Negative experience: My parents recently went on a trip and decided to use Flight Centre. What a mistake. Every step of the way my parents had to chase the consultant Bianca. There were several parts of the trip that were poorly organised and when my parent sought assistance. The first response was......"this was not booked incorrectly by me". No one cares who made the mistake if it is not the customer. Flight Centre is supposed to be organising the travel, so when it doesn't work we don't want excuses, just assistance. My parents sent an email on the 10 Sept outlining the issues and nothing. No response, no email, no call. Really Flight Centre, help your customers, not ignore their emails or make excuses. As a customer we want advice, help and some politeness in a timely manner. Put an automatic response on emails saying when you can expect a response and then respond not just nothing. I would not recommend Flight Centre to anyone and am sure to share this experience with all my friends and family. Update... I received this Response from the owner 48 minutes ago We're sorry to hear about your experience Jodie, this is not the experience we want our customers to have! Unfortunately, with our agents being in such high demand with travel enquiry skyrocketing, we are finding that the demand is outstripping our ability to answer every email, whilst still assisting customers in store & over the phone. We do highly recommend booking an appointment with your original agent as this ensures a dedicated sit down to clear up any confusions. We will be sure to manage this feedback as appropriate and thank you for your review. My response is: Wow! Imagine making an excuse that you do not have enough staff and it is somehow the customers fault. Really sad that no one cares about providing service. My parents are still waiting for someone to provide the refund (they have this advice in writing) they were told they would get on the 19 Aug 2024. As well as reply to their emails. Why would it take 30+ days to get back to someone? What if the customer is overseas? Super sad.

Initially in booking our European Holiday, Flights with Singapore Airlines and Accommodation in Singapore, and a number of car hires. He was thorough and patient. But he really excelled in helping us get back to Australia after we had a health scare, with my wife getting pneumonia, we had to cancel our return flights back to Australia. Without Kevin arranging the return flights, and rebooking our accommodation in Singapore at short notice, we might still have been stuck in Europe. Booking through her was very easy as she found great flights at reasonable prices from Australia to Europe as well as flights in Europe and Switzerland. Bianca also booked a Cruise and recommended a Train Journey for us. She summarized the schedule by days with addresses of our Hotels and printed the pdf of the Final Itinerary perfectly. Negative experience: Honestly a waste of time. Twice I've visited over the last few years, talked at length and (at their request) sent a full itinerary through only to get no response or follow up. Really disappointing. We travel quite a lot so it's unfortunate that we've now had to go further afield for a decent travel agent.
