Fantastic experience: Travel Africa.. your way helped create and organise a really fantastic trip for my group of 4 people to Botswana and Victoria Falls. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris to arrange for us, and having the digital itinerary available while we were there was a godsend. I can totally recommend Travel Africa for all things Africa!

Fantastic experience: This was our second trip organised by Travel Africa. We were a bit apprehensive as this was only our second trip to Africa and we were doing a self drive tour through Namibia. Everything was well organised, we stayed in some fantastic accommodation, the guides and the game reserves we stayed at were outstanding and the amount of wildlife we encountered surpassed our expectations. The self drive component was exactly as Chris had advised and we felt very comfortable throughout the holiday. We would recommend Chris and Travel Africa without any hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Chris at Travel Africa organised our itinerary in a way that exceeded our expectations of a travel provider and gave us confidence in our holiday. From the very beginning of our enquiries, it was clear that Chris' passion for Africa and good customer service exceeded that of other travel providers we also reached out to. In addition, Chris' experience traveling in Africa with young children gave us comfort that the options he put together for our two children would be suitable. Chris put together a custom itinerary that met all our criteria and within budget, and provided a clear rationale for the choices and options we had to consider. We loved spending time at Honeyguide Tented Safari Camp (private reserve near Kruger) in particular, as we had an authentic safari experience in a beautiful location, with an abundance of wildlife encounters and highly experienced guides. In addition, our accommodation in Victoria Falls and the Chobe River provided a different mix of experiences and were conveniently located close to nearby attractions, In addition, the arrangements for internal flights, local tours and transfers between venues and airports made for a smooth and safe experience. Chris was able to tailor a perfect holiday to suit our likes, wishes and budget. Planning a trip to Africa can seem overwhelming due to the number of options, but Travel Africa made it easy. In addition, Jeff provided us with assistance towards the end of the planning process and during our trip which was timely and very helpful. We would highly recommend Travel Africa to anyone considering a trip to Africa.

Fantastic experience: Chris and Sandy helped shape our vague travel idea into a well organised, seamless dream holiday through Namibia and Botswana in an 4 x4 with a roof top tent. All the campsites, guest houses and resorts were perfect. The itinerary was excellent, we saw everything we wanted and so much more. The communication leading up to the trip was outstanding and the detailed itinerary was really helpful. This trip was the best travel experience we have had and that is largely due to the insights, knowledge experience of Chris and Sandy. We can’t recommend this company highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Chris & Sandie were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable in regards to our recent - 29/6 to 8/7 2024 - trip to Cape Town, SA. Their selection of hotels and tours offered perfectly suited our budget and time we had planned for our stay, as well as enough free days to rest/wander. The hotel we chose - The Portswood - is ideally located in the central tourist area close to the V&A Waterfront, a very safe area with plenty of food, shopping, entertainment and transport options. For first-time travellers to this part of the world, we have no hesitation in recommending their services. My wife and I had a marvellous time.

Fantastic experience: Chris & Sandie at Travel Africa are amazing. We had many changes (over 4 years) due to Covid and personal issues but they couldn't have been more accommodating. We covered nearly 3000ks of Sth Africa, Johannesburg, Kruger, Lapalala & Madikwe and had the most amazing trip. Chris & Sandies knowledge is amazing and our trip went without a hiccup. Fantastic experience: Chris at Travel Africa helped organise a very memorable holiday that exceeded our expectations and has well and truly made us fall deeper in love with Africa. Chris organised a fly in and fly out stay at an excellent lodge in the Okavango Delta, followed by a 6 night fully assisted camping experience through the Chobe National Park ending with a wonderful 3-night stay at beautiful lodge Victoria Falls. Each part of the trip provided us with a different and exciting experience, we absolutely loved the lodge experience but also loved the outdoor camping adventure including eating our meals under the stars each night. Each location provided us with exceptional animal viewings, and we were able to see more than we had hoped. All the lodges + local providers he booked provided A+ service. Chris also organised several additional experiences which made our holiday even more perfect with our favourites being a helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls. Chris was able to tailor a perfect holiday to suit our likes, wishes and budget. Everything was planned perfectly, and the entire trip went off without any issues. Planning a trip to Africa can be daunting as there are so many options but Travel Africa made it easy, and the entire holiday was superb. We would highly recommend Chris and Travel Africa & will use their service when we return to Africa hopefully in the very near future.

Fantastic experience: Best decision we made for our Africa trip was appointing Travel Africa as our booking agents. Even though I was born and raised in South Africa, we would NEVER have had the awesome experience we had, if it weren’t for Sandie and Chris. In short, they were incredible! The itineraries were extremely professional, well constructed, and the trip flowed super smoothly from start to finish for the full 2 month adventure! They put us in the most incredible lodges that far far exceeded our expectations time and time again…and everything came in on budget. Their attention to detail is second to non and there is no way that our trip would have been as enjoyable and successful had it not been for their knowledge, guidance and expertise. Fantastic experience: Travel Africa arranged the trip of a lifetime for us to South Africa. We saw more than we’d ever hoped to see, and they listened and provided the trip based on everything WE wanted (and that would have taken a lot of patience with covid and multiple date changes involved!). It was the perfect combination of lodges and self drive , and every location and accomodation was fantastic. The instructions for driving , suggested routes and times / distances and useful info along the way was extremely helpful . It was the best family bonding experience we could have ever hoped for, the teens loved it-even when there was no wifi . Our stay at Kruger was amazing and we absolutely loved the accomodation you booked for us. Our highlights were seeing wild dogs and a rhino on our self drives , and our entire stay at Ekuthuleni lodge for our last few nights . I’m so glad you suggested that, as we all agreed those last three nights there were the icing on the cake! It is absolutely the best place to see rhinos and the whole trip was absolutely perfect

Fantastic experience: The trip you organised for us was amazing! Thank you for making it so seamless. Illala Lodge Hotel in Victoria Falls was outstanding. Our room was beautiful, with a view to the clouds of water caused by the Falls. The air conditioning was great and the restaurant/pool area was lovely too. A la Carte menu was great, and the staff were friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home. We had a drink at the iconic Vic Falls Hotel which was only a 10-minute walk from our Lodge. The transfers and charter flights we so well organised and we had a specific person that looked after all our transfers from picking up our bags to taking us to the airstrip. Chobe Lodge was 5 stars! At Savute Lodge we watched the lions and elephants from our balcony and from the restaurant. Just amazing! The singing and dancing by the locals was so much fun during dinner. The boat safaris were amazing, as was the walking safaris. Being so close to the wildlife exceeded our expectations. At Camp Moremi an elephant walked past our balcony, stopped and ate for a while. We could watch the baboons from our room too. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Our trip was a bucket list big birthday trip that had been delayed by Covid. I had done a lot of research, but wanted the help of an expert travel agent to reassure my husband it was safe to visit Africa. We wanted all transfers taken care off and the best itinerary to cover, Capetown, Vic Falls, and Kruger on a mid range budget. Chris had some great advice, and suggested we add on 3 days to Botswana/Zambezi River to do a couple of days safari there, before the private game reserve at Kruger. It was great to do both a private and National park safari’s, with nice accomodation arranged by Chris and everything taken care of. The itinerary was arranged in such a way that worked so well and built up the excitement of our safari’s. We saw the big 5 and made lifetime memories. We went with another couple and felt like we were on a private tour customised just for us…which is how it was! Chris is responsive and quick to act if any help needed, and we would all recommend Travel Africa You Way. You wont be disappointed

Fantastic experience: We cannot thank Chris and Sandie enough for the trip they organised for us recently to Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa. Everything they organised went really smoothly, and we saw some incredible sights, experiences beyond our expectations. The accommodation and hospitality were wonderful, and we really appreciated their willingness to listen, and their advice for slightly nervous first-time visitors to the African continent. Fantastic experience: We have just returned from an incredible adventure starting in Victoria Falls then driving a rented 4WD for a week through Botswana from Kasane to Maun, and then flying to Selinda Reserve for a three night stay, followed by five nights in Capetown. Our vehicle rental, accommodation and other detailed arrangements were all organised by Travel Africa and everything went according to plan. Fantastic experience: Our 25 nights on self-drive safari was the major highlight of our whole 3 month Africa and Europe experience. We had never done any 4x4ing, nor been to those countries before, so we put ourselves in Travel Africa's hands and they delivered! We were consistently impressed with the smooth logistics and excellent choice of accommodations. They even took care to select us prime individual campsites (or tents) within each property where relevant. The itinerary document they provided was very helpful - in fact we found the written directions easier to follow than Tracks4Africa and more reliable than google maps. The suggestions on what to do in each place were also a great starting point. Having not been to the region before, the choices for what to do and where to stay were a bit overwhelming, but the itinerary Travel Africa put together for us was a perfect balance between wildlife and culture, parks and towns, remote and luxurious. We can't wait for the next time and heartily recommend them!

Fantastic experience: We’ve just come back from an amazing holiday visiting Kruger, Victoria Falls, Botswana and Cape Town. We wanted to do a self-drive drive through Botswana so that we could spend as long as we wanted to at each place to give us a chance to take some photos. Chris from Travel Africa arranged all of the bookings for us and provided us with a very thorough guide for everywhere we went. It made it so easy. The accommodation was just what we needed, and vehicle hire and transfers were seamless. Kruger was great, our time through Khwai, Moremi and Chobe were fantastic. We saw lots of game. One of the highlights was Magotho, where we had daily sightings of lions and leopards driving along the Khwai River. We saw heaps of elephants, hippos, zebras, buffaloes and even painted dogs. We also have some really good photos to remember it. Another, highlight was Thobolo’s on the edge of Chobe National Park, it was beautiful sitting on the veranda eating dinner watching the animals come for their daily drink. It was an incredible trip all round. We can't thank Chris from Travel Africa enough for all of his assistance in preparing our holiday. Especially, as we had the whole trip organised for May next year and at the last minute brought it forward to September this year. Thank you, it was a great time away. We are already thinking of where to go for our next one. Too many options..

Fantastic experience: Our family of four just returned from a 30 day self drive camping trip from Windhoek to Johannesburg via Botswana and Victoria Falls. After trying (and failing) to organise my own itinerary I contacted Travel Africa Your Way and had the trip planning done by Chris. I cannot recommend Chris highly enough, he has been extremely helpful and provided excellent route planning and communication through the whole process of the trip. The fact that he has travelled to Africa extensively with his own three children really helped to dispel any fears about travelling with our own primary aged kids. His input allowed us peace of mind and ease of decision making which was highly valuable as we drove 8000km across countries we were unfamiliar with. We have returned from Africa with a definite want to return in the not so distant future!

Fantastic experience: Chris from Travel Africa Your Way organised the holiday of a lifetime for us in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Kenya. Everything went like clockwork, not one single glitch, and we had the time of our lives, saw everything - baby rhino playing in the rain, leopard, heaps of ellies, hippos, lions hunting, beautiful birds and gazelles, giraffes, hyena prowling through the camps at night, beautiful sunrises and sunsets...just amazing. The mobile camping safari in Botswana was exactly what our family was looking for. It was the best - hot, dusty and dry but the team from Bushways were incredible and we saw more game in Botswana than Kenya. We loved being so remote and coming in to camp in the evenings to the wonderful aroma of KK's cooking. That man could work wonders with a cast iron camp oven. Seeing Kilimanjaro was a dream come true. I burst into tears of happiness when the clouds parted and there was the snow. We are ready to do it all again. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for Travel Africa Your Way.

Fantastic experience: Have just returned from a fabulous trip to the Okavango Delta, Botswana and South Africa with friends from Aus and the UK - what a magical journey! I am well-travelled and normally a great planner, but 15 months out, the thought of trying to organise journeys across the great continent of Africa from Australia was just a bit too challenging, until I stumbled across Chris and Travel Africa Your Way in Sydney! Fantastic experience: We have travelled to Arica three times now with Chris organising our itineraries. We have always been delighted with the result. We have travelled to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana. Each trip has been very different and we have really enjoyed each one. We spent the last two weeks travelling to some of the lesser known game parks and Chris did a fantastic job with all the bookings including car rental! Fantastic experience: We used Travel Africa to organise a two week trip from the UK. Chris and Sandie put together an itinerary they knew would suit us and our three children (13, 11, 8). When we made some changes it was no problem to them to accommodate them. The trip went very smoothly from start to finish with the highlights being the water park at Sun City and the time spent in Kruger. Only slight downside is that Sun City to Kruger is a long, long way... but then we knew that anyway and the views en-route were great as we neared Kruger. Will use Travel Africa again and recommend them to you.

Fantastic experience: There was a time that we felt a trip to Africa to see the wildlife was beyond our means - but Chris and Sandie from Travel Africa Your Way allowed us to realise our dream holiday. We travelled with our two teenage children and spent two weeks on a self drive safari around Kruger National Park, South Africa. We watched herds of elephants and wildebeest and had a few close encounters with lions and rhino. The bookings and organisation were seamless and I felt that the personal touch of being able to contact them when we were worried about what to pack was the icing on the cake!. Fantastic experience: Our family of four (kids 12 and 10 years old) just had a fantastic few weeks in beautiful South Africa, taking in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Cape Town and Kruger National Park. What an amazing trip! Fantastic experience: Our family of 4 has just returned from six magical weeks in South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland. Fantastic experience: We were fortunate enough to discuss with Travel Africa our desire to go to Namibia. Considering we were only able to go at peak season at very late notice, Chris was able to put together an amazing trip which combined the dunes in the south, to Damaraland and then onto Etosha. Everything was organised without any problems and communication second to none. As far as the trip itself it was everything we had dreamt of and more ! Already looking to go to Botswana next year with Travel Africa ....
