Fantastic experience: Loved the company, Kate’s great water colour painting instruction and encouragement, the fabulous scenery and places we visited to paint. A real highlight and never to be forgotten experience!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have taken two French Fusion trips and have loved both of them. Recently we joined the French Fusion trip to the Loire Valley with Ian Fennelly and found it one of our best vacations ever! Everything was perfectly organized (Kate is supreme at managing group events), and French Fusion seems to attract only happy, fun-seeking, travelers who enjoy meeting new people. Food and accommodations were delightful. We are looking forward to another French Fusion trip soon and I highly recommend a French Fusion tour to anyone seeking a relaxing, fun, and well-structured vacation.

Fantastic experience: A magical, whimsical stay in a Chateau in the South of France with like minded people, fresh locally sourced food, balmy nights dining outside and the two most incredible hosts; Kate Stedman, the hilarious historian and Ian Fennelly, the master teacher of water colour. A dream of a trip!

Fantastic experience: It has been one of the absolute joys of my adult ( grown up) life to join Kate on two of her sketching tours… one in France ( Paris to Loire Valley) and to Historic Castlemaine, Victoria Australia. Kate and her wonderful sketching tutors are unparalleled in their artistic guidance as well as local historical and cultural knowledge. Kate is intelligent, extremely well informed and witty - and knows all the “ just right” places, making the whole experience not only ‘moment by moment’ incredible but also change the way you travel! Kate does what slow food did to the food movement… travel (and living) becomes an observational deep dive into architecture, colour, gardens, history and story while expressing your own creativity and growing one’s sketching and painting skill. Afterwards affected by travel experiences that are savoured, recalled, and revisited through the pleasure of the sketches and vignettes created, I now have been inspired to follow my heart and be “artist” again whenever I choose! Eternally grateful that my darling friend Shelley introduced me to Kate and her wonderful world of travel sketching and watercolour painting!

Fantastic experience: Travelling to France with our guide Kate, was a wondrous experience. Everything was organised expertly with a dose of fun. Amongst other things, we rode a segway around Paris, cycled around Versailles and explored the underground sewers. Kate is fluent in French which meant that she could tackle any situation like a native. She organised the restaurants, transport to the next part of the holiday and made it all so easy for our group. My daughter and I had an adventure and a lot of fun. We would recommend French Fusion Travel to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Kate’s sketching workshops have all been terrific. All the hotels have been ideally situated and very comfortable. Kate is very well prepared and little is left to chance. She is very organised, helpful and looks after us very well. Her tours are always informative and lots of fun.
