Negative experience: Not very impressed with the service shown by the team leader who is never interested in following up with things like checking to see if transfers were available for our cruise, or returning phone calls, saying it went to voicemail but no voicemail was left. We have booked through another agent who left us in the hands of the team leader. If this is how you treat your customers who book and pay thousands of for 2 months of holiday flights and cruises I’m not so sure about any return business the first agent was always able to be contacted or returned calls emailed.

Negative experience: Well... Where do I begin we booked a Egypt, Iceland and Dubai trip with Flight Centre Knox. PAID IN FULL Our agent left and our case was given to someone else 3 weeks upon leaving we hadn't heard a word from anyone at the team so I decided to come in and touch base. a day after that meeting we find out our Egypt tour had been CANCELLED MONTHS AGO. We were assured the issues had been solved and a "private" "romantic" experience had been organised for us.... Here is where the problems begin 1. No one told us Egypt required VISA 2. The agent on site had no idea on our situation and required payment of $350 AUD EACH 3. were were told the "Felucca" overnight boat ride would be a "bad idea", "cold" and "boring To remedy this situation we were asked to pay an EXTRA 280 USD each.... 4. Our tour guide had NO IDEA how long we were staying on our tour and wasnt event instructed to take care of us for the remaining 3 nights at the end 5. Our previous booked had something on every day... this NEW "private" tour had NOTHING BOOKED FOR 3 FULL DAYS 6. Our original tour we were supposed to go our to the Red sea which we were told "wasn't possible" ..... however the other couple on the tour who booked through ON the Go and not Flight Centre WERE DOING IT ANYWAY While these issues were happening we didn't get s response from flight centre FOR A WEEK! with being over 1k - 2k out of pocket because of Flight Centres "Attempt" at rectifying their own stuff up. I then spent over 2 weeks talking to flight centre Knox and flight centres complaints department.... They then depicted that any money spent during our tour was our own choice (regardless of the obvious Stuff Up by the store and On the Go) They then offered out of "good faith" a $300 flight centre gift card in "good faith" I have never been so disappointed and FRUSTRATED at a company for their complete lack of care towards a customer. $300 GIFT CARD for almost a 2k stuff up is a slap in the face. Don't travel with flight centre. Just don't. Call the tour companies directly and they will take care of you directly. We travelled half way across the world for Flight Centre to drop us like we didn't exist.

Fantastic experience: Shae was so very caring and patient when helping my elderly parents book their emergency flight. Negative experience: Terrible service when you want change or cancel tickets. I been accident with my leg so I can’t driving and I couldn’t go to holiday with my plan so I need to cancel and change another date for my ticket butI rang for flight center and they told me need to drive to store for change the ticket . What they thinking???

Fantastic experience: I booked a flight to Thailand with Qantas as jetstar is unreliable but ended up using jetstar on the return trip so requested more legroom which I paid extra for but the return flight was changed (unreliable jetstar) and I ended up in a standard seat with no legroom. Also requested gluten free meals but received gluten meals each way which I couldn't eat and was told that they didn't have that info. I went hungry for 8½ hours. Besides all that the booking process was pleasant. Wont fly with jetstar again.

Positive experience: Hi, I would like to provide feedback regarding my experience booking a trip to Brisbane and Port Douglas sometime in June this year with Kimberly. She was efficient in providing information whether it's face to face or through the email. However, there were a few issues which had marred our holidays. At the point of booking , I had reminded her several times that we had to have twin beds. At both the Brisbane hotel(Oak Festival) and The Regal at Port Douglas, we were told no such instruction was given. This resulted in delays as the hotels had to look for staff to reconfigure the beds. At the Regal, the housekeeping staff were not available the day of arrival and we had to endure a mostly sleepless night for the first night. Next, the trip to Port Douglas by coach transfer was only booked for me but not my travelling companion. This resulted in the whole bus waiting for us as we had to confirm the facts and purchase another ticket. When I called Kimberly to check, her explanation was that somehow her computer wasn't updated with the new info(that there were two pax instead of one). We were also really anxious as the bus could have been full and my travelling mate would not be able to make it to Port Douglas that night! Thank you for your time.
Hi Dawn, sorry to see you're not happy with your experience. To provide a little more insight, depending on the room type booked, bedding can be subject to request and availability at the property, at the time of checkin. On your transfer, this does sound very strange, if your co-traveller was also booked on the same booking, then the transfer will have applied for both - however if this was a solo booking, then the bedding and transfer will be based on 1 person.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had an amazing experience with Chris at Flight Centre Knox. The planning of our next trip was virtually through email and phone as we were quite busy with work, kids, life, etc. Chris is an extremely good listener and attentive whilst very prompt and courteous with his considered and thoughtful communication. As such, with his guidance we made the timely bookings and ensured we locked in the best prices - which we did, as the next day the airfares increased by about 35%. I will definitely be making my next trip booking with Chris and will also recommend his services to our family and friends. Negative experience: DO NOT BUY VOUCHERS AS GIFTS FOR ANYONE My parents purchased me and my new wife a voucher of $1000 as a wedding day gift. We went to buy tickets to go to Perth but they almost doubled the cost of the price. We ended up using it to hire a car after just paying for our tickets to fly and we played $2000 for a hire care with Avis plus $30 a day for 2 baby seats. I could have hired the car for $1000. This is disgusting and should be illegal if it isn't already ESSENTIALLY MY MOTHER AND FATHER JUST HANDED 1K TO FLIGHT CENTRE FOR MY WEDDING. I am furious. SUCH A FOUL ACT.

Negative experience: Worst place to go into as of they don't need any business. Planning on a one week trip to South Korea in November and went there to check what packages they got? Just to get told by the girl sitting, it's too close to plan and they don't have any deals and told to go online. Just assuming why do you even have a shop there. Might as well shut it and run online.

Fantastic experience: I have gone into a few flight centres but when I went to Knox and missed the closing time, 2 lovely staff spoke to me for 5 min out of their personal time outside the store. I called and made and appt with Kim who was one of the lovely staff, she was kind and listened to what I needed from this holiday. I sent Kim a lengthy email about some questions that I forgot to ask at the appt time- she thanked me for my email and answered every question. I have not been overseas for 5 yrs and she made me feel comfortable and knew what I wanted from this family holiday. Thank you Kim!

Negative experience: From the first time I stepped into this establishment I felt uncomfortable. You stand there for ages waiting for someone to say we can't help you, you have to make an appointment. There were no customers in at all and 6 staff and I said I've never been overseas and was confused and would appreciate some direction. I was told no you need to make an appointment to even talk to us for 5 minutes, so I make an appointment. I turned up for my appointment and the place had its doors closed and they were closed 35 minutes earlier, so I didn't want to come back. They were all very rude.

We do recommend appointments at the moment to ensure the team can dedicate time in their day to chat with you, as agents are in such high demand. Once they've finished a consult, there is still the legwork of the booking to do, calling suppliers, booking flights, making payments, tailoring packages, invoicing, and also working with customers via email & phones, so the majority of the booking work is done without a customer in the store. We've contacted the store to followup regarding the opening hours, and are sorry about this! The team would love to look after your travels!
Negative experience: Phoned to make an appointment to discuss travel plans. After holding forever was told sorry we are very busy. Go into a store to make an appointment and clunk they hung up maybe : thank you for the opportunity leave your details and we’ll return your call would be better customer service. Won’t be doing any business with flight centre with this attitude

Negative experience: Tried calling two days in a row, both times I was on hold for ages until the message said no-one was available and please come into the shop to make an appointment. I went to another local agent.

Fantastic experience: Normally I don't use a travel agent but I decided to give it a go this time. I would like to thank Gillian Moon for always so helpful and even go the distance by giving me suggestions on what to do as we will be having layovers. I'm not sure why there're people who complained but it's expected that the consultants will be busy when the borders were opening up. You just have to be patient and book your time at the store. I have seen Gillian twice and both times her colleagues were very friendly and helpful while Gillian was busy with the customer. Will definitely use them for my future trips.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in your services. No online way to book an appointment. Rang multiple times and couldn’t get through to anyone. Pretty much only way to book an appointment is to come in to their store which is only open during normal working hours making it impossible for someone working full time to get in. Also shouldn’t have to go in to make an appointment. Also, no help with booking me with another store since they are were full. Also wondering why gift vouchers can not be used online and you have to go in store to use them

We'd love to be able to answer every single phone call straight away, but unfortunately with such a high demand for travel right now due to the rapid re-emergence of travel, and limited staffing resources due to the impact of Covid, we are finding that demand is outstripping our ability to service every customer.
We do have stores that are open on the weekends, looks like your closest to Knox would be Flight Centre Eastland, who are open 9-5 on Saturdays - we hope this helps :)

Negative experience: No answering the phone no opening the door although you need an app to book so you can talk with them I still don't know how you will be able to book this app. Anyway I called chadstone flight center they answered straight away and I have my app with them today.

Negative experience: The lady we dealt with was very good the first visit. Next time she put into our schedule a cancelled flight. Which later on, sent automated advices re gate changes to a flight not being taken. Two emails continually came to one participant and none to the other! The final flight that superceded the cancelled flight, had no attendant messages at all. This incurred a trip to the airport the day prior, to assure us it was booked. Quite annoying. We won't be using Flight Centre again.

Positive experience: No drop ins, couldn't work out where the door was. Need to make an appointment to see anyone. Someone came to the "door" and helped us as her next appointment wasn't due yet. Not sure I would go back, no longer welcoming, having the door shut would turn people off.

Negative experience: Went in for a quick enquiry and they refused to even help me. They said they were booked out but there were 3 consultants sitting there chatting away with eachother and not doing any work.

Positive experience: They were helpful in booking my flight but terrible at after sale service. I had issues with my boarding pass being sent to their email and it wasn't forwarded to me in time for me to use it. Even though they close at 5.30pm according to the flight centre website and Westfield knox's website, I was left on hold every time I called from 5-5.30 until I ended up having to leave a message because they were 'out of hours'. Their in person service is wonderful. But other than that I was rather let down.
This is disappointing to see. I will ensure this is escalated to be addressed internally. Thanks for passing this feedback on.

Fantastic experience: Staff were friendly and helpful when I rang. Communication was clear and straight forward. Tickets and the points redemption were all taken care of smoothly on the phone, even though it had been many months since they had done a similar transaction.

He is very meticulous to make sure that we have a great itineraries according to our preferences. Jay is always reliable and prompt in answering our queries either via phone or email. We booked our grand european tour in 2018 and our South American tour in September 2019. Both trips were amazing and spectacular. Thanks to the top effort of Flight Centre Knox especially to Jay Matthews. We’ll definitely book our next holiday through Flight Centre with the Assistance of Jay.

Fantastic experience: Jay and Chloe have helped me book a few trips now, but most recently my upcoming trip to Japan. They have listened to exactly what I want, and with their knowledge of Japan (having both been there several times), I know I’m going to see everything I have on my list. This will be my fourth holiday booked through Flight Centre Knox and I cannot recommend Jay and Chloe highly enough!
