We had booked a trip of a lifetime to celebrate a significant birthday and alas with all the uncertainty and boarder restrictions, cancellations and disappointment we have been informed at all times of the situation. Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Flower Travel and would use them again even though we did not actually go on a tour due to Covid. We had booked the Trans Siberia rail tour for departure in May 2020 but had to postpone due to Covid and again in 2021. We finally decided to cancel the tour and Flower Travel were very understanding of our position and immediately refunded the vast majority of our funds (some Russian deposits and Visa costs were not refundable) as we had paid the whole amount. When booking the tour the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us with the finer details of the tour and very responsive to our questions and requests.

Fantastic experience: We just completed our Coral Expeditions Kimberley trip, booked and managed by Flower Travel and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Flower Travel were terrific to deal with. They ensured great communication, especially throughout the changes due to Covid and essentially did their job twice. Our first trip was cancelled because of the pandemic so Flower Travel cancelled and rescheduled the trip, accommodation and insurance without complaint. Fantastic experience: Simon and his team have been looking after my corporate travel for more than13 years. Lots of travel, lots of hard to get to places and lots of last minute changes. All handled expertly, professionally and courteously. Good travel agents who know and understand their trade are had to find and when you find one they are like gold. Hence I cant recommend Flower Travel highly enough.

Fantastic experience: We recently did the Trans Siberian Railway trip organized by Flower Travel. From the time we arrived in Beijing and were met at the airport and taken to the hotel, we were escorted all the way. The train trip was better than I had anticipated as I had heard horror stories of locked toilets, but we did ask for a private carriage, which I would recommend. At every stop our guide was waiting for us. All the tours took place as they should have. The hotels were very central enabling us to see more of the cities we visited (such as in Moscow and Saint Petersburg) We always had the phone numbers of the contacts in each city we visited. Our guides were well informed and as a private tour we had a little leeway on how long we spent in certain places. Thank you Flower Travel. Joy

Fantastic experience: We recently completed the Trans Siberian Railway with the help of the organisational skills of Heidi from Flower Travel. It was an amazing bucket list trip and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. It was wonderful to be met at the train station with your name on it and to be looked after so well in foreign countries.We felt completely safe at all times and would thoroughly recommend Heidi and Flower travel for all travel need.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from our adventure on the Trans Siberian railway and cannot recommend Flower Travel enough for their organisation and knowledge of this area of the world. I did a lot of research before booking including looking for the best travel agent. We prefer individual travel but knew we would need some assistance on this journey and Heidi from Flower Travel knew exactly what we wanted and made it so easy for us. Heidi has made the same trip herself and this was invaluable in the planning. The the tours and local guides she organised and the hotels she booked for us where we broke the journey were exceptional. One should always expect a few glitches when travelling but there weren't any due to Heidi's meticulous organisation and her suggestions of "do's and don'ts" on the train itself. Fantastic experience: I searched Kimberley Cruising and came across Kimberley Travel and Cruise ( Flower Travel ). After going through their comprehensive website I contacted Jenny and Simon for more information. They were very professional in their dealings with us and after discussing our criteria for a great trip they recommended the Coral Discoverer. We have just got back from a great trip along the Kimberley Coast due in part to the choice of the Coral Discoverer. We saw a number of other ships ( both bigger and smaller ) during our trip and quickly realised that the Coral Discoverer's Xplorer exploration boat was a great asset to the trip. The other ships had to rely totally on zodiacs to do their exploring in which can be uncomfortable on the longer trips. Jenny and Simon and their team arranged everything ( we did a week pretrip exploration around Kununurra ) and everything worked like clockwork. Margaret and I would thoroughly recommend Jenny and Simon to arrange a Kimberley Experience of a lifetime for you.

Fantastic experience: We had a brilliant time thanks to the exceptional planning Simon and his team from start to finish were so easy to deal with. Their communication, pro-activeness, attention to detail, timeliness, follow-up and in general, outstanding service, made it easy to organize our Golden Eagle Trans Siberian, Winter Wonderland rail trip. We were in the snow, ice and -30C temperatures from Saint Petersburg to Moscow, across Siberia and into Mongolia via a charted flight then continuing on to Vladivostok. Fantastic experience: We booked a holiday to the US for our family of four (two adults, two small children). Very happy with how simple the whole process was. We were going through a really busy time, so their expertise, professionalism and friendliness in getting it all organised was much appreciated. Particularly grateful for their knowledge and advice about the US visa on arrival online process. Looking forward to using them for our next family adventure.

Negative experience: We used Flower Travel for a trip on the Tran-Siberian Railway. I have waited a few months before posting this - to be as objective as possible and have no intention on writing a emotionally charged unfair review but the reality is we simply had a bad experience. Quite Frankly the customer service and communication was horrendous. Not only was I accused of speaking inappropriately to team members (despite having phone records from Telstra to contradict this) - the support while overseas was terrible - we were left stranded at the airport with no driver, a screaming 9month old baby and no responses from the emergency contacts we were given. When I relayed this to Simon - he made no response or apology. The trip itself was fantastic but having done it I would highly recommend using "Real Russia" all the people we met on the trip who used this had much better options and flexibility and Flower travel seems to mostly repackage their services with no advantage but far more inflexibility and terrible customer service. From what I can figure if you are 50+ than Flower travel may work for you, they certainly seem knowledgable enough - however if you are under 35 don't waste your time - the staff are more the older/conservative/rigid type who don't seem to know how to service a younger demo-graph.

Fantastic experience: I have read Flower Travel's reviews. Superlatives all true. My old school friend and I (we are now in our seventies!) are so thankful that Jenny Flower sent me an email offering us the chance to experience The Kimberley. Jenny offerered some incentives that were impossible to resist. The Kimberley has been on our "bucket list" so of course we said yes. From that moment, Jenny Flower and Simon proceeded to organise everything - air fares, hotel accommodations, travel insurance, transfers and of course the awesome 10 nights boat trip on Coral Expedition 1 from Darwin to Broome. She forwarded all the relevant documents by mail in ample time. My friend lives in N.S.W. so Jenny had to duplicate all the documents so we were both kept up to date. Whenever we wanted to ask a question or verify anything, there would be a swift reply from Jenny via email, and occasionally by phone. It was if you were talking to an old friend. On my return home, there was a welcoming email asking how we enjoyed our trip and had we any photos to share? Big mistake! We have hundreds and hundreds of photos of sunsets, flora and fauna, waterfalls, reefs and extraordinary Aboriginal rock art from millions of years ago. Jenny loves the Kimberley. We loved the Kimberley and you will too. Don't forget to contact the experts at Flower Travel to assist with your plans. You won't be sorry you did.

Fantastic experience: Trans Mongolian Express June 2016 Excellent Service from Start to Finish Professional, very friendly, & extremely Knowledgeable about the Trip with lots of additional information that made preparing for such a big trip across 3 different countries effortless. The Visa assistance was invaluable - didn't have to worry about a thing. I couldn't recommend them Highly enough & will certainly be using them again in the Future.

Positive experience: I have been using Simon as a travel agent for at least the last 5 years. In itself this is unusual for me because in many ways I am a very independent traveller but I have come to respect and trust his advice which is invariably honest and unbiased. Simon knows what he is doing and does it very well. Even more unusual is that all my business with Simon has been either by phone or email - I have never been to his office and wouldn't have any idea what he looks like! Regardless the service has always been the same - excellent and friendly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I am a well travelled person, I have come across many so called travel experts in my time. Rarely am I out gunned on knowledge and experience. Simon, Jenny and Co, are top notch. All of the above should be enough to get my recommendation and 5 stars. But I think the measure of anyone or anything is how they perform in all situations, especially adversity. For a business it has to be measured on how they perform when their customers really need them to go the extra mile. Last year my Father in law fell ill and we needed to get from Melbourne back to the UK urgently, Yes it was that set of circumstances that no-one wants. What complicated things was that we were due to flying for a visit in 4 weeks anyway. It took one phone call and 30 minutes later all was sorted. My wife was on a plane the next day, got to see her dad for those few valuable days and the rest of family got there in time too. Thanks Simon and Co. I strongly recommend you for this alone.....

Fantastic experience: We recently returned from the UK via India and had the best experience. Simon had recommended we stopover in India on the way back from the UK, " why not take in the sights of India and visit the Taj Mahal" he said. Well, we were slightly nervous but with confidence let him organise the trip. What can I say...fantastic, we were met at Delhi airport by professional and courteous tour guides and had the most fabulous time in India. The Taj Mahal was the highlight of the tour, we stayed in great hotels and would certainly recommend visiting India on a trip organised by Flower Travel. Our thanks to Simon and all at Flower Travel for their professional and knowledgeable service.

Fantastic experience: Great travel agency giving prompt and reliable service. Such as searching for the right airline, right route at the right price. What has been particularly valuable to me is their experience and advice on travelling with children. For example hotels, places to visit, children's entertainment and places to steer clear of. Travel insurance and visa advice has also been useful and accurate. I will continue to use this great local service. Sure beats sorting it out ourselves through hit and miss.
