Positive experience: Walking in to me was a little confusing as I didn’t know where to sit or which person I should see. I guessed there spot I should be but was called up by a staff member from my spot. I told him my needs then he stated he didn’t handle that and sent me back to where I was seated?? Finally it was my turn and received some really great advice and friendly service from the staff member. I love using the RAC but maybe a little help on entry would be a great advantage.

Fantastic experience: After getting the worst service from Flight Centre and Hello World. We tried out booking our holiday booking through RAC Travel Dianella. We meet Julie the manager and she was just amazing. We had a great chat with Julie and described what we wanted with flights and train tickets for Paris and Amsterdam. Sure we could have done it all ourselves. But just wanted to do an easy booking for everything. Julie was just the best. Such amazing service from the very first meeting. Right up to obtaining our tickets for everything. Always so very helpful with any inquiry or change we had to the booking. One of the best travel services we have ever used. Julie! You are the BEST. 100 out of 10

Negative experience: We went to make a Claim regarding saggy ceilings and damaged fence on behalf of my Mothers house and immediately the Lovely lady who was dealing with gave me over the booklet to see what is covered under without contemplating and advised as that the fence needs to be looked after really??? both fences were destroyed ages ago by storm, never bothered my Father an wasn't interested in putting a claim since he's deceased my Mother took over the policy and wanted this to be rectified as a loyal rac member only to get shafted as usual ( nothing ever is covered by rac and this is the very reason i left them and never gone back even if i was offered free insurance cover for an year, as a building Manager and been in the building industry for many years this is pure classis ) every single time I'm dealing with neighbouring fence its rac that nothing covers for them and some have had been with them for nearly 38 years this is SHAME, its amazing how they accept all and every payment but when it comes to rectifying the issue they sent me email with their booklet what is covered, we now have a house fully insured with RAC and broken fences on either side supported with metal posts so they stand straight. I strongly recommend to anyone please shop around check and don't be fool to only find out when you have to make claim its not covered with RAC you are only a no. i have witnessed many cases on daily basis that RAC doesn't cover, my latest being we pulled a wall down on boundary and rest of fence dropped from site works costumer insurance covered everything ( wasn't RAC ) and in just over 10 days chq was in mail, next door costumer RAC told him there was a wall here before this section its not covered only from the end of wall to were it had dropped he got paid. THIS IS TRUE STORY AS A LONG STANDING COSTUMER WITH PREMIUMS PAID IN FULL EVERY SINGLE YEAR THIS IS THE OUTCOME AND ITS BASED ON HOW WE GOT TREATED AS A LOYAL COSTUMER OF RAC.

Negative experience: Really bad experience 1.5hours on the phone first time. When finally got through I got through carrousel and they really didn't want to help me book a holiday 5hey could not be bothered to talk to me I pretty much got told to drive there and talk to some one.

Fantastic experience: It's hard to rate this as the Dianella branch gets 5 stars, but RAC gets 1 star. Wanted to book a stay on their 3 for 2 nights deal, but after you delved down into all the terms and conditions, I found it just to be click bait. I'm extremely disappointed. The Dianella branch really tried to help us. Also the new travel assistant was very good at doing a quote for Travel Insurance for us.

Further to this, my wallet was misplaced/stolen in a shopping centre several months ago, and despite my drivers licence, the only way the Centre could reach me was to call RAC (card in wallet),& ask them to contact me to advise me to call & collect it. Edit.. had to make a claim at beginning of 2022 and was treated like a criminal! Have cancelled my house and car insurance and cancelled my roadside assistance. Now with AAMI and very happy with my decision.. cheaper rates for the same cover !

Negative experience: I bought a new car yesterday afternoon, the model is Toyota HiAce Commuter GL. It is a 12-seat VAN. It is used by Child Care Centre to pick up and drop off children. It's past four o'clock when I left the New Town Toyota. I needed to buy insurance for the car and I was worried about the long waiting time on the phone because I had a lot of things to say, so I drove directly to this RAC service centre in Dianella. I gave all the files about the car purchase to a male staff. He was obviously a novice. Not only was there a long wait time, he made a phone call for help, then asked for help from the lady next to him, who said that they could not find the model of my car and could not give the car insurance. I was surprised, I said you could check your computer system as my business bought an identical car last year, and we have already bought the insurance for that car from your store. He then said that my car was VAN last year, and the current one is BUS, which is different. I said the car is the exact same model. He said the government license registration certificate said BUS. I said that was the verbal salutation of Toyota's staff, and you should use the salutation in your system. Then the lady named Kristie next to him calling out impatiently and rudely,”your vehicle is a Heavy Duty Bus, our RAC does not cover it”. I said that this vehicle is a 12-seat VAN for Childcare centre children, and it runs less than ten thousand kilometres per year, how can it be a heavy duty bus? There are so many this model van on the road, and ordinary car driver's license holders can drive it. How can it become a special vehicle that cannot be covered? Then Kristie shouted loudly “Are you are yelling at me? You go out”. I said I will call the RAC head office to complain about you, and she said she is not afraid and asked me to leave again. I was hurt and very angry. After leaving the RAC Dianella store, I called RAC call centre, it took about 20 minutes to successfully buy an insurance for the car! The model is of course in the RAC system, it is a very ordinary car. I had to write down the process. I hope the managers of RAC can improve the ability and quality of their employees and have an right attitude to serving customers.

Negative experience: The claim officer she is a Racism the one who hit my car sent me a claim number but because I told here I'm in leaves in 5 days she make the process very slowly one time she says he didn't make the application and then he but it on hold I called him he said (I submitted the application) so change my booking cost 400$ so they left me on choice I have to sale it in very cheap I lose they both win?
