Fantastic experience: Callum (Callam?) was an excellent guide and shuttle driver. He was very helpful and friendly, gave us some spot on tips for our runs and we completely enjoyed it. Amazing service and lots of fun to ride in Narooma, i highly recommend using these guys next time you're out shredding Narooma!

Positive experience: The MTB lift shuttle service was good when you could get on the shuttle but it was over subscribed. A lot of waiting. I booked online, if the service was over subscribed your system should have a cutoff. More people came in the afternoon, there were on average 5 people waiting after the shuttle left. This honest feedback is for you to improve your business.

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to hire a bike in Narooma. The electric bikes are easy to use and the staff are friendly and efficient. You hire by the hour. Minimum 2hours. We hired for 2 hours and rode leisurely to Dalmeny and back along the coast. Very beautiful.

Positive experience: Had a great time on the shuttles at Narooma, courtesy of Southbound Escapes! Heaps of fun on the trails. We booked all day, so we had plenty of time to try each of the gravity trails from the top, with a repeat of a couple of favourites, without pushing ourselves too hard. Good tips from the driver regarding which trails to try in which order. The only downside was the highly inconsistent turnaround times. Had a few runs that were, more or less, down and straight back up again. But a few (enough to notice) had a significantly longer wait.

Fantastic experience: We hired the e-bikes for 2 hours, 2 parents and 3 kids and we had the greatest time. Everyone was able to keep up and enjoy the scenery! I could make it up hills which was a first!! Would definitely recommend this and do it again!

Kitted us out with great quality equipment and gave advice on how not to damage ourselves they even babysat my phone which I left outside the shop - legends! Fantastic experience: I rented an e-bike for the Narooma-Dalmeny ride from Southbound Escapes and it was absolutely incredible! There is just beach after beach more beautiful than the last. Perfect time in the season to see lots of whales at all the outlooks and worth taking a little detour to see the Narooma seals. I had an absolute blast. The e-bikes are fantastic - I hadn’t ridden a bike since I was a teenager but was able to easily do the whole ride. 100% must do activity if you’re down here!

Fantastic experience: Booked for myself and 10yo son, was perfect for us. Got plenty of laps in, Callum our shuttler was friendly and approachable and made a few recommendations for us on which runs and how to approach our time. Good times, recommended.

Fantastic experience: Guess the secrets out - Narooma has done an amazing job to create an awesome MTB park! It was made even better by the shuttle service from Southbound Escapes! My son and I were able to make the most of our day without the climbs. Our driver was friendly and made sure everything ran smoothly, providing some great advice, and doing his best to get groups up as quickly as possible. We went on a weekday during Oct school holidays and there were about 16 shuttling. But the driver said it gets super busy over long weekends / school holidays etc. so I would recommend booking in advance. The trails were a great mix of fun and challenge - my son had a great time sessioning Goodbye Gravity! Can’t wait to come back for another session – highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic time as a family taking e-bikes up the Narooma-Dalmeney coast trail. Such a beautiful way to explore this area, and the e-bikes are loads of fun, especially for kids. My son said "out of 10 I give it 100!" We were able to see whales, dolphins, and seals on the ride. Looking forward to doing this again the next time we are in the area.

Fantastic experience: We used the shuttle service on two consecutive days for the Playground Zone MTB trail. Sally was super helpful with the booking and John who drove us went above and beyond to make sure everyone got the most out of the service. A bit of advice, book early for the Gravity Zone service as that sells quickly at peak times.

Fantastic experience: Super happy with our shuttle experience. Quick uplift, no long waits and some good advice. We look forward to riding Narooma again soon and will definitely be taking advantage of Southbounds shuttle service.

Positive experience: Although I appreciate that shuttle services are provided at Narooma bike park, the prices are very steep. Southbound Escape offers half day shuttle for $60. In fact, half day is actually only 3hrs NOT a half day! This shouldn't cost more than $45 a person. Also, in my experience, the first AM shuttle, was loaded by 9.20 when it took off to the drop off spot. A lot of time lost. The wait between the shuttles was around 10min. Also, and more a suggestion, when riders book a full day shuttle, you have to choose a zone, it would be better if riders can book 2 different zones if desired.

Fantastic experience: Quick turn around time on the shuttle. Never had to wait long. Not a big hill but don't be deterred by that. The trails are 1st class. A must ride destination

Fantastic experience: Great friendly team to move our bikes to the top of the mountain to ride the best MTB trails in NSW (Narooma MTB - thanks to the Trail GODS). The guys help load your bikes (in case you are vertically challenged), stock a first aid kit and track pump in case you a feeling a bit flat which you won't be after you ride this awesome venue. Fantastic experience: I used their Shuttle uplift service at Narooma MTB Park. Great service, fast turnaround with 2 x vehicles. Front and rear racks on a Landcruiser Troopy mean easy loading + unloading. Top Tip, if you're over 6', try to get the front seat in the cab as the rear can be a bit squashed (but its only a v short shuttle trip).

Fantastic experience: My wife and myself and a group of mates used the shuttle service for the morning on 2 consecutive days. It was in the gravity area and we all ride ebikes as well. The shuttle service enabled us to have around 10 runs each day whi8ch more than covers that area. That would not be possible on 1 battery. The staff where great and service reliable. Will be using again it is great value

My partner and I had the greatest fun at Narooma MTB park, and there’s no way we would have been able to have anywhere near as much downhill fun if it weren’t for the incredible uplift drivers. Both of them were super friendly and chilled, and very experienced. They were also really efficient and very helpful. I’m way too short to get my bike on and off the vehicle, but they were always there to help me out with it. Absolutely loved the whole experience and can’t wait to do it again. Fantastic experience: We were disappointed with the shuttle service this time. You way overbooked the amount of riders to the number of vehicles. Plus another 3 casual riders turned up taking spaces from those of us that had paid for 3 hours with only one vehicle. The driver Matt did a great job but the riders we spoke to were all very frustrated.

Fantastic experience: The ride was beautiful along the coastline and boardwalk. The e-bikes were the perfect way to experience it. Staff were lovely and very helpful in helping us understand how to use them. 2 hours is the perfect amount of time to ride to Dalmeny and back with stops along the way and even a quick trip to the seals.

Fantastic experience: Well maintained e-bike hire. Minimum 2 hour hire. E-Bikes make the ride so much easier even if you are not “fit”. Café also at this location. Staff were very helpful giving me ideas where to ride. I rode to Kianga, Dalmeny and Bar Rock Lookout (Narooma) TIP: When I visited, there was a discount coupon in a Narooma visitors free book. Even though there website didn’t work at the time maybe it will for you.

Positive experience: Great trails and fun rides. Unfortunately on the first day the driver decided to wrap up 15min before 4pm so didn’t get a full afternoon and the next day the morning was overbooked and we missed a few rides so a bit average experience with the shuttles.

Fantastic experience: The better half and myself were trying out E-Bikes for the first time, and the lovely lady behind the desk couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. She provided advice, maps, suggestions for sights, was flexible with our timings and friendly with all the newbie-questions! 100% recommend using this business for hiring of bikes for the amazing paths around the area.

Fantastic experience: Shuttle service up to the top of the Narooma mtb park is excellent. Two landcruiser troopies run up and down all day and you can either pay $10 per uplift or $60 for the half day. Lifts are pretty quick and the rums are only 2-4kms so you can easily get 6 runs in, in half a day. Friendly drivers and easy to load/unload at either end. Would use them again.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to the amazing driver who worked back to allow us to get value for money. Unfortunately this shuttle was over booked with people jumping in on the day with 10 passes. We were left waiting for 30 minutes because a family’s of 4 has just jumped in on the day. I really feel those passes shouldn’t be used on shuttles that people have pre booked.

Positive experience: Morning gravity shuttle was great fun. Only reason we are rating it a 4/5 is that you are in the back of a land cruiser in bench seats on a very steep fire trail so you slide into others next to you. Shuttles were not quite ready to go at 9.00. Bike rack broke part way through so they exerted our time a little to make up for Taki g less people at a time. It was over Easter so it was extremely busy. A great MTB park

Fantastic experience: Booked in for a half day shuttle with the partner, at the Gravity zone. What a day. ! Think we squeezed in 8-9 runs with the 10th being a long ride back around to the Playground. Uplifts are super quick, often beat the trucks back to the pickup point if you are doing some of the black runs. Two troopies on the day, both hosts were great and more than happy to help with any quieres, also had extra water and basic tools to keep everyone on the bikes. Awesome way to experience Narooma mtb trails. Highly recommend, either half days or full. Best way to enjoy the gravity trails !!

Fantastic experience: One of the best days out riding my bike I've ever had. Great shuttle service for great trails in a great location, friendly drivers and a fair price. I've used a lot of private and group shuttle services over the years and Southbound Escapes' offering is as close as you'll get to a private shuttle experience for a group shuttle cost. Rack your bike, shuttle to the top as soon as the rack is full, send it down the hill, then do it all over again. And again. And again. The pickup point is at the bottom of all of the trails in the Narooma Gravity Zone and they drop you right at the trail head, ready to drop in. I managed 17 runs in one day including a decent break for lunch. I was cooked by the time I was done but smiling ear to ear. Do yourself a favour and get into it!

Fantastic experience: We came back for a second visit and booked shuttles for Saturday and Sunday. Yet again, another first class experience! Can’t speak more highly of the team running shuttles at the Narooma MTB Trails. They were friendly, super efficient and even helped us get the kids bikes on and off the racks. We will be back again for sure. Don’t hesitate to book the shuttles, they will make your day and enjoyment of the trails so much better.
