Fantastic experience: Special thank you to Nikki who has organised an incredible Africa trip for us. All lodges and hotels are magnificent and hand picked. Three safari trips are unique to themselves from Kenya to South Africa and Botswana. Watching elephants crossing Chobe river during sun set was breathtaking. Animals are super friendly if we behave ourselves in close distances. Can’t wait to go back to Africa again and explore other parts.

Fantastic experience: Our group of 4 had 3 weeks in Africa at 3 lodges. All organisation of flights between lodges, lodge accommodation, drivers and guides were all handled by ‘This is Africa’. Fantastic experience: If I could rate 10 stars here I would. The team at This is Africa curated the most incredible holiday for our family - a once in a lifetime trip which was so much more than we could have ever hoped for. The knowledge and experience of the team was exceptional and allowed us to have a tailor-made trip which brought in Victoria Falls, Cape Town and 4 days of Safari in Timbavati game reserve and truly provided a once in a lifetime trip where everything was planned to perfection. We had such a varied and beautifully put together holiday, where we had luxury in a kid friendly environment and saw so much wildlife (lions, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs to name just a few) and so many different landscapes (Table Mountain, Victoria Falls, Zambezi River, Chobe national park, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders beach...). I cannot recommend the service at This is Africa highly enough - we felt in expert hands throughout the whole planning process and throughout our time in Africa... and the holiday itself was beyond what we could ever have expected. Fantastic experience: I traveled to South Africa with Pat and This is Africa in March this year, 2024. We had the most fabulous experience, staying at the luxury Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, Simbavati River Lodge, Simbavati Camp George, Peermont D’Oreale Grande Hotel and - DaVinci Hotel and Suites in Johannesburg and a two-night stay at The Palace Sun City. Every aspect of this trip was taken care of from the moment we arrived at Johannesburg airport. The transport was excellent, guides, trackers and all staff were exceptional, and the itinerary was really well designed giving us time to enjoy the Game Reserves and the beautiful luxury accommodations. I have travelled through many areas in Africa and have never seen so much game and wildlife in one trip / safari. I highly recommend booking with Patrick and his wonderful team at This Is Africa. Fantastic experience: September 2023...What an amazing trip! Thank you Patrick and 'This is Africa' team. South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana were all truly awesome. The entire trip went off without a hitch. We had 10 flights. Every one was on time. At every arrival there was someone to meet us. At no time did we feel unsafe or uncertain. The accommodation everywhere was diverse but beautiful, clean and food fresh and delicious. Our experiences were one offs - All the Big 5, lion cubs, cheetah, herds and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. What an experience!

Fantastic experience: I did a trip with back in June through This Is Africa a few months ago with a local ground Supplier - Prestige Safaris. Some of the most amazing accommodation that I’ve seen. From the fixed camp properties to the luxury villas. They were all so cool and fun to stay The game drives around Chobe were also awesome I had been to Africa before but this trip definitively topped it Highly highly recommend

Fantastic experience: A huge thumbs up and thank you to Pat and the team at This Is Africa for arranging a truly wonderful trip. As first time travellers to Africa we were a little daunted at the itinerary options but Pat and his team created the perfect trip to suit our interests, time and budget. In fact the quality of the overall trip exceeded our expectations. There were four of us on this trip. We travelled for 3 weeks to Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Tanzania (including Zanzibar).Impossible to pick a favorite. Every aspect of our holiday was excellent. Accommodation throughout was great and all our transfers worked perfectly. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. The vehicles were spacious and comfortable with plenty of room to view the wildlife. We had ample time on safari to soak up the beauty of the African landscape and the abundant wildlife and to enjoy a welcome chilled beer at the end of the day. Fantastic experience: We first booked our Africa trip in early 2020 but unfortunately due to Covid’s interference it took us three attempts to finally get there. This Is Africa were excellent in ensuring we did not lose out on our deposits and prepaid flights and were very helpful in re planning and booking our itinerary as needed. Many thanks to Nikki and all the This is Africa staff. Our travels started in Tanzania where our seven day Simba Safari trip exceeded our expectations – fantastic animal sightings, excellent accommodation & food options and extremely friendly & helpful staff. Met some wonderful people to share our experiences with and hopefully to see again on our future travels. Victoria Falls is definitely worth visiting and Ilala Lodge a great place to stay at. If you have the time & money a helicopter ride over the Falls is a must do to really experience the grandeur. The cultural dinner at the Victoria Falls Hotel was a must as well to not only see the view but step back into a time of colonial surroundings in the beauty of the Hotel. At Sabi Sands we stayed at Arathusa Safari Lodge in one of their bush facing suites. Luckily Federal Air Charters provide an easy & professional access option to the lodge with a charter flight from Johannesburg to the Arathusa Lodge airstrip. The lodge and surrounding grounds are gorgeous, the staff & food excellent, and the game drives superb with lots of close up encounters with animals including those who chose to wander through the grounds of the lodge itself. For us this was the highlight of our travels. All up – a brilliant holiday seeing lots and lots of animals in their native environments. Again thank you This is Africa for your help & suggestions in finalising our itinerary with a very special thank you to Nikki for helping us with every part of our planning.

Fantastic experience: I usually make my own travel arrangements & bookings. This time I decided to ask This is Africa to put together an itinerary according to our budget . Nikki was fantastic and it took all the worry out of the small flights& transfers in particular you have to do if you are visiting several camps like with did. Very professional. Communication was great . Totally recommend this company if traveling to Africa.
