Fantastic experience: A wonderful day spent in and around Hobart with Drink Tasmania Premium Tours. This tour is absolutely perfect for anyone looking for more variety than just a winery tour or a brewery tour. Why choose just wine or beer, when you can have wine, cider, vodka, gin, whiskey and beer!! And it is an absolute must that you get the applie pie at Willie Smith's! Our tour guide, Tim, started the day with an acknowledgement of country, and this is my first experience of a tour guide doing this. Thank you, Tim. I hope to see more tour guides doing this. Tim was welcoming, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour :) Each venue we visited was lovely and provided delicious drinks to taste (and purchase!), and each host really added to the overall experience. If you fancy a drink, this tour is for you!!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had an amazing day with Peter. He was very knowledgeable but above all a round nice guy and your left feeling like your part of the tour not just in the audience. Fantastic experience: Tim was a great driver and advisor. We went to 4 wineries and tasted 32 wines.Plus a coffee to start with and a cheese board as a base. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour but we're simply overwhelmed by the sheer number of fine wines. Tasmania is certainly becoming a mature Australian wine region. Nevertheless, I still don't like chardonnays.

Fantastic experience: I did 2 tours with drink Tasmania on a recent quick break to Hobart. Both were excellent. Whiskey tour - Learnt a heap about Whiskey making from 4 distillers from relatively large scale to completely boutique small run distillers. The passion these folk have for their art (product) is amazing. Tastings were very generous and Peter (our guide) made the day alot of fun and was extremely knowledgeable about Tassie and the history of the place and where we were venturing to. Signature tour - This one gives a great overview of what is made in Tassie. Winery, cideries, distillery and brewery all in one day. Again, our host Tim was alot of fun as well as very knowledgeable about where and what we were seeing and more importantly tasting. Tastings were again very generous and the the staff very knowledgeable about their products and happy to talk about what they do. Its worth noting that at no point was there pressure to make purchases on either of the tours I took, although I did dent the card at a couple of places with no regrets :) Both tours were punctual and well organised as well as being a relaxed day through some beatiful countryside.

Fantastic experience: I booked a group tour for 23 people to mark my 40th birthday and had the most wonderful day. Our host Dan was lovely and friendly and kept us on schedule while being a dream to deal with. Most of my guests were from interstate and everyone raved about what a perfect day it was. As the person organising it, I have to say it was a pleasure at every step and I wouldn’t hesitate to book something again. Thank you to the entire team, I appreciate the effort you put in to making it the perfect day.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic in everyway. I would highly recommend Peter and his crew. Craft tasting venues chosen - ten out of ten. We loved the variety of places chosen, from small to medium sized. Variety - ten out of ten. Vineyard, cider, vodka, gin, and whiskey to give a great mix of what Tassie offers. Accommodating - I have foods I can't eat plus the end of the day was changed to a different venue due to the weather. Both areas were done to listen to our tour group I loved the areas we went to and what we saw and experienced. Peter gave us great background to the venues we went to. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed My wife and I would definitely use them again Lettuce make gin!!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I went on the whisky tour on our honeymoon and he’s saying it’s the highlight of his week (hope that didn’t include our wedding… but given how great the tour was I’m not sure) Pete took us around 3 distilleries over a day and we had a blast. His knowledge of the industry as well as personal relationships with all the distillers meant we got info, tasting and great banter - exactly what you’d want. Lunch was delicious and sitting by the fire at the Drink Tasmania tasting house in Richmond was perfection. Great whisky, great company and great tour - would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic experience: From the moment we connected with Peter at Drink Tasmania we experienced the warmth and generosity of Tasmanian hospitality. This carefully curated tour for our group of 9 guests was the perfect way to see some of the best producers of food, wine, whiskey and the wonderful natural landscape surrounding Hobart. Our tour guide Tim was a wonderful host and made the experience all the more special. The vehicle was comfortable and pristine and the journey overall was a wonderful experience we'll cherish. Fantastic experience: I took the Gin and Whiskey tour with Tim on my recent trip to Hobart and it was such a lovely day! Tim is a friendly, intelligent, good humoured gentleman who showed us the best of an industry he clearly loves, and was happy to talk technical details or just make recommendations for us travellers on the bus. Our presentations at 4 distilleries were all vastly different, but I really felt like we were given a snapshot of places with different approaches and personalities. This is an expensive tour, but it was truly worth it. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We have now done 2 tours over the last 12 months and on both occasions we have had a fantastic experience. Our latest one was a private tour to 3 Distilleries plus a lunch at Derwent Estate. Food was amazing. Tim our tour guide was a great bloke too. Would highly recommend Drinks Tasmania.

Fantastic experience: We did the Signature Tour. Right from the very start Peter was an amzing guide and host, with intelligent, witty and informative commentary for every part of the day. Rather than a guide and tour, we quickly were made to feel like old interstate friends who were being shown around his favourite places now we had finally been able to visit. A very special experience.

Fantastic experience: Tim was exceptionally knowledgeable about all of our visits and the area in general. Extremely friendly and this created an atmosphere that was most enjoyable. The selection of venues was diverse and all allowed us to sample excellent products!

Fantastic experience: Highly Recommended! Where do I begin! Right from the get go, Pete and his team have just wowed us! The experience from start to finish made us feel like we knew the team, were close to them and not once did we find it weird or strange! The exception service from the beginning starting with the booking to the coffee on the tour day was the perfect start. Just getting to know us (and others) and makes the whole journey more personable, and more enjoyable. It was fantastic! The tour for the day had a set agenda, however it was completely flexible - as some areas we stay a tad longer vs others - it goes to show the relationship Drink Tasmania has with all the various distillers! We were lucky to have Pete and he was just brilliant and we felt right at home! Some of the tasting we had was just, Oh Wow! You will never get to try some of the amazing stuff - or the so called 'secret stuff'. I won't give much more away, but all I can say is I highly recommend anybody to go with Drink Tasmania. PS - There is a bar in Richmond from Drink Tasmania, please go check it out! totally Rad!

Fantastic experience: Great treat up to Freycinet from central Hobart, with two guided walks up there to see Wineglass Bay and the Hazards. Lunch with local wines, and a wine tasting on the return journey we're great. Would definitely recommend if you like walking and wine :-)

Fantastic experience: This was such a great tour. We visited four excellent wineries for generous tastings. Lunch stop was a fantastic cafe in a lovely little township. The chocolate and wine tasting was very unique. Tour guide Tim was friendly and knowledgeable and bus was very comfortable. All in all a great day.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful day on the Whisky tour with our guide Peter and the other guests. The distilleries we went to were very interesting, the drinks were tasty and the people who work there are nothing but amazing (especially Lower Marsh and the Derwent Distillery). It was well worth the flight just to attend and I look forward to my next experience with Drink Tasmania!

At one of the tastings we even got to meet the husband and wife team...so passionate in what they were doing and prizewiners too. Definite do not miss if ur in Hobart!

She was super knowledgeable, great with people, and made it an amazing and relaxing experience for us. The venues themselves were excellent - the staff were all great and the samples were all delicious… A great way to experience the variety of beverages Tassie has to offer!

Fantastic experience: A fantastic experience which both my husband and I enjoyed very much. Best part of our holiday to Hobart, to be honest! Emma was a fantastic guide who went out of her way to make the tour a great day out for everyone. Her knowledge about wines and the wine making process was top notch, and she was very accommodating of our group who got a bit "distracted" along the way! I would highly recommend this tour if you want to get around to see some amazing wineries and taste many delicious wines.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Drink Tazzie for hosting us on a recent wine tour in Tazzie. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Tazzie. Kate was just fantastic in organising the perfect day for us for my husbands 50th birthday celebrations. Kate was Super friendly & a great communicator, and co-ordinated a great mix of cellar doors to visit. Jeremy & Scotty were great guides on tour - showing extreme patience (especially as we got progressively louder as the day progressed) Great day out & I will be recommending to all of my friends to get onboard a Drink Tazzie tour.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience! We had a private tour with Jeremy and it turned into a one time only experience. Meeting the Distillers, asking every question about whisky and drinking some amazing whiskey! Everyone involved in the operation were great, from the administrative staff who were extremely accommodating, the owners who were a great laugh and of course our amazing guide Jeremy. Fantastic experience: My husband and I did the Signature Tour with Dan yesterday and had a wonderful time! Dan was incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited and the drinks they served, as well as being easy-going and friendly! We found it was a good mix of wines, ciders and spirits, so there's something for everyone. A shout out to Kate too who was lovely over the phone and made sure dietary restrictions were passed on. We'd recommend Drink Tasmania if you're wanting to do a tour while in Hobart!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had a wonderful day with Drink Tasmania Tours touring and tasting wines at a number of venues in and around Hobart. Far too many to see in one day, but the ones we saw were a good cross section. We started the day meeting other travellers and Patrick,our guide. Patrick filtered the conversation about our preferences to then design the day around our likes. Patrick was friendly and knowledgeable about all things wine from the original plants and cutting, growing, harvesting and all stages of production to the final product. He even provided hints and tips about serving options and choices for foods etc to pair perfectly. We tasted and enjoyed many wines, had a relaxing lunch and finished the day a lot wiser and quite happy about our adventure. Overall a great day, good value and a fun experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I bought my partner a Whisky Full Day Tour voucher knowing that I (not much of a whisky drinker) would also go on the tour with him, I didn’t know how I would find it. You could say that I was prepared to take one for the team. I went in with an open mind and it turned out to be an awesome adventure, not just because of all of the tastings (too many to count and very generous pours). Pete our tour guide was a legend, his general history knowledge and insight into the wine & spirit industry was very interesting. I didn’t worry about a thing for the entire day; drinks, food, transportation and entertainment were all taken care of. All of the venues were super accommodating as well. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: It was our 20th Anniversary, so special was required! We had a private custom tour just for us. I found the whole company brilliant, easy going and fun to deal with right from booking through to the day of tour. The day was really great; 3 wineries, the tasting center owned and operated by Drink Tasmania and a gin distillery with lunch at winery number 3. Jeremy was our driver and was a joy; fun, knowledgeable and organised. We felt safe at all times, looked after and welcomed by all the stops along the way. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic experience: What a fabulous day :D Highly recommend this tour - my husband and I did the Drink Tas Signature tour and were blown away at the day and how many stops were done. We tasted wine, gin, whisky, vodka, liqueurs, beer and learnt so much around it all. The lunch was at Willie's Apple shed and the food was fantastic. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made it such a fun experience. We had a total of 6 in our tour so was lovely and intimate and the group all got along really well. If you can make the time. this tour is a great way to see a lot of Tassie and drink all at the same time.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I did the signature tour with Patrick yesterday. It was only a small group of us but so personalised! Pat took the time to get to know us all and what we enjoyed drinking. We were shown some great winery’s and brew houses and it was an overall smooth and enjoyable experience!!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely loved this tour. Ben was an absolute wealth of knowledge of all things Tasmanian, whether that be booze, landmarks or dining/drinking out. Everything to the letter was perfect from the breakfast whisky to the very cute lunch in Richmond. All of the distillery staff, owners and makers were super attentive, receptive and passionate which made the whole day even more enjoyably. Worth every dollar, if we’re ever back in Tasmania you better believe we’ll do another tour.

Kate was warm and friendly and orchestrated a cracker tasting trip and Emma was so full of knowledge And so professional the whole trip was incredible. I did it for my mum’s 80th. Do yourself a favour - just book the trip. You will love it. Make sure to have Nano teach you about wine at the Italian Vineyard, and lunch at Derwent. Yum yum yum. ❤️❤️

It was an amazing day, visiting Hobart Whisky, the Drink Tasmania tasting house, Killara and Battery Point distilleries. Fantastic experience: What a fun day out! I don’t think I stopped laughing and drinking wine especially at the Craigow winery. Lots of fun and must to see some of Tasmania’s lovely wineries!!

Negative experience: Not good service. I was meant to join a group of friends but had to withdraw one day after signing up. I was initially offered a voucher with a 1 year validity which I couldn't use. I had to point out their website had a $49 cancellation policy as the office person didn't seem aware it. $49 is too much for cancelling 1 day after booking (and this fine print is not something that people usually check). If you're 100% sure that you can make your tour maybe these tours are ok but otherwise I'd go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Unreal day! We chose the Tesla tour with two friends and it did not let us down. We were treated to a great selection of distilleries and vineyards. It's was a fantastic time. Not having to worry about driving and being treated to great insights and conversation by our tour guide was a treat and we had the perfect day for it. By the end of the tour we had our fill of great whiskies and were rapped with the tour. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: We did the Signature Tour with Taz. It was amazing and a great variety of places were visited. Taz was a bundle of knowledge and a great personality. Highly recommend this tour if you want to try what Tasmania has to offer in wine, whiskey and ciders. Thanks Taz!

Fantastic experience: The whole day whisky tour was an excellent experience mainly thanks to Patrick who is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly.

Positive experience: Very lovely tour we did beer, gin, whiskey, cider and wine for the whole day. Dan our tour guide was a lovely professional funny guy, who gaves us very lovely talks and explainations on how to make alcohol plus Tasmania history. Counted 30+ drinks that we have tasted. Definitely worth to do the tour and definitely money for value!!!! Would recommend to change one of the cider places ( that's the only reason why we didn't give 5 stars)

Fantastic experience: Wonderful tour, all destinations were amazing! Really enjoyed the pagan cider brewery & the tour at the spring bay distillery. Lunch was also fantastic. Our tour guide Gino was brilliant, friendly, kept us well entertained and was full of great knowledge about the history of distilleries and breweries in tasmania. Can't beat the value for money here!

Fantastic experience: Tim was our guide and he was amazing! We were super lucky and had the whole tour just the two of us. I counted all the shots that I had, and it was 23... ha! Amazing tour and I am so glad that I did it. My wife who's not a strong drinker also loved the tour :) You Tasmanian are amazing and we will most definitely recommend this tour to any and everyone.

Fantastic experience: Our host Peter gave us a fun trip around Southern Tassie sampling some wonderful Gins. We had a superb lunch at Bangor Vineyard and sample a swag of top wines here as well. Our trip finished of with a fresh Gin Cocktail at Gold Bar in Hobart.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic time on the Signature Tour yesterday. What sets this tour apart from others on offer is the variety of drink styles. Wines, craft ciders, gin, whisky and craft beers. Our lunch stop at Willie's Cider was a highlight. Geno our guide was so friendly and kept a good vibe going throughout the day. Thanks again!
