Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend Krystal highly enough. She planned our holiday to Fiji with care and expertise and added lovely touches which were greatly appreciated. Her customer service is both personal and professional at the same time. Will not go anywhere else from now on to plan our trips.

Positive experience: Visited Travel Associates again after a very positive experience in 2022 just after the borders opened when booking flights to Europe. I was clear when making my appointment this time that I only wanted flights again and nothing else. Unfortunately, the consultant I saw was not that interested in just providing this type of service, despite me being clear about this prior to the appointment. I went elsewhere and saved myself a bit of money on the flights and didn’t feel as if I was wasting someone’s time. It was disappointing after such a good experience before.

Fantastic experience: My recent experience with booking a holiday via TA Norwood was excellent, from start to finish. Silvi made me feel truly valued. As well as booking us in for great experiences and connecting us with great travel insurance, Silvi thought of all the small matters I might need to consider in my situation, travelling as a single parent with a child. Silvi even shared in my excitement for my trip! I’m looking forward to the next holiday I can book through TA Norwood!

Negative experience: Poor service and very unprofessional. Never got back to me after our meeting when I was trying to plan a family holiday to Japan. When I called to enquire they told me that they were inundated with work and was not apologetic that they left me with little to no time left to plan our trip.

Fantastic experience: The staff at this store are fantastic. We have used them countless times for several holidays and will continue going back. The girls are all polite, helpful and really know their stuff - they have suggested many different tours and destinations and we've loved them all. Gretta has taken care of quite a bit of International travel for me throughout the pandemic - she is magic when it comes to finding me the best option, quick to respond to my 100 emails & thorough when it comes to deciphering destination testing / entry requirements. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend using Travel Associates to book your next holiday. We recently used them and found the whole process seamless. Even when flights were cancelled due to Covid issues, Travel Associates jumped onto it straight away and emailed us the 2 options so all we had to do was select our choice and they took care of all the details. Silvi was amazing at suggesting activities and provided lots of stories from the destination we were set to visit, sparking our excitement. Got to say I also highly recommend Hamilton Island for a holiday! It was spectacular and so much fun exploring this stunning part of the world!

She put together an awesome 13 day Northern Territory holiday for my partner and I within a couple of days and everything went really smooth. She checked in along the way to make sure I was happy with everything, which I thought was great customer service. I highly recommend her and her team Well done.

Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough of Krystal and her team. Due to covid, our holiday including 2 flights, 6 apartments, car hire and insurance had to be cancelled within 48 hours of leaving. Thank goodness I didn't have to attempt that myself as I was not well enough. Krystal and her team took care of it quickly, calmy and kindly, advising us of the outcome first by phone and then with a follow up email. Almost all refunded with only the flights credited, which is fine. Thank you Krystal.

Fantastic experience: The staff in this office are exceptional. Their commitment to doing the absolute best for their clients is uncompromising. A recent emergency trip to the UK was organised with a speed and efficiency that were truly amazing. The difficulties of getting back to Australia added to the pressure but the Wonder Women at Travel Associates navigated every issue that was getting in the way. I could not have managed this trip without them. They will be my travel agents for as long as I plan to travel. Deepest thanks and appreciation.

Due to the border lockdown I had to apply for the travel exemption and Silvi helped me to get an exemption approval in just few hours which is absolute amazing. She guided me through all the requied documents and directing me to the right resource. Now I am safely travelling to Korea. She is also helping me to travel my dogs to fly to Korea. I just can't thanks enough to her excellent service.

She gives me realistic timelines of when to expect reimbursement, and done her absolute best to advocate for me with the cruise line. Could not be more grateful to have such a supportive travel agent. Will 10/10 be coming back once travel re opens!

Negative experience: We had our cruise cancelled due to covid and that is where the fun started ,trying to keep money from our cruise money was 1 thing after another until we finally found out after about 8 weeks it was decided that yes a full refund after many back and forth emails . Then we were told it had to go back on the card we paid it on which mine was a credit card that the travel agent set up for me to pay mine off as i had already paid it off i asked for deposit into my other account which was declined . Then on the 15/6 were told we were getting refund its now the 22/6 still no money and gretta the girl i dealt with said i had been rude ,dam right i have been so unorganised and so unproffesional they have been, its a joke.defiently want use this company again or recommending them to anyone

Positive experience: Certainly on a "go slow" with a recent cruise refund. 8 weeks blew out to 12........ Time includes 3-4 weeks from their head office to the Norwood branch to me.

Sonia has arranged a family holiday trip around America for my husband and I and 6 others all including different flights, hotels and attractions/tours for each person, while also organising our honeymoon and an anniversary trip to Hawaii as well as trips interstate all tailored to our budget. Value for money is important to us. Our regular travel experiences since then have been first class. She is organised, saves us money whenever she can, is extremely knowledgeable about all manner of things, well travelled herself, easy to talk to, always amenable, dependable and resourceful. Negative experience: Unprofessional and unreliable, lack of knowledge. I have logged an offical complaint visa atas. Why you called yourself travel agent when I found the cheaper flight and found my visa application office myself. Hope other travelers are aware of that. NEVER COME BACK. Let me know your experience ans we should not be punished because they made mistakes.

Fantastic experience: We booked our trip to Koh Samui with Magda Kordysz at Escape Travel in Norwood. She was simply the best travel agent I heave ever met. Negative experience: Very disappointing service. Avoid making your travel plans with this business. Escape Travel made numerous mistakes in our travel arrangements which resulted in inconvenience, out-of-pocket expenses, and frustration during our honeymoon: 1. International flight between Canada and Hawaii was booked 2 days before the date shown on our itinerary. Upon arriving at the airport and discovering the mistake we were forced to purchase replacement flights on our own credit card. 2. The out-of-pocket expenses for this flight purchase were never refunded in full, with Escape Travel only refunding the amount shown on the flight purchase receipt in Canadian dollars, converted to Australian dollars at an exchange rate favourable to Escape Travel. The difference in exchange rate meant we were short changed, despite having to pay for replacement flights out of our own pocket to make up for Escape Travel's mistakes. 3. The aforementioned "short-change" refund took more than a month to process, leaving us out-of-pocket for an extended period of time. 4. Our quote included a private vehicle transfer from the Banff ski fields to Calgary International Airport in Canada, and we booked and paid in full for this premium service 6 months in advance. However, when we tried to confirm this private vehicle transfer in Canada, we discovered that we had instead been booked on a bargain basement Greyhound bus service. Escape Travel did not refund us for the extra money we paid for the private vehicle transfer. We can only assume the difference in price between the bus tickets and private vehicle transfer was collected by Escape Travel or one of its suppliers. 5. In the week before we departed the travel consultant that we booked our holiday through went on an extended holiday break without contacting us to pass on our travel documents. When we contacted the office ourselves to collect the documents from another staff member, there were errors in the flight bookings that we needed to identify ourselves and correct before leaving. It was apparent that the itinerary had not been checked for accuracy before being handed over to us. Overall, a very disappointing, expensive, and frustrating experience booking our honeymoon through this company, and we hope that others can avoid similar issues by reading this review.
