Fantastic experience: Half day Kayak Tour to Tollgate Islands! Amazing from start to finish! We had whales coming right up to the kayaks, beats any way watching tour I’ve ever done. Stopped off for a swim and afternoon tea on the way back. Dave and Mike as the guides made for an unforgettable day, photos just don’t do it justice!

Fantastic experience: Went out with the guys on 21/4/24 to the Toll Gates, Batemans Bay. It was an awesome experience. Seen Dolphins, eagles catching fish and to top it off and the highlight of the day was the leatherback sea turtle swimming in and around the kayaks. Just brilliant. If you want a great day out and an experience you will never forget I suggest you go and see the guys at Region X Thanks again

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing kayaking experience for the first time kayakers. Went with my partner and had a blast. We were supposed to go on a guided tour at first, but because there weren’t enough people we had to opt in for a private kayak hire. It turned out to be so much better than a guided tour could have been considering it was our first time. We took a double kayak and having to collaborate on rowing was a beautiful bonding experience. We will come back for one of the guided tours!

Fantastic experience: Great day out! We took our work team out on the Clyde River tour. Started at the Bay bridge and kayaked tide assisted to Nelligen. Josh had organised for our cars to be at Nelligen. There were 16 of us, of all ages and abilities. The tour was informative, fun, and amongst a wonder of natural beauty. Josh and his team were very helpful through the whole process from booking to after the tour was done. Highly recommend the Region X team. Looking forward to the day we can do one of their tours in WA or overseas!

We did the Glass Bottom Tour and it was a beautiful paddeling experience. Our guide Amy was lovely and she did a great Job in guiding, porviding information and make sure that everybody had a great time. 10/10 Recommended.

Fantastic experience: It has been a while since I last did kayaking and this tour (Glass Bottom Kayak Tour - Cullendulla Sanctuary) is a very good refresher with lots of fun! The tour guide is very outgoing and gave everyone very good instruction. I really appreciate how he also provided background to the Cullendulla Sanctuary and stressed the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability. The glassbottom tour was approximately 2.5hrs with decent duration of kayaking, rest and appreciation of the sanctuary. I truly enjoyed the experience and I highly recommend it! ( Also worth mentioning Region X staff are very friendly and helpful while deciding which tour to join. The communication is very clear, with helpful information about the tour, preparation, expectations and meeting point via email. Thank you Region X! )

Fantastic experience: Iced coffee exactly as my wife likes it, my flat white was strong, hot and the espresso in it from good quality beans. The Baked Riccota Cheese Cake was a 10/10 no cream needed, perfectly baked. Friendly helpful staff. Will be back!

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal experience with our guide Warwick kayaking and oyster tasting! Nola did our demo and talk about the history of oyster farming in the area and was just amazing to listen to. Very candid and insightful to hear first hand her and her family's experience living and working in Batemans bay. Our guide was so knowledgeable and patient with us especially for those who has no kayak experience! Stop in after the tour to the Oyster shed for the freshest Oysters with a beautiful view. Would 100% recommend! Thankyou guys!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and it was good that accommodated my dog onto the kayak. Very special to us as it was my pets first kayaking experience. Happy we did that. I would recommend to come early in the morning and will before 10am. Later the weather and current gets tough and it becomes difficult to manoeuvre. However that's not in our control.

They also conduct group kayak tour for local oysters farming which we shall be planning in our next visit. Your experience will be incomplete without a coffee and cheese cake from their café!

Fantastic experience: Incredible experience, a South Coast trip Must-Do!! Definitely a South Coast Trip must do! My husband and I were supposed to do the Glass-Bottom Kayak Tour, but unfortunately there isn't enough participants so we had to do the Oyster Tasting Kayak Tour instead. Being the oyster lover that we are, we don't really mind taking this tour in lieu of the Glass Bottom one. It was an incredible experience from booking until the end! Josh was very accommodating, quick to respond and would always keep us posted about the status and changes to our booking. Garren, our tour guide, was equally fantastic! Was warm, cheerful, friendly, so helpful and very knowledgeable about the place and oyster farming. Jade, who did the demo, was so lovely and impressive! We learned so much about Oyster Farming and how these gems are being bred and raised and all the hard work that was put into it. Knowing all these, I don't think we will ever look at oysters the same way again!

Fantastic experience: This place is excellent. Great coffee, great snacks and amazingly friendly staff. They're happy to help get you completely setup for your kayak hire. They even had a spot to keep my car keys dry in the shed while I kayaked and offered a waterproof floating bag for my phone. Will return.

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful local run small business. They provide great educational, fun and engaging experiences that Support people to learn about and explore the South Coast. The little shop front offers so much to the community as a whole bringing a friendly atmosphere for families and job opportunities for local youth on the south coast. It is non-intrusive to the natural environment and is a credit to local council to support growth and change in the area. I hope the council continues to see the ongoing benefits that local small business bring to the community.

Positive experience: Great coffee. Unfortunately patrons park in the boat loading/unloading area. It would be good if the staff could help. Loading and reversing boats is difficult with kids around and cars parked illegally.. I've seen 3 separate incidents in 4 weeks.

Fantastic experience: Great! Friendly staff behind the counter. I took my toddler kayaking up the river, she loved it. Great prices also, $30 for 1 hour including lifejackets & dry bag. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Great spot to grab a coffee and enjoy it in the open, have a chat and watch the wildlife. I like that there's no fussing here. You can sit on the grass, padded crates or have a wander.

It's great to kayak up the river because it's always calm and there are plenty of beaches to call into whenever you like. Especially good if you like to get away from everything and experience nature close up. Single and double kayaks available.

Fantastic experience: We have been on several kayaking trips with Region X and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a great ocean kayaking experience. Josh is knowledgeable about the local area, and there is a thorough safety briefing before heading off. We have seen some sort of marine life each time we have been out with whales on our latest trip in November. Can't wait for the next one in January.

Fantastic experience: A place where you will have a chance to kayak with stingray. The stingray here is really big. Couples of pelicans as well. Nice view. Nice kayaking experience.
