Fantastic experience: Marcus at Fairy Chimneys Travel designed an 18 day program for us to Turkiye and Greece. We cannot more highly recommend a travel company. Having done lots of travel over the years, this was by far the best experience we have had. The itinerary was excellent, the arrangements executed without issue (including flights, hotels, pickups and tours), and the guides and drivers were outstanding and very engaging, obviously proud of their country and their job. We'll be travelling elsewhere with Fairy Chimneys.

Positive experience: Marcus had put together a great itinerary for us with a number of sightseeing suggestions and reasonably priced accommodation in peak season for eastern Europe. Some of the accommodation locations were a little further away from the center but places were accessible by bus and taxi. Very happy with the trip overall and would highly recommend his meticulous and thorough approach.

Fantastic experience: Previously we have planned our own trips, taking hours and hours and (retrospectively) traveling inefficiently. Marcus listened to what we wanted from our trip and set about delivering it accordingly. A couple of times we asked for him to make some changes during the trip (that he had initially suggested) when we realised his approach was better - it was done quickly and efficiently. From the time we arrived in Istanbul until the end of our tour every detail was carefully planned by Marcus. 
Ibrahim and Ergan were constantly in contact via Whatsapps to remind us of our day's tour pick up times and also would enquire as to how we are going. 
The tour guides were very friendly, passionate and very knowledgeable in particular Onur in Istanbul, he was exceptional. 
The drivers were excellent, friendly. Vehicles were modern and high standard.

Fantastic experience: Fairy Chimneys organised our Australia trip in 2023. All was well until Qantas had a technical issue and messed up our flights a day before we were due to fly. Spending 3 hours on the phone to Qantas resulted in us paying extra for new tickets. I informed Marcus ant the Fairy Chimneys and he immediately called Qantas, arranged us tickets with Emirates for the same flight time and got the extra money Qantas charged us, back. Fantastic experience: Fabulous experience! I've just returned from an amazing solo trip, 3 weeks in Turkey organised by Marcus of Fairy Chimneys Travel. As this was a last minute decision, there was limited time. Upon an initial discussion with Marcus on a Friday afternoon, who is very knowledgeable on all things Turkish, I was most impressed to receive a suggested itinerary, flights, tours and hotel suggestions by Monday. The itinerary was fabulous, a mixture of sightseeing, tours, some private others in a small group, mixed with leisure, and free days across multiple locations, which included internal flights. One of the many highlights was staying in a cave hotel in Cappadocia and taking a breathtaking balloon flight, plus a wonderful 5 days spent in Bodrum at the beautiful Titanic Hotel. The Instanbul representative Ibrahim was also outstanding, he was very attentive, keeping in constant contact regarding pick ups, drop offs, checking in internal flights and also ensuring I had arrived safely at each destination, which made me feel I was not entirely alone. From start to finish the holiday worked like clockwork without any hiccups, Many thanks again Fairy Chimneys for this unforgettable experience.

Fantastic experience: My experience with this company has been absolutely fantastic! After going back and forth with several change requests, my consultant remained very professional and patient with me. Before I was recommended to try Fairy Chimney, I tried 2 other well known travel agencies who a) never responded to my initial query, b) after following up, still never got back to me despite saying they would , c) eventually one of them told me that I would need to pay a consultation fee to receive a quote but still never got back to me with a quote. Fairy Chimney’s turn around was pretty much always within a day-and I had a big trip with a few countries and dates that needed to be worked around. He never showed any annoyance and just kept coming back with options. My consultant explained everything in such good detail using language that I would understand as I had some complicated travel arrangement requests…anyway, the list goes on but he was truly great, with the quickest turn around, best service and best prices. I have already recommend him to 4 of our friends-will never use another agent from now on. Thanks heaps FC, I would have black listed me after all my requests!

Throughout the booking process, I dealt mostly with Sami, who was lovely to deal with and always responded to my emails promptly. We booked our flights, tours and transfers through Fairy Chimneys and our accomodation independently. The flights were a much better price by a long shot than any other quote I had received. From the second we landed in Turkey, everything was seamless. We were met in Göreme by Erhan who was lovely. We did a mixture of private and group tours, which were overall of a high standard. Our balloon ride was subcontracted to "Royal Balloons" and Vural was amazing. We did private North and South day tours in Cappadocia and our guide Özgür was phenomenal. We then moved on to Kuşadası. Our Pamukkale group tour was slightly underwhelming in part due to poor instruction and information from our guide, but our Ephesus group tour was fantastic, our guide was very knowledgeable. Our private transfers were punctual and the cars were clean and well maintained. For our stay in Istanbul, our activities were subcontracted to Turkland Travel, and we were very satisfied with all aspects of their service. Fairy Chimneys enabled us to tailor our holiday specifically, and we did not have to worry about a single thing as everything was organized down to the minute. We booked on the Persian Slipper Tour, and found ourselves to be the only travellers on it, so we had a very personal tour with our guide/archeologist. All the bookings and arrangements were seamless, the hotels were superb, especially the MDC Cave Hotel at Urgup, the Ece Saray at Fethiye, the Limani at Canakkale, and we made the Celal Sultan in Istanbul our base for a longer stay.
