Fantastic experience: I had a vehicle stolen from the headlands carport, the 2 ladies at the info center were amazingly kind and helpful. Bought me a coffee, gave me a teeshirt to wear and helped organize a taxi ride etc. Thanks again!!

Positive experience: Rosita is such a lovely and helpful person on any local and general overall Aussie experiences. A good chat! I was put off by the man that I was directed to sit down with and make the booking with after talking with her. We started going over the dates, he called to inquire if Wednesday was free rather than getting all open dates for the week, he seemed bothered to call back and in general seemed to be in a rush. I was wanting to do the 18-35 y/o age group K’gari tour to avoid the chance at younger impatient children on a very long full day tour in the hot sun and in nature, I wanted it to be relaxing and no loud screaming. I feel many adults would prefer this! When I inquired on this tour, he told me the tour was for “young people and also people my age”. Nobody had asked my age yet, I am 31, I am young and look young! It was such a rude comment that stuck with me for a couple of weeks now (mind you, the man that made this comment was in 40’s or 50’s and should know better), I ended up booking a tour directly because of this. I surely can’t be the only one this person is speaking to this way. Often saying less is more, the age comment could have been avoided entirely or it could have simply been inquired on my age and just refer to the tour as the “18-35 y/o tour” rather than saying it’s for young people and people your age. The man was rushed, seemed put off and rude in general.

Fantastic experience: Robyn was extremely helpful in assisting me with a logistical pickle I encountered when travelling.

Negative experience: The lady here is not knowledgeable in what there is to do or see around the place. Noosa is very unhappy about tourists coming in to check out the small town, which was very unwelcoming for travellers visiting. It is not traveller friendly in any way and no places to rest for people passing by, which is ridiculous considering travellers are the main income for this small town.

Positive experience: Hallo, einmal war ich auch hier im Noosa Visitor Information Centre, als ich zu Gast in Noosa war. Ein relativ großes Laden Büro direkt an der Hauptstraße am Strand. Hier kann man schon ein paar nützliche Informationen erlangen. Die Beratungen durch das Personal waren gut. Es gab hier viele Broschüren und Magazine über die Gegend zwischen der Sunshine Coast und der Fraser Coast. Souvenirs gab es hier nicht wirklich aber nur ein paar Meter weiter hat man da genug Auswahl.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team of mainly volunteers who love sharing their local knowledge about places to see, things to do and how to relax and enjoy your time in Noosa. Plenty of available information and friendly service. There are some wonderful places to stay in the area and adventures of all sorts to be had. I am definitely coming back to do more!

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting in the service I got today from one of the ladies. I was asked if I needed any help and normally I would say no but I’m traveling sólo so I asked for recommendations on places to dine. I was given attitude and told just to talk down the street and the lady then walked away no other assistance given. I honestly felt like I was treated like I was the scum of the earth. I have never felt so disrespected before. The whole point of a vistior Centre is to help people and to be friendly. I definitely did not receive this and I expect better.

Positive experience: Lack of knowledge about Qld public transport ticketing. Centre open 9-5pm Mon to Fri. For tourists, don't know where to buy the bus ticket. Post office not sale the ticket. Only some newsagents sale the ticket which is further away from the main Beach area. Ticket machine at Noosa Junction area not working. Some bus drivers are good other are so Grumpy and not much help. Need improvement.

Fantastic experience: We were assisted by a very friendly and well informed lady. We went away with a little package of maps and leaflets matching our interests. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is so helpful! We wanted to find out where we could put our luggage on the last day so we could enjoy another nice day at the beach. We were allowed to leave our luggage with them and they helped us organise some things like getting to our bus. For all your needs, try here first! I can't imagine that they don't at least try everything to help you!

Positive experience: So... I'm a couple of days late providing this feedback. It would have been a 5-star review as the staff was lovely and very helpful on the day of booking an afternoon tour to the Everglades taking place today. As I was spending the morning with friends and lunch had been planned, I went by the office to ask them to change my pickup point. They said this wasn't possible... so I skipped the lunch and went back to wait for my pickup... only to find the bus driving right back to the Noosa Heads. Apart from this, a good overall feeling about this office
