Fantastic experience: Thank you for this amazing day Sebastian and Miguel. It is a great offer that you can visit Uluru from Alice Springs. It is a very long drive but it is definitly worth! We got a lot of interesting information about the culture and the nature in the outback.

Negative experience: Had x2 trips with these guys. Sadly failed to impress. Driver on 1st day didn't rock up until 40minutes after he was supposed to meet us with a lame excuse he was washing vehicle and had lost track of time. Personally he I think he'd had a skinfull and slept in, as he was red in the face, driving eratically right up behind people, harassing them and mumbling to himself. Second day a different driver transferred us on same bus as his day trippers...which was fine ...except for the fact that he took us with them to their lunch destination rather than leaving us at our hotel.. ..(Note that he stopped in the lay-by adjacent to our hotel for 10mins to swap drivers and at this point we said to him "oh that's our hotel.. just let us off us here".. which he agreed to)... but he drove off with us anyway.. leaving us to struggle back with our luggage in the sweltering heat‍♂️ Patrick your passive aggressive reply says it all !

Fantastic experience: We did several tours with Emu Run while in Alice Springs - 1 day Palm Valley, 1 day West MacDonnell Ranges, Desert Park transfer with entry, Alice Springs pickup from Double Tree by Hilton with BarBQ sunset dinner at Uluru and drop off to Sails in the Desert, Ayers Rock. All tours were most enjoyable, great guides, good value.

Fantastic experience: My elderly parents, Trev and Barb, just returned to Newcastle and could not speak more highly of the team at Emu Run Experience, in particular, Yad. The heat really affected them, but Yad did everything to make them comfortable and they enjoyed the experience immensely. Fantastic experience: My wife and I booked Emu Run for a bus ride from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock resort followed by a return trip several days later, and also for a 1 day West MacDonnell Ranges tour departing from Alice Springs. I would highly recommend this tour company. We planned our itinerary several months in advance, and staff kept in regular email contact with us. Buses are on time. Drivers and the tour guide we had were all excellent.

Negative experience: The things we saw were great, the information as well. It was just not enough time, especially because every single person was picked up and dropped off at a different location. I asked to be driven directly to Woolys, because I didn't drink anything for 5h, but that wasn't possible and I was dropped off last there. The water provided was disgusting and too warm. Not drinkable. Lunch was really late, everyone was starving until then. If it wasn't for that price I wouldn't complain, but with that money I would have expected better.

Negative experience: Did this tour in a bus with no air-conditioning. 35-36 degree outside. 40-45 degree inside. Not pleasant. Stopped for a 40 min lunch break at restaurant that takes 40min to cook. Needless to say no lunch time had. Would recommend looking at other tours. Drivers were good however, thanks for their knowledge and driving. Unfortunately the one star is for the lack of comfort and adequate time for lunch..

Negative experience: The Air Conditioner wasn’t functioning during the tour which made the trip uncomfortable. My elderly mother stiffened considerably with the heat and lack of air flow Lunch break/Time was insufficient (40 mins) By the time we were seated and ordered the kitchen had insufficient time to prepare our meal’s ending with our party missing out on lunch. Driver/Guide was pleasant and informative but I would not recommend this tour company

Fantastic experience: Joined the half day tour of Uluru cultural experience and sunset BBQ. Our guide Yad amazing, professional, and made the trip so enjoyable. Had a lovely relaxing time, and got to see some amazing views.

Fantastic experience: We started this trip with a pickup at Discovery park at 0715. We were the last pick up so immediately drove on to the highway. Charlie, our driver started really informative about the trip, nature and tourism in and around Alice Spring. The bus was half full so we all had a two seater, perfect for snoozing during the first km. During the ride Charlie kept us informed about the surroundings and her experiences as a driver which was really informative, fun and nice to hear. The coach was comfortable, not bumpy, there was a working emergency toilet on board and the temperature was really comfortable. After 2 hours our first stop was at Erldunda roadhouse for some breakfast, tea and a toiletstop where we left at 0945. At 1220 we arrived in Yulara where Charlie went off the coach to sleep during the afternoon and Yad the guide, brought us to the city center so we could have lunch by ourselves. At 1330 we drove from Yulara to Uluru NP. We had a couple stops, drove around Uluru and Yad told us a lot of interesting information about the culture, history and geological details of this special area which was really informative. After this we had a stop at the cultural centre from 1615 to 1700. We had plenty of time to have a drink and buy some souvenirs. At 1710 we were at the barbecue area where we enjoyed the sunset until 1835. On our way back through Uluru we picked up some other people and at 1907 we were on our way to Alice Springs where we arrived safely at 0015. A long but perfect day

Negative experience: At the end of the tour, we were not taken to our hotel but were forced to be dropped off at another hotel. We walked back to our hotel late at night.

Fantastic experience: It was a great day. We were picked up on time and enjoyed a wonderful day seeing a lot of the west Mcdonalds. Our Chilean guide was a great driver and fun into the bargain and knowledgeable. Will certiainly go with EMU again.

Fantastic experience: We went on a few tours run by Emu Run and loved them all. However, the tour led by Bluey to the West Mac Donnell ranges was a once in a life time experience. His stories and knowledge of the area and explorers was crazy. I know SO much about John Flynn now! Ask me anything!! And what an amazing story it is. And the in depth story he told about John McDouall Stuart and the attempts he made to get to Darwin. Oh my goodness. Thank you, Bluey. I loved every single minute of your tour. Seriously. Fantastic experience: Miguel was great! He was thoughtful and attentive and the schedule flowed nicely. He communicated well about time and there were always restrooms at about every stop. Good value.

Fantastic experience: Two weeks ago, I went on two Emu Run Experiences. One tour was the 1 Day West MacDonell Ranges and the other tour was the 1 Day tour from Alice Springs to Uluru and return. Both these tours are exceptional, worth going on. Emu Run are very professional, the drivers and guides are helpful and friendly and make you feel as you have known them for years. They both knew so much about the places we visited and full of information. Both tours were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Emu Run for any tours and if I go back to Alice Springs I will definitely go on more of their tours.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful time in a day tour guided by Yad a qualify and experience driver, guide, cook and do it all. He is very patience with everyone and on schedule to ensure we don't miss out our travel experience. Very knowledgeable and always story behind those sigh seeing. Fantastic experience: We went on the Uluru & Sunset BBQ Tour. Emu Run Experience we're a very professional company to deal with. We were picked up on time from Ayers Rock Resort and driven in comfort on the bus to our vantage point. Waiting for us on our arrival was one very sumptuous "Aussie" BBQ, drinks and bubbly to toast the Uluru sunset. The guides and our chef James could not do enough to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed this once in a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend this Emu Run Expeience tour. Fantastic experience: We had the Uluru Sunset One Day tour. What an experience!!! We had the most amazing guide Yad, who made our day so informative and fun. His time management skills were impeccable making sure that we got to see the sunset at its very best without rushing. Plus he cooks a pretty good steak too! The BBQ meal was sumptuous. To eat it right in front of Uluru was very special. The sunset itself was magical to say the very least. The bus was spacious and comfortable albeit the toilet didn’t work.

Fantastic experience: My partner Jay and I spent an amazing 6 days with Emu Run tours,in a combination of shared group and perl tours ,covering Alice Springs,Palm Valley,West Macdonnell Ranges,Kings Canyon and Uluru.Tour guide Bluey,a local legend just blew(!) us away with his encyclopaedic knowledge of the history,geology and ecology of the region,and Fillippe kept us fully entertained and informed during our personal tour of Kings Canyon and Uluru.I couldn't recommend Emu Run highly enough!

Fantastic experience: While travelling in Australia in April 2024 I joined Emu Run Experience for two tours departing from Alice Springs. One was the Uluru and sunset tour with BBQ and the other the West MacDonnell Ranges tour the day after. Both tours were great with kind, organized and professional guides that were safe drivers. The food during the tours was good, too. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable guide Yad gave us interesting information on our Uluru tour. Great bbq at Uluru. Driver Miguel was a good driver who got us to Uluru and back to Alice Spring safely and without incident.

Negative experience: Uluru and Kata-Tjuta are incredible, and seeing them is once in a lifetime. I was very disappointed by the tour. The tour guide was incredibly racist when introducing overseas tourists to First Nations Australia. For example, "oh up that road is towards where Albert Namatjira lived...he went to jail for leaving rum on the back seat of his car. Aborigines have problems with alcohol here". These comments were mixed with continued remarks about the social issues in Alice Springs she sees with First Nations people in town, broadcast over the loudspeaker. As tour operators, this company has failed their responsibility to be more culturally informed as this tour is overseas guests' representation of Australia. Shame.

Fantastic experience: We did three tours with Emu Run Experience from Alice Springs - the Western MacDonnell Ranges tour, the Palm Valley tour, and the Uluru tour. All three were excellent. The tour guides and drivers (Johno, Miguel, Charlie and Yad) were very knowledgeable and everything was very well organised.

Fantastic experience: It was a very enjoyable day with our guide, who was so knowledgeable about the history of Uluru. Half a day packed full of discoveries in a relaxed atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Emu Run’s West McDonnell Ranges tour was a great way to see some fantastic spots around Alice Springs. All stops were great, but Standley Chasm was the highlight. Our driver and guide, Jono, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Supplied lunch was a very pleasant - all vegetables and lettuce for the wraps were fresh and crisp.

Negative experience: We had the worst experience of our holiday with emu run. Very unorganised and we had the bus driver stand over us and tell us to eat quickly and hurry up because he needs to pack up. We were last to get our meals then told to hurry was not a enjoyable evening

Fantastic experience: Scotty our guide was extremely informative and friendly. He was flexible and understanding towards those who were much older and took a longer time with the walk/hike and assisted where he could. It was a fun day, I would highly recommend this .

Positive experience: I did the day tour from Alice Springs. Our driver was great! He was very friendly and shared some info with us along the way. When we got to Uluru, we switched to our other guide. He was in charge of the tour, driving, and the bbq. He seemed to have a lot on his plate and was stressed. He shared stories about the rock and took us to a few spots around, but by the end of the day, I think he was tired and ready to be done. The bbq was definitely the highlight. We had a gorgeous sunset, and Uluru turned colors as the sun went down. The food was pretty good, and it was nice to relax. Overall, it was great day!

Negative experience: Serious let down, don't waste your money!! They ran out of plates so I had my meal off a Tupperware lid, and I wasn't the only one! Afterwards we had to pack our own chairs and tables onto the bus. Well done to the staff, it seems like they were used to a badly run evening and can only blame management for this.

Fantastic experience: We took the West MacDonnell ranges tour and greatly enjoyed it. Yad was a great tour guide and the sights were amazing. The small tour size made small adaptations easy. One of our favorite tours while in Australia!

Negative experience: did the uluru Sunset tour with Bbq .But it was heavy rain which was fine but the bus all the way through was so cold the bus was changed when coming back i still didnt find it that warm. Due to delayed pick up our tour seemed also rushed. We stopped at Uluru first then only spent 5 mins in Kata Tjuta.I understand the weather changes but as a tour company they should be use to weather changes .So no Sunset but the Bbq was nice but the place we was suppose to have bbq was changed due to weather.Which we to had wait in the bus for venue change. Tour company seemed bit disorganised. For the amount you pay I think if your going during when it's raining maybe the price should be cheaper. Wasn't the best tour I have had here and tour Guide Yad was okay. Found him to be abit abrupt with other people not doing the tour when they were trying to go see the painting on the rocks.I felt sorry for them. I guess I would have to do it when it's more hotter to see the difference but abit let down especially if your paying alot.

The Emu Tours staff are first class with providing a professional registered guide for Uluru with Aboriginal culture knowledge and in Neil our guide for Macdonnell Ranges being informative and humorous. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: A once in a lifetime experience and a lifelong dream come true❤️. Totally epic in every way - stunning, breathtaking, mind boggling - loved the trip! Fly net, suncream and water an absolute must! ❤️❤️ We were picked up on time, fed well at sunset and delivered back to hotel - perfect!

Negative experience: After hearing great reviews from others that had been on this tour, we were excited to get on board. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the experience we hoped for. Having paid extra for front row seats and receiving a call the day before to confirm this with our pick up time, when we went to board they had missed that a customer required a front seat due to being in a wheelchair. We were the last people to be picked up, so gave up our seats but were then rudely rushed to the back of the bus as the driver Dave began a rant to us all about the importance of being on time. We were ready at our allocated pick up time and the bus arrived 5 mins late! How we all then ended up 30 minutes behind schedule before starting the trip is baffling to everyone on board. We got to the last 2 seats together at the back but they turned out to be broken! The usb points did not work, the seats did not recline and they were next to the toilet, which smelt awful. Mid way through the tour the toilet had to be shut off as it was also apparently broken. I’m sure Dave is usually a great driver, however, on this day he was in a really bad mood. He explained to all of us on the bus that he had a bad night as his property was broken into (which is awful), however, he began driving before we had made it to our seats, shared his negative opinion of working for the company and made passive aggressive comments and threats to turn the bus around throughout the trip if we did anything further to upset him. To top it off, when we went to collect our lunch they had mixed up the order and didn’t have our wraps! We were provided with an alternative but it was becoming a comedy of errors and we were genuinely concerned about the mental health of our driver. Arriving to Uluṟu, we phoned the company to express our concerns and spoke to Frances who was polite and promptly refunded our seat upgrade, but made no further attempt to compensate us for what was a truly miserable start. Yad, our tour guide did his best to redeem the day and provided a lovely tour and cooked dinner with plenty of drinks on offer, but that honestly doesn’t make up for what should have been the experience of a lifetime. At the very least, fix the bus and take better care for the mental health of your staff.

Fantastic experience: Just back from the Uluru BBQ with Emu. The food and drink was generous and good. Our Driver (Dave ?) was informative and friendly. Great value compared with similar trips in the area. Thoroughly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: I've been with Emu Run Experience on two tours from Alice Springs. Very long Uluru and sunset tour with BBQ. And the second one, West McDonnell Ranges tour. The company employs excellent guides and drivers. Very good organization of tours. I recommend seeing the famous Red Center of Australia with them.

Fantastic experience: It's a wonderful trip, many beautiful views and our tourist guide, Yad, is a very informative guide, he is full of enthusiasm and is very responsible. He made this tour full of fun and joy. Certainly will recommend my friends to join this tour when they come to visit Uluru.

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed the tour from Alice Spring to Uluru with sunset dinner. It is a long day with several hours on a relatively comfortable bus and the driving was excellent. The tour was timed perfectly, dinner abundant and tasty. A great day at a fascinating site. Keep in mind is very hot and you need plenty of water and the mosquito net.

Fantastic experience: I joined the 1 day West MacDonnell ranges tour on February 15th. Our driver / guide was Scott. He was really great and told us a lot of interesting things along the way. It was a very nice day, beautiful scenery. I will definitely recommend it !

Negative experience: The tour has been delayed 1hour30mins,only 1 small apple and some lollies for "Fruits and snacks". Because of late time we had very Rush dinner. Air conditioner not working inside the Bus/Coach in the super hot weather. Not recommend at all. Bad experiences for us this time.

Fantastic experience: Jono was our guide in Uluru for 2 1/2 days as part of our Princess Australia extension! He was amazing! Great experience, felt like home with the temps but just gorgeous. Thank you Jono!

Fantastic experience: Picked up at 7:15am, right on time, and proceeded to pick up others at other locales... and then on our way. Plenty of bathroom / snack stops and they had very large jugs of cold water to refill any water bottles. Morning snack provided. Nice stop at a place that had a few Emu. Outback is amazing to see and there was lots of history and information provided by the driver as we rolled along. Nice lunch stop. It is a long way away. But we got there and had a couple of walking tours of special sites at Uluru. Moved around to the other side and another walking tour. All 3 walks were relatively easy walks. Each came with lessons about the people who lived there. Then we had a very nice outdoor dinner at sunset before beginning the ride back (which gladly had more bathroom stops). Got back at 1am.

Fantastic experience: I had an unforgettable memory in ULU. It feels like I am overwhelmed by nature. Also the tour guide, YAD from E Run helped us to have a great time with fluent explain. It was really helpful with a variety of legends about Ayers rock and Kata Tjuta. I was the only Asian in this tour but he explained everything with kindness and clearly. Thank you again Yulara as well as my guide, YAD. Hope you guys also have a great time with him.

Fantastic experience: We did a day tour of Uluru and Kata-Tjuta and our guide, Yad, made it feel like we were part of his family. He is very relaxed, knowledgeable and caring. What stood out for me was that at every stop, Yad took time to explain in detail everything we would be doing and the time allotted. This made for a predictable and simple experience without anxious wondering.

Fantastic experience: Emu Run tours are the best. Tour guides, drivers are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. On my latest trip, we had Yad as our driver/guide on the 1 day Uluru Tour. He's great!

Positive experience: We went on 2 tours, West MacDonnell Ranges and Uluru/Kata Tjuta. West MacDonnell Ranges was a perfect tour, we were a group of 3 people. Our guide, Jono, was great because he was passionate about nature and knowledgeable about wildlife. We recommend it. 5/5 For the Uluru/Kata Tjuta, we changed buses multiple times during the day, because ours had a problem with the indicator light. The bus problem on the way out caused a delay, we had to hurry for the rest. Especially for the Walpa Gorge walk that is 1h return but we had only 30min so we couldn't go far. Maybe it would be better to start the tour earlier in the morning 4-6am, in order to have more time on site. Because every stop was timed, same for dinner. But the tour worth it. 4/5

Fantastic experience: had a lovely time on the emu run experience tours. went on the west macdonnell ranges tour with bluey and two trainee tour guides. bluey was a top-notch, engaging storyteller and shared a wealth of knowledge with us. he was truly the best tour guide I’ve encountered throughout all the different tour guides from the agencies I’ve toured with. always rare to have a tour guide know so much and cater to my interest in geology, so it was great having a chat with him :) the other two who came along with us were great as well and helped add to the atmosphere in the bus. they all seemed to really like the job and I particularly enjoyed seeing the reality of how y’all tour guides get trained too! quite inspirational and I really appreciate how hard everyone is working to make us tourists have a great experience in the red center. went on the uluru tour with sheldon and yad. the bus was comfortable and the two were great at engaging us, despite the big bus having a pretty dead atmosphere. kudos especially to yad for doing his best to reach out to the crowd despite our lackluster response. thank you to the guides for preparing our dinner too! was a really good experience and I highly recommend choosing emu run for tours in alice springs and uluru!

Fantastic experience: terrific experience with Jono and Phillip (Felipe). Jono was a wonderful guide as he was able to give quite a detailed explanation of the country we were travelling through. Felipe was an observer but also was very engaged with the group. I enjoyed the fact that it was not a huge group too. Highly recommend doing the Palm Valley day with Emu Run.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have recently experienced 3 tours in 4 days with Emu Run Experiences. The tours were West McDonnell Ranges, Uluru and Palm Valley. Our drivers and guides were Miguel, Charlie, Yad and Johnny. All 4 were very professional, accommodating and knowledgable. I do not hesitate to recommend this organisation for experiences you will never forget!

Fantastic experience: Good value for money. We were picked up promptly from our accommodation and had a informative commentary along the way. Very friendly. BBQ was great enjoyed watching the sunset over the Rock with a glass of wine. Best experience.

Negative experience: Worst Uluru experience - we were booked in for the Outback Sunset BBQ and we were picked up late, greeted by a cranky chef who told us we were 40 mins late and it’s not his fault and we had 20 mins to eat and drink and we would be back on the bus in about 50 mins to be taken back to the resort. Food was rubbish - salads taken straight from the supermarket (coleslaw, potato salad and pasta salad) with steak and sausages. Bottles on wine plonked on the table and we had to scrape our own plates and put them into tubs. Paid a lot of money and it was the biggest waste.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic day trip to West McDonnell Ranges, We swam in natural springs and our tour operator Miguel was fantastic.

Positive experience: We really enjoyed our day trip to the West MacDonnell Ranges with Catalina. Everything was done well and with enthusiasm. From lunch to swimming, all done so well. Our only disappointment/slight annoyance was being picked up last and dropped off last!

Fantastic experience: West MacDonnell Ranges Day Tour- this left us amazed & in awe of our beautiful country. The most wonderful experience filled with scenic views, discovering surprising gorges & appreciating our Indigenous origins. Felipe, our Tour Guide entertained us with stories & history- & amused us with his quirky sense of humour. Definitely recommend this Tour- we're still raving about it. Make sure your phone is charged for copious amounts of superb photos of inspiring landscapes & hidden oasis'.

Fantastic experience: Amazing tour. Highly recommend. Would definitely do it again. Some of the views we saw were breathtaking. Would definitely recommend going for a swim at the water holes. Cat (tour guide) was the best. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Fantastic experience: We experienced the Uluru BBQ sunset trip a week ago and would like to thank Charlie and Yad for a fantastic day. We’re over from England and would thoroughly recommend this informative trip. Two days later we did the Palm Valley 4WD trip with Miguel, great fun. Again wonderful the guides were so knowledgable and had patience with 2 people in their mid 70’s. Trips of a lifetime. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: An amazing experience. We really enjoyed the dinner of a simple BBQ with the spectacular backdrop of the rock. Our driver was very professional, driving, cooking, cleaning up and entertaining us all on his own.

Positive experience: The West McDonnell Ranges tour from Alice Springs was spectacular. We were disappointed that we were put on a mini bus as there were 9 on the tour. We couldn't stand up in the bus and the seats were not as comfortable. The driver though very nice ,had only been in the country a few months and lacked an in-depth knowledge that we would have appreciated. The fresh water available on the bus was unpleasant in taste. We found AATKing bus tours by comparison far more comfortable and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Great day Charlie was our driver she was awesome great knowledge and informative. When we reached Uluṟu Yad took over. He took us on an amazing journey to the Olga’s and Uluṟu. We seen spectacular sights and heard many interesting stories. I can highly recommend this amazing trip.

Fantastic experience: Jono was a great guide and took us to the most interesting sites in the Macdonell Ranges. He provided an informative friendly banter on the trip. The lunch at Ormiston Gorge was amazing. Overall the tour the tour was awesome.

Fantastic experience: Big shout out to our guide Catalina. Charming, funny, knowledgeable, passionate, hardworking. Great person. Here’s to the tour and the destinations covered. Great places and interesting sights. Down side Mr Emu Run Experience, the bus! Buy a new one. The good thing was that the air conditioning worked well. But the suspension is shot, the seats are small and not very comfortable. For goodness sake with great staff like Catalina, she deserves a great bus. Cheers had a great day.

Fantastic experience: So, I joined 2 tours by myself. Joined West MacDonnell range tour by Johnno. He was very funny and very informative, also he summoned Black foot wallaby. He also love about nature, climate change, West Mc history. Another tour was Uluru/ Kataju. Driver was Heather and tour guide was Jad? I think he is from Geelong. Very informative about indigenous history, nature, very easy to listen. Uluru bus driver was kind enough to stop to show us Mt connor!!. I really enjoyed.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Emurun and our guide Felipe. He made our all day trip pleasant informative and assisted with all the inquiries the group and we had during the trip. We highly recommend Emurun to all ages to be able to discover Alice Springs.

Fantastic experience: Today we went to another Emu Run tour in Alice Springs. We had a great day tour visiting the MacDonnells Ranges, Finke Gorge National Park, Palm Valley and Hermmanburg. The tour guide Johno was great, very informative and helpful. We had a really good time and enjoyed very much. Highly recommend this wonderful adventure Hector and Susie

Fantastic experience: Loved it. Driver (Miguel from Seville & tour guide Jad from India) were friendly, helpful, full of information & did everything with a smile. Dinner was splendid & there were also indigenous people with wonderful original paintings selling their art cheaper than in other places, signed and photo. Superb!

Positive experience: It was ok. We did the 1 day Kata Tjuṯa and Uluru tour departing from alice springs and we used it to get us to uluru as we stayed there after. It was therefore useful from that perspective as it combined the travel with a tour. The places you go to were good as well. We were unlikely however, as our tour guide was completely awful. I think his name was Yur Brad, he was so bossy! Kept telling everyone where to stand, go there, don’t go here, stay there, come back, stand closer. It was constant, all day and I found it so overbearing and rude. Frankly, it completely ruined my day and I probably should have told him to stop. He also didn’t do it in front of other colleagues, which I thought said it all. The highlight was the sunset BBQ, the food was lush and just watching the rock from the viewing area is amazing and very relaxing. Probably because the tour guide wasn’t there. Overall, an average tour that i probably wouldn’t recommend. The best way to see uluru is yourself with your own car/walking/cycling. All the information the tour guides give you is written in the information centre anyway.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful company have done two tours through this company most recent one day tour from Alice to Uluru, just breathtaking. Highly recommend could not fault.

Fantastic experience: Our family of five had a great trip with Emu Run. Our guide did a great job, the bus was comfortable and the food was fine. Overall, the experience was a good value.

Fantastic experience: Great trip around Alice Springs as we looked around the Alice Springs on Air School (ASNAS), Royal Flying Doctors, Telegraph station as well as Anzac Hill as Catalina was a great and very entertaining guide for our trip

Fantastic experience: The Historical Alice Tour was wonderful. Got to visit the School of the Air, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the Telegraph Station and Anzac Hill. The history of these places is incredible. I learned a lot in one afternoon! Our guide Catalina was wonderful. She looked after our group so well and gave us time to enjoy all the sights. Highly recommend this tour with Emu.

Fantastic experience: The tour guide was so kind, considerate and pleasant. (He was a tall man with sunglasses and a hood on his head.) Our family came from Korea to see Uluru. It was such a fun and great experience.

Positive experience: I went on the full-day sunset Uluru barbecue tour. When they say full-day, they mean it. Pick-up is at 6 am, and drop-off is at midnight. The bus was conditioned and heated, so it was quite comfortable. The journey is long, 3 hours from Alice Springs to Uluru. The driver likes to talk a lot, so you may want to bring headphones so you can sleep on the ride there and back. We stopped at Kings Canyon for a self-guided hike which was quite nice. Then we stopped at the cultural center with a museum and multiple shops. Then the tour guide took us on a tour of Uluru. He could have worked on his presentation skills cause he mumbled a lot, and I wasn't sure he really knew what he was talking about. Definitely not passionate about giving the tour. Lastly, we had a barbecue and watched the sunset. The food was nice, and the sunset was surreal. On the way back, we stopped to stargaze for a few minutes, which was quite special.

Fantastic experience: The wonderful Cata picked us up from Redbank Gorge after finishing the Larapinta Trail and drove us back to Alice Springs. Cata was extremely knowledgeable and told us all about the history and culture of the area on our 2 hour drive back to Alice. Cata was flexible and accommodating, and even dropped my water bottle back to our accommodation after I left it in the car. Highly recommend Cata and Emu Run for Larapinta Trail transfers and food drops.
