Fantastic experience: Beach House Rentals were so accomodating from the start to the end. We booked 2 beautiful houses in Sorrento (Rosetta) & Blairgowrie (Magnificent Melbourne, Superb, Modern, contemporary beach house) for our wedding accomodation across 3 days. Jo was so comforting in assisting us with early check in to ensure we had a stress free weekend. They even left us with a kind letter wishing us well for our wedding, along with wine, slippers and treats. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Our Family spent 3 nights from Friday 29/9 until Monday 2/10. At Panorama Drive Tootgarook last year. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for 3 nights by this year again from Friday 27/9 until Monday 30/9. The property was immaculate, clean and tidy. It was a quiet location but close to town if needed which we didn’t, it had everything we wanted, a heated pool and spa, great deck area, BBQ, and an outdoor television at the pool. The rooms and kitchen /dining /living areas were perfect for our needs. The kids enjoyed the table tennis table. ( when not in the pool) We would have no problem with staying again and have already passed on details to others. The communication by the staff was prompt and clear at every stage, the welcome pack and instructions were a welcome bonus and the pool towels and dishwasher and laundry helped make our stay perfect and enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful stay at 21 Hibiscus Grove Rye. There were 14 of us staying at the property and it had everything we needed. The kids loved the Spa and all of the games provided and the adults loved the space and the pool table. The house is in a nice and quiet spot and there was plenty of parking. We would 100% stay at this property again.

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed our stay at 20 Brewster Rd It was very clean and comfortable. It had a wonderful view across the hills. A welcome basket was a lovely surprise.

Fantastic experience: We had a fabulous time at this property. One of the best things was the hosts communication, never taking more than a few minutes to reply to any questions that we had. The home itself was lovely. We spent a lot of time playing pool and table tennis and also spent heaps of time in the hot tub which was nice and hot. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Positive experience: House was super comfortable, extremely convenient and pet friendly. Just around the corner from the Portsea Pub and in a really quiet location. We were lucky to have secured it for Easter. Outdoor deck area was a great extension to the house for eating and morning yoga/qigong. Feeling of outdoors coming in with lots of light and views to garden from all rooms was lovely. We had planned that my 82 year old Mum would have the room pictured with her own ensuite, but upon check in we realised that that room was completely external to the house (and downstairs), so not suitable. (This is the reason for a 4 rather than 5 star review) (Great though for a teenage retreat and would suit that situation perfectly) The internal rooms were really lovely and we shared the well sized bathroom. Thank you very much for a great stay in a house with a positive vibe that was lovely to come home to every night.

Fantastic experience: Easter at 8 Bell Street, Blairgowrie was fabulous. Such a great home for all the family. The pool was a huge hit with the kids and accomodation was perfect for extended family. Great location, close to the front and back beaches, cafes and restaurants. We could not have asked for a better family easter holiday. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We've stayed at the apartment a few times now. It's fantastic. Lots of space, great balcony, very tidy with everything you need for a relaxed family holiday. It's walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, front beach, back beach. Once you park your car, you won't need it again until you leave Sorrento.

Fantastic experience: Re: BEAUTIFUL BELL IN BLAIRGOWRIE We are a family of 6 with two whippets that stayed for 10 days after Christmas. During our stay, we had a number of guests visit. This immaculately presented place was perfect – a home away from home! It is located on a quiet street that is perfect for walking: 10 min front beach, 25 min (3 min drive) to Bridgewater Bay rock pool, and 15 min to shops. The three living zones allowed everyone to spread out as some played a game of pool, others quietly read, and some sat around listening to music and chatting. The kitchen was supplied with condiments to get you started, which was helpful as we cooked daily. The service from the agents/owners was attentive; I questioned some kitchen items that I felt were essential, and within a few hours, the items were delivered. Similarly, on a Public holiday, I sent an email at 5:45pm because the heater in the spa wasn't working, and the following morning, a service person was sent to fix the electrical heating issue, and we were able to enjoy the spa a day later : ) I highly recommend this property and Beach House Rentals!

Fantastic experience: We just left Sorrento after a most amazing week with family at our favourite Kerferd Avenue spa house. It is such a family friendly house, we absolutely love it. Beach House rentals who we booked through are terrific to deal with from the minute you book until you depart. All the information is clear and given in advance. Any issues during your stay you can just call them and let them know and nothing is a bother. We have booked with them previously and will do so again. Highly recommend. Thank you team.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing property! We were in awe of the quality of the home and its furnishings as soon as we walked in. The owners have created an absolutely luxurious and beautiful house. From the Sheridan towels to the heated spa and pool, it is stunning! Everything you need is there. Table tennis, pool table, all you need for a fun day at the beach and the comfort of beautifully appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. I cannot recommend this home highly enough. Absolutely amazing! It was well stocked, particularly with glassware and crockery. It was in a great position to shopping and eateries. A terrific choice.

Fantastic experience: I have stayed almost yearly at the beautiful 28 Timaru Close Sorrento since 2016, it has become a tradition for my girlfriends and I to get away during winter and also for my birthday. This home exceeds all expectations and the owner has styled it so wonderfully that I just enjoy coming back. The house has everything you want and need for a getaway. Fantastic experience: Georgous super cute beach house. Quiet location where you can still hear the ocean. Walking distance to an award winning distillery I wish we had made it to. Beautiful decor and clearly lots of thought went into making this abode feel special and everything a guest could possibly need. Fantastic experience: My family and I recently stayed at the lovely Cotier Cottage in Tootgarook. We were so happy with our stay! There was so much backyard for the kids to play in and the house had everything we needed. The location was absolutely perfect... walking distance to a cafe and a super short car ride to the beach. We will definately love to return for another getaway soon!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place for families! The games rooms downstairs suit all ages and the outdoor spa is a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. The house is spacious with separate living areas upstairs and downstairs, inside and outside. The recently updated and well supplied kitchens and bathrooms add to the enjoyment of our stay. Only a short walk to the beautiful Tyrone foreshore and close to the Blairgowrie shops. We loved our stay in Hibiscus.

Negative experience: Cancelled 3 days before our stay!!! Very disappointed, had a weekend booked for months in advance and for no apparent reason a decision was made to cancel our booking. Very unreliable and would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: A great weekend away. We were away for a 13yo birthday party weekend. Although the weather was not great, the 6 X 13yos had a great time with their skateboards (and helmets), table tennis, movies and fun in the yard... While us parents managed to somewhat chill out upstairs! A short drive to jetty jumping and tree surfing at Arthur's Seat made it a weekend to remember.

Fantastic experience: Could not have enjoyed a better weekend at Grosvenor Court Portsea. The house was perfectly equipped, comfortable and clean. It has ample space for a few friends or a whole big family. The location being a stones throw from Portsea pub and the beautiful walks along the entire beach front to Sorrento at our doorstep was a huge bonus. We had a beautiful roaring fire, enjoyed a bbq on the back deck, and lots of cups of tea on the sofa in the living room. Will definitely book again for an easy, comfortable and memorable stay.

Fantastic experience: We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at 639 Melbourne Road Sorrento. The location is in a lovely area, very close to the beach, lots of great walks and set far back from the road so it is very quiet. The house was just perfect for three couples, but having a separate very large bunk house which could fit at least 6 more means it would be a brilliant house for a couple of families to share. The fit out of the house is gorgeous, with two living areas and the bedrooms separate, which means if you want to go to bed early you won't be disturbed (loved the bed linen!) The back yard is well done and has a great area for outdoor entertaining. And to top it off, there is even and fully fitted out office pod if you need to get some work done! We will definitely be back!

Negative experience: I booked a property in Sorrento for 10 guests, and yesterday received an email (2 weeks out from our stay) stating that the owner of the property had cancelled my booking with no explanation as to why. I have since left a voicemail and sent an email requesting an explanation and call back, and still have not received either of these. Whichever property I (hopefully) find to stay in, I will first be checking with Stayz that it is not managed by Beach House Rentals.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to give a quick review about our amazing stay at Michael's Skandia holiday home. Everything about it made the stay so enjoyable from the aesthetic, the decor and the convenience to the town. We are had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks again.

Negative experience: unbelievably poor service. booking that I had made months in advance, with all the goings on with covid, was cancelled with in a month of the check in date for no reason. all I got was an email asking for an account to refund to. no attempt was made to re accomodate our group of 10 into another property. the person I spoke to couldn't understand why I, her client, was upset with the situation, and even said she had better things to do than try to help me find new a new place. I could not believe the absolute arrogance, complete disregard for our inconvenience and lack of compassion or even a shred of an attempt at decent customer service. absolutely pathetic

Negative experience: extremely unreliable, confirmed our booking and took a deposit then cancelled after 42 hours in an attempt to keep half of our money. very poor customer service skills and very rude throughout the whole transaction.

Negative experience: Customer service at Maccas is better. Made me feel like theyre doing me a favour when i asked for a refund after they cancelled my booking even though thats exactly whats required of them. Also lied to me saying that I had to cancel the booking from my end to receive a refund when in reality airbnb instructs customers to let the host cancel if theyre unable to accomodate me anymore in order for me to receive a full refund (otherwise if i cancel it i only get 50% back)....after showing them this they FINALLY refunded me strange that they dont know airbnbs policies yet.... also a tip for management: dont lecture customers when theyre frusturated that they now have to wait 15 days for a refund to book another place because you cancelled their trip 2 days after confirming it. Fix your attitude when speaking to customers especially when Im being respectful the whole time. Only giving you 1stars because I ended up getting a refund. I've never left a review to any business before but this was genuinely shocking.

Fantastic experience: 18 Lucien Road was the perfect place to stay for Christmas. So much room in the house as we didn't have much good weather the areas in the house fit us all comfortably. Everything you need in the house is provided and location is very central to surrounding attractions and shopping areas. Beach house rentals were great to deal with, very responsive and accomodating. We will be back.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service of beach house rentals, especially Greg. I booked a house for my friends and I for it to get cancelled by Beach House Rentals. On the listing there was no information regarding the reason that they decided to cancel my booking. I would like to share Greg’s response to my email asking when the money will come back into my account: WE REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY. I DO NOT KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE BACK IN YOUR ACCOUNT. NO FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERED INTO I do not recommend using Beach House Rentals for booking you’re stay.

Fantastic experience: 29 John Bertram Drive was a great house for 8 (3 families) - very homely, modern enough without being sterile. Lovely dunes and bush outlook. Easy walk to front and back beaches and store. A few more dishwasher tablets were all that was lacking! Would return.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time we have stayed at Foam Ave and we love it. Perfect location, the house has everything you need. The open fire is fantactic is winter and the pool amazing in summer.

Fantastic experience: Glen and her team at BHR were wonderful to deal with. WE stayed at 11 Skelton Place in Sorrento, we were 8 adults and 3 toddlers, we loved the location, right opposite the shore front and only a short walk to the main street. The kids loved playing on their bikes on the lawn. We loved the open plan kitchen and lounge layout which included a nice big table which we enjoyed sitting round for dinner and a game of cards. We spent most of the weekend indoors as it was cold but it would be a great place to enjoy in summer also. Very relaxing, thank you!

Fantastic experience: perfect size for a weekend get away! super clean! huge bathroom and shower, as well as heating to keep warm! and pink fish had a bbq which was perfect since all the restaurants were booked out !
