Fantastic experience: Staff very helpful and organised booking straight away

Positive experience: We initially met with the FC representative and discussed our flight details and dates for our European vacation which the staff member gave us an overview of the costs which she suggested we put a hold on. We agreed and organised a follow up meeting for the next week. We went to the office on the agreed date to be told that our details had been misplaced thus no hold on any booking prices. At the end of the meeting we had reiterated the details and were now looking at $1000 more as we had missed the pricing previously quoted. We were then sent our itinerary after paying a deposit. We then noted that one lot of accommodation was booked on the right date wrong month. After the original suggestion that we needed to pay a $400 difference to change the accommodation because the pricing had gone up we capitulated to take different accommodation to avoid paying more. After this was sorted our holiday went well. We had only booked flights in and out of Europe and one 3 night booking of accommodation for our 6 week trip with FC. Once we got home after our trip I checked our Qantas Frequent Flier points to see what points we had accumulated. But no points. We had given our FF membership number to the FC representative when we made the booking and payments. I emailed FC to be told that I would need to retrospectively claim the points myself. As this was our first large scale European trip we went to FC expecting a professional team that would support us travelling. This is not how it all went. We will never use Flight Centre Devonport ever again.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a trip to Europe, organised by Kassie Elphinstone in the Devonport office of FC. The big important things were taken care of: The hotels recommended were really lovely and the locations spot on, in Paris and Dublin. And so were the smaller details that matter also: Bags checked through multiple airports, seats allocated together and upgrades at the hotels that Kassie booked us into. I have always valued professional service and effectiveness. Nice work and thank you, Kassie. Your attention to detail and attention to client...made our trip so memorable. Negative experience: Went there to make a booking the staff couldn’t care less didn’t greet us they were to preoccupied with other customers I thought maybe a quick acknowledgement we were there we waited for 15 mins then walked out

Fantastic experience: Mikaela is fantastic! I needed flights organised for an international conference in Vietnam, and my plans kept changing throughout the booking process. Mikaela from Devonport Flight Centre was absolutely brilliant and handled every change with ease. She never made me feel like a hassle, gave great recommendations for the Vietnam route, and made the whole process seamless. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Fantastic experience: Lauren was just incredible. She organised everything so well, all our transfers, accommodation, flights etc. and we had no issues at all on our trip of a lifetime. Lauren is very good at her job and I honestly think she deserves a pay rise. She truly went above and beyond, and Flight Centre is so lucky to have such a dedicated team member. ☺️

Rebekah Williams was awesome and helped with all the necessary changes to our flights accommodation and car hire. Fantastic experience: Kassie was absolutely amazing with assisting us to plan our first ever trip to Europe. She has an amazing wealth of knowledge and was very patient and kind. She made us feel that we could ask about anything and everything regarding our trip. She always followed up with any questions or concerns we had and nothing was too much trouble. As a result of this we had a fantastic holiday that went smoothly and was very enjoyable. We will definitely be asking her to help us plan our next trip.

Fantastic experience: I found Mikayla Parsons (apparently there are two Mikayla's working at the same office) the flight centre in Devonport was extremely helpful in facilitating flights and travel insurance for a recent flight to regional Thailand. Much easier and less stressful than doing it myself.. Mikayla has a very pleasant manner that will put you as ease. I get the impression she is quite popular so I recommend booking an appointment with her rather than cold calling. These photos aren't of the actual plane I went on. ;-)

Fantastic experience: I will not book my own flights again but now always go to Flight Centre. The staff were accommodating of time, questions, recommendations and advice, giving personal space to weigh up any decision making, and being honest and compliant in all and every aspect of doing so. I was running late on the day I was booking my international flights and had total and complete trust in leaving the final and finer details of seating etc with my flight advisor Mikayla. There are so very many aspects to flight travel now, and Flight Travel are knowledgeable and competent in every area. I have complete trust and confidence in all Flight Centre staff for all or any further flight travel ongoing. They are "just wonderful", and I am greatful to them all with a special shout out to Mikayla. "Thankyou" Flight Centre.

Fantastic experience: We can’t thank Hannah enough for all her help in meticulously planning our family holiday! From flights, accommodation, transfers and insurance, she helped organise everything! Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances we had to sadly cancel our trip last minute. This was quite stressful, but thanks to Hannah, she made the entire insurance/refund process so smooth and stress-free! Fantastic experience: Kassie helped my partner and I travel to New Zealand for a 2 week Contiki + holiday. WOW, is she amazing at what she does! I can't recommend her, or Devonport Flight Centre enough, their customer service is always efficient and they truly care about helping you. We had issues with cancelled flights (airlines issue) and she helped us with chasing up refunds which wasn't an easy job! I cannot thank her enough, it was very easy working with her and the team!

Having not flown overseas for so long, Bec made the whole process seamless and had some great tips and help with our recent trip to NZ. Even a refund we got for a helicopter flight that was cancelled due to bad weather, came back to us so promptly. Will totally go back to see them next time we plan to go o/s. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Helped with booking an international flight, I've never done this so I thought it would be a good idea to book an appointment with the professionals. I had searched up flights on Google Flights & showed them that so it was easy for them to select the exact same flights. Turned out to be $500 cheaper which was a welcome surprise. I'll definitely go there for any future bookings :D

Negative experience: We waited 25 mins to get seen to then a lady walks in knows one of the workers starts talking then she starts booking her an appointment while we were still sitting their waiting so we walked out not happy we will be not recommending this flight centre to anyone

Negative experience: Worst customer service EVER. I Booked online which means x Australia zero support. 19 phone calls. 30 hrs and ZERO. I went into 2 shops . They treated me like a leper as they earned zero commissions. POOR. One of the worst NO the worst experience in 45 yrs of travel. I strongly recommend NEVER NEVER NEVER book online. I am so so mad can u tell.

Hannah has been our travel agent for the past 2 years and she is just brilliant, making every step of our bookings and the experience as a whole super easy. She is so lovely, genuine and always looking for ways to bring extra value and professionalism to her clients. Me and my partner don’t even live in Devonport, and we still use her every time we need to book a flight/holiday, that’s how good she is!!!! I can’t recommend her enough!!!

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with the assistance and advice that I received from Hannah. She has not only assisted me with bookings, but has guided me through the difficulties associated with recovering refunds for payments made prior to the pandemic. She is always cheerful, polite and thoroughly professional. I intend to consult her in the future, not only for my regular domestic flights, but also for my regular international flights when they resume. She is an asset to Flight Centre.

Fantastic experience: Rebecca from Devonport branch is an amazing asset to Flight centre .. we have been dealing with her for over 3 years and thru the Covid epidemic she has always gone above and beyond to help her clients .. our last encounter with Covid challenges was just this week and having our flights changed at least 4 times over a 10 day period and trying to get home to Tassie from Darwin. Rebecca went out her way on a Sunday to check in store on our flight status .. we made it home without increased cost’s and a time frame to suit .. thankyou Rebecca we will never book through anyone but you .. Fantastic experience: Lauren from flight centre devonport and the team did an amazing job in managing the current conditions with flight constant cancellations to get me home! frustrating time to fly but a bit of piece of mind when you have people in the background making things happen. Also the effort they put in to get a credit for accomodation used from a past cancellation due to covid with a very difficult company to say the least

Fantastic experience: I had phoned the Devonport flight centre very stressed as I had been scammed by alternative airlines . I spoke to Hannah who quickly reserved a seat on a flight for me. I expressed my concern as I had financial hardship because of the previous bogus site. She suggested a finance alternative in which the girls use themselves. She emailed all the information through, and stressed to me not to hesitate to call regarding questions. Oh boy did I have to call that poor girl. She managed each phone call with calmness & professionalism. I had managed to secure my payment details just after 5pm when she was due to finish work. I apogised for my stressed lack of organisation in finalising this with getting necessary documentation emailed through. She said not a worry we are nearly there . I could here her co workers leaving but she waited patiently for me to finally finalise the last details needed for her to book the tickets & send confirmation emails. I work in Retail & makes me consider my actions now making sure I go over & beyond as she did for me on such a stressful day. What a lovely sincere, professional employee Hannah is

Fantastic experience: Last week we had 4 flights home cancelled by two airlines over a 5 day period due to COVID in Victoria Both Jetstar and Virgin were impossible to get through to on the phone Thank goodness I used Devonport Flight Centre for my bookings as I got straight through to friendly Lauren on more than one occasion, who helped me book new flights, claim refunds and keep me sane. She was so patient and professional. With 12 hours until our flight Jetstar cancelled again - Hannah helped me through tears rebook flights and accommodation to get us home via Sydney so we didn’t have to go to Victoria Both girls were Brilliant and if you are travelling at the moment use Flight Centre because they are contactable immediately and you can ring to speak to the same helpful people when things go wrong... Fantastic experience: I had to book travel to Germany in December 2020 for family reasons. The thought of International travel is quite scary at the moment but Hannah at the Flight Centre Office in Devonport took great care of all my fight booking and managing, as well as advice on what to be aware of for international travel. If it wasn’t for her confidence and dedication, I would have not attempted international travel at the moment. The customer service was absolutely spectacular from start to finish. Any changes or cancellations (which happen regularly at the moment) that were made to my booked flights, were taken care of immediately by Hannah. She was always one step ahead of the game and re-booked me onto other flights immediately or notified me of any changes made to the flight schedule. Anyone planning to book travel at the moment, let it be national or international, I would highly recommend using face to face service at the Flight Centre. You can rest assured that all your transportation is well taken care off. That way you can focus on the things that you went away for and don’t have to deal with airlines or re-booking issues yourself. The customer service was nothing short of outstanding, if you run into any difficulties you always have your travel agent that you can contact and after hours there is a 24/7 Flight Centre helpline. I cannot recommend booking travel through Flight Centre highly enough. Do yourself a favour and don’t try to attempt booking travel yourself. Let the professionals take care of it.
