lined up on the right dates. However since then, phone calls, messages and emails have been ignored. How hard can it be to respond to an email or phone message from your customers, particularly when they're travelling and need an answer? Ignoring us is just rude and incredibly disrespectful! We also paid for a cruise on the Virgin ship Resilient Lady, however Virgin cancelled due to problems in the Red Sea. Flight Centre booked the cruise via their subsidiary company My Cruises and neither company will tell us when we'll receive our refund despite being persistently asked - so we're still waiting 3 1/2 months later! Even worse, considering our friends travelling on the same cruise received their refund within 4 weeks! So, Flight Centre started well, but their poor communication and appalling customer service has let themselves and us down badly. Sadly customer service disappears once they've got your money. We take at least one overseas trip a year and this was our first booking via Flight Centre. We won't book with them again!

Despite a very busy morning in the Flight Centre I was warmly welcomed and offered a seat while waiting. Sam was not phased and searched for the options that suited my needs. I received confirmation in the afternoon and a follow-up two weeks ahead of my trip. I believe Sam is an asset to The Flight Centre group.

Negative experience: We waited at the door for over 20 minutes and not a single staff member got up to greet us. 3 other people who came in after us were greeted by staff had their details taken to be given a call back. They walked straight past us like we were invisible. Atrocious customer service. I will not be using Flight Centre at Robina again.
