Fantastic experience: Maraea was a great help with my recent trip booking to Canada. She had all the answers to my questions and was very thorough

Negative experience: Maraea has been extremely disappointing to deal with. We unfortunately had to cancel our trip at the beginning of March due to medical reasons. 4+ months later we still haven’t received a full refund. Maraea has consistently not responded (ignored) our requests and emails, made errors, nor delivered on what she told us she would arrange. The matter has been escalated but we are still $1,800 out of pocket. Hopefully this review will finally get FC to act, and provide us our correct refund.

Fantastic experience: If you want someone to arrange your flight with care and concern, I suggest you go straight to Flight Centre Greenslopes. The senior consultant there, Michael, is tops! We have booked quite a number of trips overseas in the last 3 years and have never met with any problems in the ticketing. No matter how many questions we ask about possible flights we may take to a destination, or suitable accommodation, he has the knowledge and expertise to offer all possibilities efficiently and quickly. No matter how many times we repeat those questions or bombade him with more, he always answers politely and with extreme patience. More than that he offers ideas on how to liven up our trip by providing insights to the destinations we plan to travel. His staff are also friendly and courteous and make all who enter feel welcome. Add to this, available parking right outside the centre and coffee next door. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I recently made a booking directly with Oceania Cruises for their 19-Day voyage from Sydney to Papeete over Christmas 2025. However, I had difficulty in finalising my return flights to Brisbane. Close friends suggested I contact FC. As I live in Coorparoo, I phoned the nearby Greenslopes branch. Maraea took my call and very efficiently bundled all of my pre-bookings into one package, after she obtained the consent of the agent I was dealing with at Oceania Cruises. This relieved me of my concerns about my airline voyage back home. I now look forward very much to celebrating Christmas Day in Bora Bora, French Polynesia. Positive experience: An overall good experience from helpful staff - Michael, Maraea and Gabby. However, there is just one thing I dont understand. From the verbal quote during the initial phone conversation through to making online payment, additional insurance and "Captains Pack" items got added thus increasing the price considerably. Maybe I wasnt paying attention during the calls? Anyways, a few more phone calls followed and the insurance item was removed and part of the "Captains Pack" also ... but not all. I was told that because I was buying a one way ticket a basic "Captains Pack" must be added to the fee. I find this odd. In the end I just paid it. Is an extra "Captains Pack" fee unavoidable on the purchase of a one way ticket? Maybe if anyone is reading this they might show me on the Flight Centre website where this is stated.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say a big thank you to Andrea for taking the time to address a problem that I had when booking a flight for my mum. My mother is a very nervous flyer, especially when flying alone. I had specific requests that were from my mum and, as it was her money and flight miles and I was responsible for all those requests being sorted so that my mum didn't worry for the next 6 months :) A problem arose after I booked with Flight Centre Greenslopes - regarding sky awards and other bits - Instead of Andrea just saying "too bad, so sad." Andrea worked hard to make sure that all the requirements for my mum resulted in the initial request. Hopefully, everything is plain sailing from now - I was very happy how they cared for their client's wellbeing, and for my own (as I would have heard about it for 6 months hehehe) Thank you again!!!

Positive experience: As my own Policy, I don't tend to give 5 stars to anything Flight Centre, Greenslopes is a great location. Away from major shopping centres.Plenty of parking. It's a quiet set of shops, but has an IGA and coffee shop, if you neef Currently 3 people are staff Maraea was my go to Because it's not a major shopping centre, I could see Maraea at virtually any time, to my discretion As a result of my own anxiety, Maraea had to do a couple of extra things. Like print out my flight timesl a few times.(the airlines had changed from the original) Maraea attended to me with competence and speed. Sitting next to her is English Andrea who can add a little extra consulting I hope to utilise this Flight Centre outlet again

I was promised a refund from Qantas because of an inoperable seat in Business Class on a 'long haul' and Michael is doing his best to get that refund for me. Once again, this year, Michel has showed his empathy, efficiency, honesty, patience etc. Nothing was a problem, no question unanswerable and time did not appear to be a problem - we never once felt that we were being rushed or pushed - even though we are only going across the ditch again to NZ! Michael goes above and beyond and I am very pleased we have returned to Flight Centre to arrange everything instead of doing it all myself - flights, car hire and accommodation.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with this centre. So many mistakes made by our agent, one WE picked up 3 days before travelling, and a couple WE picked up while overseas. They didn’t even have a valid solution - we had to come up with one ourselves. Worst part was no actual apology or recognition for her mistakes was given. Definitely going back to planning trips by myself now.
