Negative experience: We went on a train ride from Cairns to Kuranda village and returned via Skyrail, but we wasn't very satisfied with the organization. There wasn't enough time allocated in Kuranda village during the tour, and we didn't get enough time to explore the places to visit and the activities. Therefore, the tour didn't meet our expectations, and we was disappointed, it ruined our whole day!

Fantastic experience: Kuranda railway up and Skyway down with transfers. What a fantastic day! The train trip up was wonderful and the Skyway down is breathtaking. Make sure to leave time on the way down for both stops, absolutely gorgeous!

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK AT Global Travel Services (GTS) !!! We have booked a Kuranda Full Day Trip - Kuranda Train Up, Skyrail Cableway Backtour for 218$ (109$ each), due to weather conditions the Skyrail Cableway Back was cancelled (heavy rain in wet season, not so surprising). GTS representative told us that we will get refund for the Skyrail, which is half of the whole program and ticket price is 55$ per person. WE HAVE RECEIVED 4$ EACH AS A REFUND, WHICH IS CLEARLY A SCAM. The 4$ refund per person is not even 4% of the entire trip. After inquiring about the amount (which we thought was a mistake), they told us that the amount refunded is final and guess what, the price included door to door service and professional guidance (gave us some information on tropical north on the way to the station) and also ticket assistance, which meant that the guy got our tickets from the counter in case of the train (in case of skyrail we had to get our own tickets). So they have provided these “services” for 110$...... All in all GTS took advantage on us and the situation, we were really disappointed in this company, we usually had positive experiences in Australia, except GTS, we really REGRET CHOOSING THEM. Also there is no indication anywhere on their website on the terms and conditions regarding cancellation and refund. We wrote this to make sure everyone is aware and also to emphasize that you are way better of if you take an Uber go to Kuranda station have your tickets to the train, go see the village, head back with Skyrail (or vica versa).

Negative experience: Booked a tour with them via Get Your Guide website, the pick up location and times were a mess meaning we walked 10 mins to a hotel to wait over an hour for a pick up. It seems they are aware Get My Guide gives out incorrect information but can't be bothered to either correct it or contact the customer directly to sort it out.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic tour guides and a really good experience. We had booked through a 3rd party travel agent who was not very helpful and ended up putting us on the incorrect tour for us ending up in us paying extra expense unnecessarily but the guide in the morning at the skyrail terminal was very helpful and informative. GTS comes highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I was participate GTS's Hartley's tour. I spend a day at Hartley's, there are a lot of different activities , cassowary feeding, croco feeding, croco track and Kangaroo&wallaby feeding!!!!! I love feed those lovely animals. I even saw a baby wallaby in mom's belly. Before every feeding, the staff will explain in detail, easy way to know about this animals, I was enjoy the day. BTW, Wayne, the driver who picked us up that day was so nice, he explains every thing about Cairns on the way to Hartley's and back Cairns, thank you.

Negative experience: Friends who see this review, please do not book the day tour of Paronella Park with this company, it’s not worth it. There is serious suspicion of false advertising, they save time wherever possible, and the total time spent visiting the waterfall and swimming is just about twenty minutes! According to their own words, 'We are in a hurry, so if you want to swim, just jump in and out.' It’s utterly ridiculous. Once we get to the park, the tour lasts only thirty minutes (it’s just too small, managing to last for a few dozen minutes is already long), then we have lunch, and after an hour of doing nothing, the tour guide hides in a corner playing on their phone, which turns out to be the reason for the rush! The so-called 'castle' is in an unimaginable state of disrepair, the whole attraction is just a fairy tale story holding it up. The so-called 'night forest walk to find wildlife' is just holding a flashlight to look for a spider, after dinner, walking by the water in Cairns is way better than this. Baidu can find many negative reviews about this attraction, so please open your eyes wide and do not waste your precious time and money. If you want to swim in the valley waterfall, Crystal Cascade is free and has a great view; if you want to see the rainforest, you can take the cable car to Kuranda. All the activities of this pointless day tour can completely be replaced by other groups, not to mention they do not follow their own itinerary. In short, the best they do is marketing, and their after-sales service is extremely poor. I called to complain, they said the manager would call back in an hour, but after waiting seven or eight hours, there was still no response. When you call, you actually feel that the guide’s work isn’t the worst, their manager is the one who is truly speechless and extremely arrogant, they don’t care about customer complaints, stating they have many good reviews and don’t care about the bad ones, it’s their style. This group mainly makes money from Chinese people; we paid a high price but received discounted service compared to other groups. This day tour was a major failure of my trip to Cairns, and the manager of GTS is the worst person I encountered in this beautiful city, without exception! You are honored to be my worst memory of my journey in Cairns... You don’t understand how to respect others when you answer the phone, your tone is aggressive and you keep talking, giving no opportunity for the other person to speak. You think you are eloquent, but in fact, you don’t even understand basic logic. Your employee Stuart is more qualified to be a manager than you because he understands how to respect customers.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time in Kuranda taking the scenic railway up and bus back, led by the wonderful Jude whose service was excellent throughout. He arrived early and was friendly and chatty. Impressed at the many options GTS had for this Kuranda trip so could pick the one that suited best. Thanks
