Fantastic experience: Hi happy travels team I stayed at belongil beach apartments (east n Byron) with my family which is next to wake up backpackers in buron. I was interested in doing a family activity and booked the snorkeling at Julian rock which was outstanding. Carolin was who I was dealing with and was so professional, casual, polite, engaging and followed up at every point. She was excellent and made the experience so much better and rounded out a great overall experience. I will absolutely be recommending her and your business to others Well done!!!

Dan from happy travels helped me plan my entire trip he asked what I wanted to do and where to go and went through all the options I had. He helped me make the most out of my Australia trip even though it seemed to be impossible . He spent several hours trying to help me my trip and evaluating all the options. Amy was extremely helpful and has made sure we have everything we need for when we arrive in July. She was also super friendly and quick to respond to messages. Fantastic experience: Recently booked a few trips for the east coast and was very happy with the warm and welcoming atmosphere in the store. The staff were able to help with all my questions and very informative about the travel plan. Would highly recommend when booking future trips!!

Negative experience: I didn't have a great experience here tbh. I was promised a call back as they were busy. I did get the call but not until 4pm and was advised that if I was close by I could call in otherwise the girl was going home soon. I did go in (I was close by!) but they had mixed me up with someone else. Neither member of staff looked could wait to get me out the door so they could lock up and I was advised to book a bus online. Hilariously I received a message the next day stating they were sorry they couldn't help yesterday as they were sooo busy but would be happy to deal with my queries today and they had again mixed me up with someone else. I booked my £2000 red centre trip through another agency in the end as this lot were pretty hopeless

Fantastic experience: I came into Happy Travels defeated. I thought that I’d missed my chance at going to do some of the most popular excursions (Fraser island 3 day & Whitsundays) but after 5 mins sitting down with the legend that is Jamie, we sorted it all out and came up with an alternate plan. The plan ensured I still did everything I originally envisioned but just in a slightly different order so that I could book those dream trips. Jamie was fantastic he stayed with me for close to 3 hours, staying until 9pm so that we could lock it down. Despite it being 3 hours past closing, he still never rushed me and ensured we crossed all the Ts and dotted the Is before confirming everything. Couldn’t recommend Jamie and Happy Travels enough for anyone wanting to get their east coast trip organised and sorted top notch all round. Cheers Jamie!

Fantastic experience: Alisha was amazing booking my tour around the South island of New Zealand and Hobbiton. She made booking so smooth and easy so I could sit back, relax and enjoy my travels! She was also incredible when my Hobbiton tour was cancelled the day before I was meant to go on it, she responded instantly and found a new tour to take me to Hobbiton, she was always there incase I needed anything. Negative experience: Awful waste of money. I booked the clipper for Witt Sundays and a skydive and a day trip on Frazer Island. Frazer island cost 250$ to be driven on the island on a bus, was told it was gonna be amazing with a cameraman (no cameraman). I booked the clipper and was looking forward to it, when I arrived I was shocked to be on a boat called the broomstick which was not what I paid for and was a completely different trip to what I paid for, my skydive was booked at 10:30am for the day I got off the boat, the travel agent assured me it would be easy to make it, the boat came to land after 12 that day and I missed it. Happy travels is a sales company and will lie to you to get commission. They are refusing to give me a refund for this nightmare experience which coast me way over a thousand dollars for a couple of days. Book direct don’t get scammed by these scumbags
