Fantastic experience: I booked with Carl last year and he was great even with the back and forward working out the best flight. We are returning to Thailand this year and we contacted Carl again. He is professional, honest, explains everything and most of all has patience. I finally paid on quote number 6. I would highly recommend and will be back next year :-)

Fantastic experience: As someone who travels to NZ for snow holidays a lot I know the prices like the back of my hand. I decided to give Flight centre a go this year to see if I could save a few dollars. Boy am I glad I did!! Molly Pitkin was an ABSOLUTE CHAMPION!! Got me an awesome deal for me and my two teenage kids that saved me over $600 if I were to do it myself. EVERYTHING went to plan - no hiccups at all. Last minute changes - no problem, Molly dealt with it and made the changes that suited our needs. Holiday was fantastic and I will be back to see Molly and her crew for Japan 24!! Thank you Molly, you now have a regular customer :)

Fantastic experience: Mark K has been my travel agent for the last 20 years. It is true to say that people buy from people. Mark has helped me and my parents a lot, he goes out of way to ensure we are looked after. My parents both travel with wheelchairs, he has been so diligent in ensuring all is set up and they are not inconvenienced. He has a lot of attention to detail, so I don't have to worry about anything as we travel many times a year. Mark is excellent at what he does, he really cares for his customers, and I look forward to booking more flights with him.

Negative experience: Found FJ rude and condescending. Went in asking for abit of information my trip I booked in Dec. Showed him some hotels I’ve found and asked if he could also have a look so we could compare prices or see if he could find somewhere in a better location for around the same price. He typed into his computer Paris and then told me straight away there was nothing (he didn’t make any refinements just scrolled up and down) He then wanted me to book straight away (the place I found) as well as booking travel insurance when I only went in to have a chat about options. He quoted me $700 travel insurance and when I told him I was quoted $300 with my bank he then told me banks are bad to book travel insurance with but didn’t tell me why or elaborate on his opinion. Felt pressured to book and when I had questions he was condescending and rude. He then told me about the booking fee (which I knew about) and told me “we don’t work for free”. So he wanted to book accomodation for me (which I found) then charge me $50 to book it lol. 0 customer service skills.

Fantastic experience: June 2021. During these COVID times has confirmed the need for a good agent / adviser and we certainly have that with FJ from Flight Centre Zetland. He helped us book a recent trip to Port Douglas including flights, accommodation and day tours, using his recent personal travel experience. Everything went to plan and when we needed to make some last minute changes FJ was there to help problem solve in a very time sensitive manner. It felt at times like he was getting us much joy out of our holiday as our family were. We highly recommend FJ for his enthusiasm, travel knowledge and his willingness to go above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: This is the second trip we have booked using FJ, during these difficult times with borders closing and flight cancellations, FJ has done a fantastic job finding flights with great seats and accommodation with the view we preferred. DEC 22 FJ has done it again our trip to Peppers Blue on Blue Magnetic Island was amazing. Our view from a first-floor apartment overlooked the pool, the marina, the bay and then the mountains. Fantastic experience: My travel agent was Mark and he really assisted me and helped me to book my 3 month trip. I was travelling solo so it was my first big trip, he eliminated any worries I had and the whole trip has been so smooth!

Negative experience: Poor Service, Poor Consultancy - Booked a family holiday to Port Douglas, Flights, Accommodation and Car Hire. This was trip was to use credits that we had through the COVID lockdown. Got to Port Douglas, went to pick up the car only to be told that we had to pay an extra $823. Very disappointed as we were under the assumption that everything was pre paid and ready to go. Very deceiving Flight Centre, this will be our last trip with your brand. Hello World for us in future!

Negative experience: Upon arrival, FJ had the biggest attitude and did not want to assist with making a booking/planning our itinerary. I had a browse online myself for decent flight packages and told him about it and asked if he could find cheaper alternatives. He then acted as if he was the one that found those flights and was so rude. He didn’t ask a single question as what we wanted to do and a plan of where we wanted to go. He told us that flight centre doesn’t do rail passes and doesn’t organise that but when you go online there’s direction on overseas rail passes. How can you work in a customer service role with 0 customer service?

Negative experience: UPDATE: flight centre customer relations have informed me that "we signed of on the deal so they are not liable." I completely agree!! I never blamed these muppets for me not checking the plans with a fine tooth comb. I merely argue that anyone who uses a travel agent is obviously to busy to check every little detail and that you pay the extra cost so that when you give them a request for your honey moon I.e. 5 days 5 nights.. not $3k for a room We slept in for 6 hours.. then 4 days.. that is incompetence on a systemic level. Absolute insanity!!! I would give 0 stars if possible. Fj and flight centre sold my new wife and I a honeymoon in the Maldives. Told us one thing when we arrived are told another. Unable to cancel or back out as we had already arrived but essentially lied blatantly to us. Don't trust these greasy car sales men. They are garbage taking advantage of unsuspecting and trusting people. Absolute disgrace. Don't trust them. I am selling all my shares in these predators praying on the happiness of others. Absolute disgrace. No wonder flight centre shares are crashing. Mismanagement and unreliable service. Better of asking for a trip from the tooth fairy. More realistic expectations in that sense. Thanks for setting our expectations then destroying them and our week long plans for our honey moon. Not like we're going to live with this terrible experience for the rest of our lives. Shame on you. Absolutely disgusting

Fantastic experience: Arranged a holiday in the USA and with the assistance of FJ at Flight Centre everything went extremely well. Flights and accomodation and one transfer all went well and the choice of United airlines proved to be an excellent one as they were great also.

Fantastic experience: FJ arranged my partner and I the perfect holiday to the Whitsunday Islands, incorporating fantastic activities and ample time to relax. He recommended the Mirage Whitsundays in Airlie Beach and upgraded our room to a top level floor, which had panoramic views of the pool and ocean. It was magnificent! In the second part of our trip, he booked us into Beach Club in Hamilton Island. This is the ultimate place to relax. This accommodation also had perfect views of the ocean. FJ recommended two tours: The Great Barrier Reef full-day tour and the Whitehaven Beach half day tour. These experiences were memorable and offered a range of activities at each location. Thank you, FJ, your expertise was invaluable!

Negative experience: I felt inspired to book a solo ski vacation to New Zealand for my birthday this year and decided to go with Flight Centre in Zetland after reading a positive review of a family trip that was organised by this particular branch to the same destination. It was an easy decision to make and felt like fate. Upon arrival I was rudely ignored at the entrance of the store where I waited patiently for quite some time for somebody to acknowledge my existence. Eventually my presence was acknowledged and I was offered some service and attention by one of the other male staff members, but not before being obviously passed over by another one of the male travel agents situated at the front of the store. I felt obliged to express politely “I don’t mind who helps me” in order to feel more welcome in the store. My travel agent Mark initially seemed supportive of my travel plans going through the regular processes an agent would when booking a holiday, then after sometime he lost interest in my itinerary, I had to call the store 2 or 3 days later to check on the progress of the organisation of my trip and he effectively had done nothing to move forward with my itinerary. He mentioned he himself would be travelling to NZ for 4 days and will endeavour to look into my itinerary when he got back and then didn’t bother to contact me back the day he arrived back in the office with a progress report. I called back again first thing this morning to follow up and now he has taken a sick day! I decided to go with another agent to avoid paying up the nose for his tardiness and am feeling slightly resentful of his neglect. I also had a negative experience with one of the other male agents who worked at the same branch when I called in to check up on the progress of my itinerary a few days ago.. Before I made the phone call I was writing an e-mail to another male colleague of mine of the name of Kim so his name was fresh in my mind. When somebody finally answered the phone I accidentally asked for “Kim” instead of Mark. An honest mistake. I laughed and explained where I believe my error came from, then the male agent, of Asian background, made some offensive comment inferring that I was promiscuous and that I may have been confusing the names of men that I had met on a Saturday night!! I was shocked and offended. I felt that this comment was extraordinarily judgemental and inappropriate, not to mention highly unprofessional! I was courteous and polite the whole time I dealt with these people and I was treated very poorly in the process. I will not be going back to this branch ever again. They have lost my trust. I now have Yoland helping me from another branch and she will be looking into my requests right away and plans to have everything booked for me by this afternoon. I have learnt a lot from this experience. I will no longer wait around when I know that I am having a less than satisfactory experience. Next time I will pull the plug earlier and look out for my best interests. I now am paying double for my airfares due to Mark’s negligence and that is quite frankly unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: I recently travelled to Hawaii with two children aged under 5 during the height of the Omicron first wave. Negotiating the requirements for entry into the US and return to Australia was daunting. My travel consultant FJ provided excellent assistance, and was frequently updating me with any changes in process. Whereas previously I would have organised a trip such as this without the assistance of a travel agent, I was extremely glad to have had FJ's help, and intend to use FJ and Flight Centre again for future trips.

Fantastic experience: Throughout the pandemic FJ at Flight Centre has provided absolutely top notch personalised service. When my flight back to Australia was cancelled by the Oz Govt's reduction in overseas arrival quotas, he had me booked on another flight within a day. He's phoned me overseas numerous times to keep me updated and ensured that through all the stresses of international travel I was never left in the lurch. So reassuring to have someone so on top of things keep in contact, when airlines and governments are so unreliable. Fantastic experience: We had an absolutely fabulous trip to Cairns! FJ was brilliant and professional from the moment we booked to the very end coming home. Fantastic experience: My husband and I loved our honeymoon on the gold coast and hamilton island that was booked by FJ- we really enjoyed the day trips he organised for us to the great barrier reef and whitehaven beach. FJ did a great job organising everything from flights to accommodation and was very professional and lovely to deal with.

Fantastic experience: We booked a holiday on Hamilton Island with FJ. We hadn't been there before but FJ had so he was able to tell me all about it and suggest tours etc. A few weeks before our trip he got in touch to let me know to book restaurants, tours and buggy hire so we wouldn't miss out when we arrived. He rang a few days before we left and then again when we got home. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Fantastic experience: We booked a trip with the consultant FJ for a holiday last July but unfortunately with Covid this had to change, FJ & Flight Centre have been exceptional in their professional with all our dealings, he even contacted me prior to leaving to ask what our plans were while in Palm Cove & suggested a trip that he had recently done. Fantastic experience: Luvena was amazing in putting our trip together as there were 10 people with different requirements. When Qantas cancelled out flights twice, Luvena managed to reschedule our itinerary twice with little stress to us.

Fantastic experience: I had a flight cancel due to COVID and was given a flight credit. I went to visit Luvena at the Zetland branch who made a few calls and I was given full cash refund. Luvena updated me and kept in touch every so often. Great customer service and will be using her for any future flights!
