Positive experience: We dealt with Matt at Happy Travels in Cairns, we found Happy Travels to be very helpful for arranging tours for us, however I wouldn’t book a rental car through Happy Travels again, ended up having to pay an extra $140 when picking the car up because the wrong sized car was booked

Positive experience: Disappointing Experience Our experience with Happy Travel/Cairns Adventure was frustrating. We booked a rafting tour, but the shuttle never showed up, leaving us stranded and unable to participate in the activity we had paid for. It took time and a lot of effort to prove they were at fault and to get a refund. The entire process felt unprofessional, and we were left feeling neglected. That being said, despite all the misunderstandings, the company did make an effort to correct their mistake and showed concern for the customer, which we appreciated.

Fantastic experience: They offer everything you could want for a visit to Cairns. We booked a package that included a trip to the Great Barrier Reef! The package covered breakfast, lunch, a complimentary champagne and cheese platter, snorkeling (with an option to learn on the cruise if you're a beginner), underwater sightseeing, and more. All of this came at a price of $270, which felt like great value. The staff lady was very helpful in customising our package as we were a group. If you're planning a trip to Cairns, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Fantastic experience: We have booked 4 different tours with the happy travel desk in our hostel mad monkey village, Jay was super helpful, he sorted us the absolute best deal possible and even stayed late to help us. Couldn’t recommend more! He gave us the cutest little postcards as well.

Fantastic experience: Well a beautiful welcome by a beautiful smile Hanna at Happy Travels we had been to several travel shops but not as welcoming as Hanna. We booked the Cape Trib an Daintree forest tour her knowledge was excellent full of information an what time our tour would arrive an what best to bring. Had a great time on our travels enjoyed all the stops an well informed guide cruisy day ,Hanna is a great asset to your team, even seen her the following day an she inquired how we went on our tour on her day off . Hanna made the process very easy highly recommended.

Negative experience: Can not be trusted, they don't tell you what you should know. They never care about you when they got your money. it costs more than other agencies.

They charged me extra for weight though and at the activity I got charged again 3x as much, they said that it never goed through HappyTravels... Plus I chose the option to drive 1 hour for a beachlanding which was not available (because of the weather, not their fault but they couldve warned for that)

I had zero expectations walking in to Happy Travels. When I walked in, I was welcomed with a lovely smile from Betsy. When we started discussing different tours to book, her enthusiasm really blew me away! Not only enthusiastic, but extremely patient as I asked a billion different questions. About an hour later, I had suddenly planed and booked my next 4 weeks in detail! I even got a calendar where Betsy wrote down when my busses were, what activities I was doing on which dates, and so on. She even helped me book all of my accommodation! Not only was Betsy extremely helpful and open minded, she’s also the first friend I made here in Australia. I went into Happy Travels in Cairns and was quickly seen by Ryan who booked my skydive in Airlie Beach, a 3-day/2-night trip to Fraser Island, and a Greyhound coach ticket. The skydive and Fraser Island tour have been highlights of my time in Aus. Ryan saved me over £100 and even took the time to help me plan an itinerary for my East Coast trip. She took care of everything for me, from transport to hostels to activities. I was quite nervous because I had never booked a big trip like this before but she made me feel so at ease! Fantastic experience: Happy Travels Cairns-with his winning personality and in-depth knowledge of the area, Matt guided us in our selections of activities. Each trip was a delight, and the tour operators were very friendly and professional. We enjoyed fun in the sun and snorkeling on our Catamaran adventure to Michaelmas Cay and the great barrier reef. Next, we ventured to the gondola and train trip through the rainforest at Kuranda. Through it all, we kept thinking of Matt and how he helped us make this happen. He is the shining star here.

He told me the list of my excursion options without me having to worry about the prices. At the end of the meeting, we discussed the budget and I am fully satisfied!
