Fantastic experience: What a great experience. Staff were helpful, accommodating and informative. We snorkeled on Oct 23, Karinda (spelling?) was an incredible help to us and made our snorkeling experience a huge success. There was so much to see. We got to visit two sites. Lunch was provided and it was enjoyable. Staff provided an info session about the reef system and we enjoyed the ride back to the marina. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: 5-star experience through and through! Welcomed with a smile everywhere we go, both on land when we book the tour (thanks Jo!) and on board (beautiful service by Marco and Team). Not a single moment I felt anything was amiss, there’s always a crew member around ready to assist, even when snorkeling in the ocean. Superb safety precautions, beautiful and clean vessel. Saw 2 reef sharks and beautiful marine life on both reef locations. Meal is beautiful too. Won’t go with any other tours next time we’re in town!

Fantastic experience: So I booked this solo tour for my birthday and it was by far the best decision I've made. Also, this was my first time snorkelling and scuba diving (intro dive). The day started off with instructions around snorkelling and scuba and there was a crew member who was patient enough to answer all my questions. Once we got to the reef I started with snorkelling, my mask was not secure properly and so a crew member was kind enough to help me and also take me around with the help of a float. (sorry I can't remember his name but he was serving drinks at the bar as well.) He was also kind enough to provide me information about the Coral and the fishes. My dive instructor was Marco and I cannot thank him enough for making the dive worthwhile as I was definitely nervous. During our second snorkelling session Emily was kind enough to take me around the reef and I saw a sea turtle up close!! It was incredible. I'd also like to thank Andy for taking such amazing pictures and phoebe who buckled us all in for the dive! And finally I'd like to thank each and every crew member for the support provided. I wasn't sure what to expect out of the tour but it definitely exceeded expectations! Thank you so much! I'm definitely recommending passion of paradise

Fantastic experience: Very good trip to the reef. Crew was very helpful, food was delicious and we had 2 very nice snorkling locations. While snorkling, there was a limited zone to swim in. That means you're always surrounded by people & couldn't explore the full reef. That's however perfectly understandable as the group is big and safety is priority. Fish are not scared and there is more than enough to see, so not really a problem. I have done the introductionary dive. Was a perfectly safe trip for a first time, but still very interesting and exciting. Saw a turtle. Also really appreciated the marine expert giving explanation on the way back.

Fantastic experience: Best snorkel trip I've ever been on. It starts on the boat which is a very spacious catamaran with plenty seats for everyone, both inside and outside. Good briefings from all the personnel afterwards depending on your activity. The trip to the reef was 2 hours (Hastings Reef this time) which is a bit long but 200% worth it. I saw hundreds of fish in all colors, lots of reefs and even a shark. Visibility was perfect. It's a good idea to time it with lunar and tide activities. Equipment is necessary as well ofc. I use glasses but to my surprise they also have googles with prescription, so i could easily see everything. Sting suite and flips were also top notch. We did two separate dives, both at amazing locations with good attentiveness from the staff at all times. Swam around with my wife all the time, and we got help with equipment when/if needed. Lunch was lovely, big buffett with salads and good food. To top it off, they give a very informative and interesting presentation on coral reef, fish, climate challenges and more on the way back. 10/10 experience, fully recommend for everyone, both experienced and new

Negative experience: It was my first time diving, it was my dream to see the Great Barrier Reef. There were three of us in the group and two of us couldn't do it because the instructor was very rude and even though she knew we had no experience, on the first try she told us "if You can't do it, you better get out of here." Two of us felt very frustrated by the treatment we received. For me, it was the worst attention I have ever received in my life and it broke a dream of getting to know the Great Barrier Reef.

Fantastic experience: I was feeling nervous about snorkelling as this was my first time and I’m not a good swimmer. But the crew was amazing and made us feel so safe. Heath who was our guide kindly took us around the beautiful parts of the reef and it was an amazing experience. We saw a ton of beautiful corals, various fish and a sea turtle. The lunch was super yummy and tea/coffee, snacks were served in the morning and on the way back. Overall highly recommend Passions of Paradise to anyone who wants to explore the great barrier reef (even if you are a non swimmer or a first time snorkeler like me). A big shoutout to Heath and the rest of the wonderful crew!! It truly was a once in a lifetime experience ♥️

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are certified divers but we hadn’t dive for a long time. We also took our two teenagers for an introductory scuba dive. The crew accomodated our needs perfectly and they were very kind. Justin and Per were very gentle and helpful, making the family experience very special. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Best and newest boat in the entire fleet with the possibility to stay outdoors and in the sun all day long! Qualified and available staff at any time, you can see the remarkable camaraderie among the guys. Excellent lunch.

Negative experience: This is probably a one-off case, the trip itself was good. We asked via email if there would be photos. The answer was that on our booking day the professional photographer would be on board. We relied on that and then did not rent a GoPro on land. On the boat it was said that he was not there because of vacation. The price for the camera on the boat was an incredible 80 AUD plus 20 AUD for an 8GB memory card. Now we have no photos because we relied on the written statement.

Fantastic experience: Excellent tour of the Great Barrier Reef! Crew were very attentive, boat is lovely and the food was amazing plus the reef was unreal!

Negative experience: I did my research and recommended a group do this tour. They didnt make it to the second reef. They need to find a solution if a passenger needs/wants to come back that is not at the detriment to everyone else when it’s not life or death. Very disappointing!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience!! Everything about PoP was fantastic; the crew was so friendly and knowledgeable, the food was quite delicious, equipment was top notch - the only thing that could have made this experience perfect was if they had a cameraman for the actual dive (however, life isn't perfect and memories were made ;). Fantastic experience: Went for the snorkelling package and had so much fun! Loved the energy from the crew members as they were all very welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic. Fantastic experience: Diving the Great Barrier Reef with Passions of Paradise was a wonderful experience. The crew were knowledgeable, experienced, organised, always happy to help, and fun. The dive equipment was in good condition and all care was taken to ensure safe and enjoyable dives for all experience levels. Thank you! Fantastic experience: If I could give this a 6/5 I would. Prompt and proper. The team were super friendly and helpful not to mention knowledgeable clearly proud of their job and what they’re doing. Marco ran the trip and was a great guy that kept the day ticking smoothly. Alex took me and my partner on an intro dive and was so calm and clear made us feel so safe. Heath took us on our second dive and made us feel like seasoned vets. Food was great as well and catered for all. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough and hope to come back as competent divers one day! Thank you cto all the crew, but Marco, Heath and Alex especially!

Fantastic experience: Had an awesome day out to the reef with Passions of Paradise. These guys cared about our experience and gave personalised service (you’re not just a number on this boat!). The staff accompany and look after snorkelers in the water who don’t feel confident swimming by themselves. They get a floatation to hang on to. The staff are happy and friendly and the food is delicious too! Definitely 5 stars!!

Fantastic experience: It was a wonderful experience. The crew was very helpful, friendly and professional making sure my scuba and snorkelling experience great. My instructor was ANDREA who was very patient and made sure the scuba dive was safe and fun. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have the best experience.

Fantastic experience: The tour was great. The Catamaran has a lot of room and it was solid stable and fast in the waves. Staff were very friendly. One of the staff helped people to explore the reef and provided useful information during snorkelling. Using inflatables, she towed couple of people who could not swim well. She was extremely nice, knowledgeable and supportive.

Fantastic experience: The crew was phenomenal, they ensured that all guest needs were met. The lunch served was better than many of the restaurants in the area. The naturalist 30 min presentation was great, he has a wonderful slide show and answered all the guest questions.

Fantastic experience: We had a great time with passions of paradise. Except my son we have never done snorkelling and not comfortable in sea at all but our guide Martha looked after so well and made us comfortable in the water. Water was rough today because of wind but with Martha we felt at ease❤️. We couldn’t to go to next location because of weather and stayed in same location and this time our guide Matteo shown us so many beautiful fish, coral and made our day so memorable. Thanks Martha and Matteo ❤️❤️. Lunch was nice with so many vegetarian options to choose. Thanks guys for a wonderful day.

Fantastic experience: This was our second day out to the Great Barrier Reef with a larger crowds onboard than our previous cruise so we were divided into three groups with different time and order for snorkelling & intro dives. The locations at the Hastings Reef were magnificent with clear visibility, you could see many corals while snorkelling with some so close to you that you had to try move away from them. While diving, you could feel water temperature changes at various spots, and you were surrounded by more corals & fishes. It was great to have their photographer taking pictures for sale if you so wish, as it was not easy for amateur to take good pictures under water without sufficient light and diving skills. Overall it was a great experience which we enjoyed very much and we hope to come back again very soon.

Fantastic experience: One of the last family owned companies still visiting the outer reef and did not disappoint. The whole staff were friendly and experienced, Lea gave a great presentation on the Hastings reef and marine biology. The choppy conditions did not stop a great experience, extra time was afforded at one reer instead of two and there was plenty of yummy food across the day. Saw plenty of butterfly fish, parrot fish and the shark-bait-ooh-ha-ha guy from the tank in Finding Nemo

Fantastic experience: What an awesome experience. We loved everything about our excursion with Passions. The crew was amazing! They were polite, friendly and so incredibly kind. I was very anxious about snorkeling and trying a scuba dive. But they made sure I felt comfortable and soothed my worries away. Heath was our scuba instructor and he was absolutely the best! The hot lunch was delicious. The equipment was in good condition and the boat was comfortable and spacious. I would 100% recommend going out to the reef with Passions!

Fantastic experience: Really really awesome I always wanted to do the Great Barrier Reef, and this trip was fantastic. There's always complimentary tea and coffee. A big platter of fruit all cut up and ready for the start of the journey. It takes 2 hrs to get to one of the reefs, some of us saw bottlenose dolphins on the way there right next to the boat which was the cherry on top (I asked a marine biologist onboard and they said they were bottlenose dolphins). Got to meet people from around the world and know their stories and journeys which was great. We got a 2hr swim (equipment included), lunch (which was needed as it can get tiring swimming nonstop for 2 hrs, but the staff had their eye on us at all times anyway) and then another 2hr swim in another reef that the captain chose based on the weather. That being said, don't let it intimidate you as there are kids as young as 5 years old and much older folks that did just fine, and if you're ever tired you can jump back on the boat at any time, along with emergency hand signals if you feel like you're in trouble. The reef was so beautiful and breathtaking I didn't notice how tired I was until the end of the swims, I could not stop taking pictures! On the way back they served desserts (cheesecake ) and gave us a presentation about the marine life and great barrier reef itself from a marine biologist. I felt like the company truly looked after us at all times and would highly recommend this even to solo travellers

Fantastic experience: The Marine Biologist for a Day program was an expertly guided tour of citizen science via Eye of the Reef. It was well worth paying a little extra for. Our novice teen divers benefited from this science education that introduced them to the reef’s coral, fish, and other creatures. For divers, Passions III was less crowded, the crew better trained, and the food tastier than other larger dive boats we went on. The Passions team were first-class, especially our enthusiastic guide Corinda. Our family traveled a long way and had an awesome day thanks to them all. I am already recommending them.

Positive experience: I felt a bit nauseous on the way, which made it somewhat difficult, but if the goal is to see the reef, choosing the program offered by PAPA is an excellent decision. With a skilled crew, weather that wasn't too hot, and beautiful underwater scenery, it all came together for the best day. It was my first time snorkeling, so I felt a bit flustered at first, but I quickly got used to it and thought to myself that coming here was a great choice.

Fantastic experience: Awesome experience with Passions of Paradise! Staff were extremely friendly and responsible — Hannah at the checkin counter who was full of great energy, and this Spanish gal (whose name I unfortunately forgot) had been watching over and helping my mom as she was having trouble swimming. Not to mention the hot guys from the staff onboard Weather condition was also very ideal, water was clear and many species of fish were seen, including a shark and a sting ray :)

Fantastic experience: I attended a day with Passions of Paradise and the team on thursday the 18th of July. We went to the outer reef of the Great Barrier Reef and spend around 1.5 - 2 hrs at 2 locations. The snorkelling was immaculate with the best visibility I've ever encountered, the second location had depths of 25-30 metres and I could see all the way to the ocean floor with a cliff face of coral reef rising up like hulking mountain, 100s of fish of different colours, shapes, sizes and species engulfed the reef, it was teeming with life, giant clams, amazing coral colours and some people saw rays and small sharks (harmless ones if you're concerned). The team aboard were fantastic and provided a feast for lunch, were very personable and knowledgeable, it was a smaller vessel than some of the other companies and more environmentally conscientious. Truly an amazing once in a lifetime experience.

Fantastic experience: These guys are the best at what they do. The whole experience was next to none. A big shout out to Justin who was unbelievably patient and very professional all throughout. What an amazing guy. Me and my wife were a bit scared and could not snorkel well, he took us to the reef with a floating ring and made sure we got the best experience out of the trip. Thank you, Justin. Our kids had a blast too. All the staff was very caring and lunch was very delicious. We bought photos and the clicks were great too. To top if off all, the onboard educational commentry about the reef was great as well. If you want the best of the Great Barrier experience, go with these guys. Thank you all

Fantastic experience: Great dive trip! Wonderful crew, especially Darby who was our Dive Master. Love their environmental sustainability work and went to some wicked awesome spots. Would 100% recommend for certified divers who are still beginners (like myself) as they havea super helpful team. Also great food!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough nice things about our Passions of Paradise. From having to change our date (due to another tour we had into the rainforest cancelling) to all of the safety precautions to the most amazing crew members. SHOUTOUT to NILS and my home state boi KENNESAW (sorry I didn’t catch your real name but you know who you are) for taking SUCH AMAZING CARE of me and my mom - who can’t swim and got a little queasy (like half of the boat did due to seriously rough seas). Kennesaw made sure mom was good with continuous checkins. And the MVP of the tour was Nils. My mom was extremely hesitant to snorkel as she doesn’t swim, never snorkeled, likes looking at water and not being in it, and did not want to die in Australia (I didn’t blame her). Nils made my mom feel comfortable enough to do something most in the world only dream ok - snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef. I literally thought he was a marine biologist with all the oceans facts he was spitting out! Thank you Nils from the bottom of my heart for everything you did. The best!

Negative experience: Going on this trip is one of my biggest regrets of the past few years. In short - the breathers were not adequately sanitized prior to our dive, which led to both my partner and I developing illnesses over the few days following this trip (the other members of our party who came on the boat trip but didn't dive, didn't get sick). I first noticed this prior to the dive when we were getting suited up - the breather for my scuba equipment was visibly dirty (covered in lipstick) which I mentioned to other members of my group at the time. As mentioned, we both became sick in the day(s) following this trip. I only had a very sore throat for a few days (couldn't sleep etc) but my partner had it worse off - she developed tonsillitis (for the first time) and two months on, is still suffering from the effects! She has chronic fatigue, a kidney infection, swollen lymph nodes, and post nasal drip (all recognised lingering effects of tonsillitis). The two weeks that she had tonsillitis itself were particularly terrible - her and her family had booked to go to new Zealand for a week, but she was so ill that she had to try and sleep for the duration of the trip which was difficult if not impossible, and could barely even eat soup. The response from passions of paradise was pretty dire - I emailed to explain all this and never heard back. Called them after a week, the woman on the phone said she had forwarded it on to the executive and that she would chase him up to respond. He obviously thought it wasn't worth his time as I got a very lackluster email from the initial woman I spoke to basically saying that its nothing to do with them as they sanitize the equipment between trips. (How about any measures to combat viral infections actually inside the equipment - tubes, tank etc. post COVID..) Your cleaning clearly can't be that good if my nozzle was literally covered in lipstick. There's no doubt in my mind that we both picked up illnesses from the equipment, given when we started to feel unwell, and that the two members of our group (that we spent all our time with that holiday so would have been exposed to the same things) who didn't use the equipment didn't get sick. They even had the cheek to offer me a discount on my next trip with them! You wish! From one tour operator to another, this is simply not good enough. there are plenty of other operators doing the same trip that will have properly sanitized equipment, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Fantastic experience: The best company to visit Great Barrier Reef with! Honestly everything was at such a high standard. The boat, food and snacks, staff and their level of knowledge about the marine life and all relevant. It is hard to choose between 100 different companies offering similar things, but if you choose these guys you will be very satisfied about your experience!

Fantastic experience: Most amazing experience which was not possible without the support of an absolutely amazing team! We had in our family from no swimming experience to really good experience and they went out of their way to cater to us all and tend to our anxiety and make us feel safe ! Matteo - hats off to you for your support - really appreciated what you did today. Shout out to Simon who very quickly noted my prescription glasses and sorted me out with great pair of snorkel prescription glasses! The lovely crew lady ( apologies didn’t get your name ) who came to my young 9 yr old and noted she was sea sick and sorted her out . To all the staff who were constantly out there to help and make the trip a memorable one - really went above and beyond at every stage … just too good! Thank you very much for all you do . ❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend enough. My first time diving and I opted for the assisted dive and snorkel. It was a small group of 3 and our instructor Darby was highly professional, super informative and patient. My experience was the same across all the crew. Insane diving spots - memories for life - I can’t begin to describe them. So good in fact I booked to do a 2nd dive while on board. The lunch was restaurant quality, lamb korma as well as a honey tofu dish and sides ranging from potato salad to cold cuts. The marine biology talk on the way home was also an added bonus that taught us about what we had just seen. 10/10.

Fantastic experience: At 25 years and 67 years, my daughter and I were both extremely happy with our day out on the reef with the Passion for Paradise crew, and very glad we chose this local award winning company. They are enthusiastic, friendly, professional, conscientious, safety conscious, and funny! We both felt cared about and given personal attention. The food was just right, my daughter loved the lie down mattresses on the top deck, all the gear was provided, the snorkelling was fabulous. I’m especially grateful for the free use of the prescription goggles - I could see perfectly!! Thanks especially to Andrea who took great care of me and others who needed extra monitoring and gave his wonderful knowledge of the reef freely as we swam. Fantastic experience: My mum and i traveled with passions of paradise on Sunday the 9th June on a snorkelling and scuba diving tour. From the moment we boarded the vessel we were greeted by a professional, friendly and accommodating team of staff. The complimentary food and beverage was amazing, especially the hot buffet lunch that was served to us by a chef. The captain drew was very helpful and on board at all times watching the swimmers and assisting with equipment and anything needed. I have a rotator cuff injury that stopped me from putting my wet suit on properly but Andrew a crew member was very helpful to ensure a didn’t do further damage. We absolutely loved the beautiful snorkeling spots, we had hours of time to explore the reef and relax. If you’re looking for a reputable, safe and memorable day choose passions of paradise. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: We had such a great time exploring the Great Barrier Reef with Passions of Paradise! We were taken to two really great reefs, where we snorkeled (there was also an option for first-time scuba divers that several others opted for). The crew were all so professional, from conducting the safety briefings, to making sure everyone onboard had their proper equipment, to checking in on every passenger to make sure no one was feeling sea sick. On the ride back to the port, they conducted a lovely wildlife presentation where we got to learn more about all the wildlife and components of the reef we saw while snorkeling or diving. They're one of the few remaining local-owned GBR excursion companies, so we loved supporting local and would definitely recommend them to singles, couples and families alike!

Fantastic experience: My two friends and I had an incredible experience on Passions - we all did the Learn to be a Marine Bio experience with Drew and he was so great in teaching us more about the reef and cultivating an exclusive experience! The reef sites were stunning, the boat is very spacious and comfortable, and the crew was all very attentive and super friendly and funny - 10/10 day!!

Fantastic experience: My Husband & I went on this tour 16/05/24. It was a wonderful day out on the reef. Thank you to Nils in particular for making our day so great. It was made so by his attitude. He showed great respect for our ages,(70 & 74). He patiently explained all aspects of of the wearing of the snorkelling equipment. At all times he displayed genuine caring for us, our well being & made sure we had fun. He had a vast knowledge of the reef & the sea life which is pointed out to us whilst we were snorkelling. He was very patient with us whilst we novices were snorkelling. The other crew members were all great too. The genuine interaction & skill showed by each crew member was very evident. We are sure that all of them can carry out each others tasks required on trip. A great asset to the business. They all showed great professionalism. Drew took careful notes recording our medical history & this was taken into account by the staff when we went snorkelling.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Passions of Paradise. The staff were friendly, helpful, and well organized. Food on the was delicious and abundant. Both reefs we visited were the most beautiful I've ever seen. But what I like most about this company is the work that they do with sustainability giving back to the environment by growing new coral. I would recommend highly!

Fantastic experience: I loved my day out on the reef today with, Passions of Paradise. The team have the highest quality of service, always making sure that everyone is comfortable and ready for an awesome day on the water. The food provided at lunch is awesome (I was stoked with the plethora of vegan options!) and their fruit platters and cheese and crackers are a great snack. Matteo was also a great guide on the dive. I am also impressed by the marine presentation was interesting and informative. This is the best boat I have been on in Cairns and I can’t wait for my next day out with Passions of Paradise.

Fantastic experience: If you want to see the Great Barrier Reef, go with these guys! The sites they took us too were incredible. I’ve been diving since I was 9 and this is the nicest coral I’ve ever seen. There were all kinds of crazy fish, the staff were kind, the company is locally owned, and they do their part to maintain and restore the reef. Great info talk, great lunch, lovely boat, lovely humans. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience, the guides were all friendly and helpful. And locally owned (others aren’t) smaller boat means smaller tourists which was nice. And the people at passions put money back into the reef by replanting new corals, and emissions low with the style of boat. Would highly recommend, saw loads of fish and corals.

Fantastic experience: Best reef cruise company in Cairns to see Great Barrier Reef! And last one owned and operated by local owner. And they are eco tourism certified. If you’re looking to ditch the crowds and have a unique experience at the Reef, look no further. And stay away the ones that take you to a pontoon with hundreds of tourists crammed on a boat. Passions of Paradise has a beautiful and fast catamaran with option to sail in good weather. Attentive and knowledgeable staff to help you through your day. My son got sea sick while on board and they were very helpful and considerate. Lovely marine biologist Hannah made an amazing presentation on the way back. Lunch was so delicious, cooked fresh by the chef on board. And plenty of food available as morning and afternoon tea. And one last thing but a very important one, if you tend to get sea sick, take your medicine before you board. Otherwise they have plenty of sick bags available:)

Fantastic experience: What an amazing team!! I wish I could name each and every staff who worked that day. They all were professional, supportive and enthusiastic. They went over and beyond to give us the best experience. I got cold feet right before my scuba diving session, my diving instructor Keith was exceptionally kind and professional in building up the rapport and bringing up my confidence to enjoy the scuba diving.

Fantastic experience: This was what I came for. Once in a lifetime experience. The crew was just awesome. The way Simon taught us the basics at the start of the dive, it was incredible. They only took us underwater once they were sure that we got the basics right. My wife who is always afraid of the ocean, who never goes swimming at the beaches or swimming pool, she went snorkeling all the way with Ben to see the Great Barrier Reef. Fantastic experience: We had the most incredible day snorkelling and scuba diving with the Passions crew! From start to finish all crew members were so attentive and considerate. They tailored the experience according to our needs and made sure the equipment was accurately fitted. My partner was really nervous about snorkelling and Simon made her feel at ease the whole time in the water. She snorkelled with him and he pointed out interesting fish and a spider crab in the reef! She felt really looked after and very comfortable. I had two certified dives with Justin who was a brilliant diver and great person all round. His passion as dive master and knowledge of the reef was inspiring and he made everyone on the dive feel confident, no matter how long it had been since their last dive. Fantastic experience: We had the greatest time on Passion of Paradise 3. Phoebe was such a great tour guide and host as we were snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef I just wish I could remember everything she was explaining to me she had such a passion for the reef and respect for the reef. I loved how she enjoyed her job making us so comfortable and at ease. Darcy our captain was so friendly explained where we were heading and what he was watching for to make our journey safely. To tell the truth every crew member were outstanding making the excursion one of the most memorable one I’ve been on!!

Fantastic experience: Locally owned and operated, knowledgeable, educational and fun! From check in at the ferry terminal to disembarking at the end of the day, the whole crew was exceptionally nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. Safely was the #1 priority and they were accommodating of GF/DF diet while on board. Lunch was so good and coffee/tea was provided on our way out to the reef and our way back in. They also had a photographer on board that took memorable pictures of everyone and were reasonably priced if you wanted to purchase. You could also hire a water proof camera or go pro on board. Highly recommend for a local company for explore the GBR!

Fantastic experience: We had a very good experience with Passions of Paradise on our recent diving excursion to the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns. The attention to detail was exceptional, the boat was clean and new, and the organization was excellent. It was satisfying to discover that the excursion was not overcrowded, allowing for a more personalized experience. Throughout the trip, we were accompanied by Gonzalo, who was very attentive and knowledgeable about marine life and the environment. We highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.

Fantastic experience: My brother and I went snorkelling for the first time at the Great Barrier Reef and we are so glad that we chose Passions of Paradise. They took us to two beautiful reefs (Flynn reef and Millin reef) about 2 hours away. The whole crew was very organised and friendly. Gonzalo, our instructor and guide, was absolutely amazing. He was patient and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed our snorkelling experience with him. The food was great with plenty of vegetarian options. All the facilities on board were excellent. I would definitely recommend them to everybody!

Fantastic experience: Definitely a highlight of our East coat trip. The staff were all so lovely and friendly. The boat was spacious, good atmosphere on board and food was delicious. Simon was our dive instructor, he was incredible. Felt very safe diving with him. The snorkelling was amazing too, you get to see loads. I would recommend this trip to everyone. It was very well organised and the staff were all so brilliant I couldn't imagine diving with anyone else. Oh, and the photographer on board takes great photos too. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend this company any more. I had the most perfect day (as a solo traveller) . The crew on board were hard working and made everyone feel at ease. The day ran like clockwork. There was good communication at all times. The food was plentiful and tasty. The snorkeling itself was as amazing as expected with the crew in the water at all times, they were reassuringly meticulous in their head counts after every time we were in the water. The journey back to Cairns was comfortable and relaxing. A great day was had.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing! The crew were awesome, the reefs were stunning. It’s a small boat with maybe 90 on board and one of the few remaining locally owned reef tours left. Almost all the other boats going out were huge and jammed with people. We had lots of delicious snacks, a really good buffet lunch and a crew that looked after us perfectly. One of the best was Darby who took care to make sure we were well looked after. She also helped me get reconnected with my wife after we lost track of each other at one of the reef sites. Her enthusiasm for the reef and the company was contagious. Skip the mega boats and book these folks. They really are the best in Cairns.

Fantastic experience: we had a wonderful day on the reef with Passion 3 on Good friday. The crew were all absolutely delightful relaxed and efficient. Heath made my day with great knowledge and passion as he guided my snorkelling. The presentation provided during the return journey was great- informative and amusing. The scuba diving was very well organised and brilliant safety instructions along with small groups. Everyone was at ease and comfortable. Fantastic experience: A very great day. Unforgettable. The people are all so helpful and friendly. The travel time was 2 hours there, which is really worth it. In the water, there were the most amazing fish. Lunch was okay. You were well taken care of. Water is free. It's best to bring a bottle. Everything else is at good prices. Safety is very important on board and strictly monitored by the staff. Plan for 9 hours for the whole trip.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing tour with Passions of Paradise! The boat was comfortable and did not feel crowded at all. They even reserved a table for our group of 7 without us even asking! Lunch was fantastic and staff was on top of everything. Gonzalo was great with us! He took us all around the first reef, explaining and showing everything to us and even pushing us around when we were tired! Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Last minute booking for me and my wife the day before and they managed to get us on the following day. The staff/instructors were amazing and very helpful my wife doesn't speak English that well and they took their time to explain to her the safety procedures and brief for scuba diving, the boat trip out to the reef was very comfortable, amazing snorking views of the reef again instructors were very helpful for people who were not confident swimmers, great nutricious food for lunch was provided and you can have as much as you want the enviormental talk on the way back was very educating and I think it's great that tour services educate us on what's actually happening with the great barrier reef and how we can contribute to the longjevity of it's existence. I didn't get to dive because of my medical condition but the agent operating the bookings was very understanding and I was able to get a refund for the extra dive part. I would highly reccomend booking your tour with Passions of Paradise their name says it all and I can tell you they are very passionate about what they do and they will go out of their way to help or assist your needs while on the tour. Amazing experience for me and my wife life long memories were created on that tour and I'm grateful for the team at Passions of Paradise for the amazing experience THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: Feeling immense gratitude and awe after spending the day with the Passions of Paradise team for a day on the Great Barrier Reef, scuba diving and snorkeling. Every member on the staff radiated joy + kindness + care and balanced it with incredible knowledge + skill. The food was amazing and fueled us well for a full day on the water. Hugo, my dive guide today, led the best dive I have ever been lucky enough to take part on. He ensured we were well prepared with knowledge of conditions, the dive plan, and the various wildlife we may encounter. The dive was beautiful; we came across a sea turtle, reef sharks, giant clams, coral and fish of every color, searays, and Nudi sea slugs. Fantastic experience: Great Tour, Great Experience, Exceptional Staff Chef Ben is very good in making food and accommodating dietary restriction. We are Jain and do not eat root vegetables like Onion, Potatoes, Garlic and others. Ben made us great food and Jain pesto. The guide team and instructors were nice and friendly. They were very attentive. The captain was always on board looking out in water. The staff was constantly watching guiding. They take 4 head counts, one written and 3 hand counts. Until all four counts give same total, they do not move. The safety first attitude is best. My son took marine bio tour which was very impressive. The guides help beginner snorkel to move around and ensure everyone has great time....
